This morning we decided to get tortas from La Huerta juice bar and usually they are good but this time we asked for a torta de pierna and one of asada. We opened the bags and noticed that the torta de pierna was actually carnitas and the asada torta was supper salty. We were heading to LA so we were in a rush but we went back to the restaurant to see if they can give us the pierna torta and the guy said no that it's the same meat that it's gonna be the same thing and honestly yeah pork meat but it's very different and seasoned differently and the guy said it's gonna be the same meat and that they cook the meats in the same pan. Overall the food was not good and the service wasn't good either. If they are putting pierna and carnitas on the board please know according to the guy it's the same meat so if u order pierna your going to get carnitas . read more

Ok this is an amazing juice bar! They make it fresh and u can see all the fruit lined up! I think they also use fresh orange juice as the base for my all berry smoothie! I can't wait to try all the other favors. It ranges to $5-$7 bucks depending on the size. Then moving on to the tortas, think of this as the sandwich loaded with the meat of your choosing and always with avocado. U have to pay more for cheese so I opted out. Just because I can't eat soft cheeses right now. These cost about $5-$7 bucks too depending on if u add anything in. My total was about $11 and the sandwich was sooo big I saved the second half for later! This might be my regular Monday shop before I drive into work! read more

There's a layer of white cheese in there that separates this torta from any other one I've ever had. You also have the option of having it with or without jalapeños. I went to La Huerta last Tuesday, January 07,2021 My complaint is that my torta taste and smell Like sanitizer, when I got there I noticed it was just the young man with glasses and another young lady they were cleaning and the young lady make my torta,I left and 10 minutes later I open the bag was there when I notice a really strong smell of sanitizer and paper and Torta taste sanitizer, please pay attention when they clean the kitchen table make sure the sanitizer is air dry before prepping the food please,By the way I call twice same day but nobody answered I call a day later and I think the lady owner she hang up on me,I didn't want it anything I'll return just ask that these young people Pay attention on details especially speaking about food because I ended up with a stomach ache after eating half of the torta which of the bread smelled and tasted like sanitizer!!!!! read more
