The room itself is small, intimate--the kind of place where you're bound to recognize a face, or at the very least, feel inclined to invite a stranger to share the sofa and maybe a story. And then there's the setting--tucked beneath a historic relic, a basement bar built into the bones of old Americana. The building dates back to the early 1900s, echoing with a past that deserves to be honored, not phoned in. That's exactly why I expected more from the cocktails. A place with this much atmosphere shouldn't fall flat when it comes to what's in the glass. It's a mismatch--a beautiful stage, but a script that doesn't quite rise to meet it.

They included big chunks of lobster and the sauce was so good. Lastly, we ended our dinner with the Strawberry Hand Pie. This is basically a warm strawberry strudel with vanilla bean ice cream. They used locally sourced strawberries and I'm still thinking about it as I'm writing this review. Adrienne was our server and she was very nice and attentive. Food often comes out not at the same time so some items are cold while others just arrived (again poor training). At that price point everything should be on point!

We work hard for us to not be able to enjoy one night without having to try to be guilt tripped for not providing a tip. Rent , food , and everything else is expensive already as is. I also deliver food as part of another side job and not even I have expectation of a tip. I let the waitress know that it's not mandatory to provide a tip especially with the lack of service we received.

So this place has a taco truck outside there entrance and i have eaten here many times and decided to last night for dinner and as usual they were so bomb. I decided to got 2 asada tacos and I could not decide whether i wanted 3 chicken or chorizo tacos so Christina (the cashier) told she can have the taco guys mix both Chicken and Chorizo. Let me tell you, it was the BEST!!! Next time i think i may do all 5 like that but then again i love there Asada as well... They only start selling tacos later in the day i want to say about 6pm and they are also the only taco truck that has Flour tortilla tacos which reminds me of going to visit my Family in Ciudad Obregón, SONORA they also do the tacos with small flour tortillas.
