    Asada Burrito size
    Jay M.

Legit taco truck right across from Island Pacific on Rose Ave. Their tacos and burritos are far better than some of the sit-down restaurants I've eaten at in the area. There is always a line of people at this truck, and as others drive by and see people waiting for their food, it gets even longer. Yeah, Tacos de Jerez has that effect. FOOD: x4 Tacos (x2 Al Pastor, x1 Asada, x1 Cabeza): Pretty good for the most part. The al pastor wasn't too flavorful, but you do get a good amount on each taco. Their asada is tasty, tender, and has decent flavor. Our favorite taco, however, was the Cabeza. It was soft/tender and had a great bold flavor to it. Unfortunately, we didn't get as much meat as the other tacos. Pair it with salsa roja and the sides (serrano chile, cucumber, and lime). Asada Burrito w/ Everything: Good-sized burrito with a balanced ratio of asada, beans, and rice. The asada mixed in was just as flavorful as those on the tacos. The salsa roja is a great match; it has its own flavor, and isn't just a single note of spiciness. The owners are usually parked and taking orders by around 7pm, but I've seen the truck out there as early as 5:45pm on certain days.

Not good I'm sorry I've gone there a few times. The tortilla was hard and they give u a lot of onion no flavor.

Best tacos in town, authentic tacos especially since I'm from Zacatecas. The employees are friendly and always get my orders correct.

Located inside a car business parking lot, you can find the taco truck serving up delicious options. We went traditional and got tacos. Asada, Al pastor, suadero, and birria. All were deliciously marinated and cooked to perfection. And what's not to love about a hand made tortilla?! The perfect touch! The cashier was friendly and even brought our food out to the two little tables they have set up. She walked over with a bottle of their green and red salsas. Both were so good and added the perfect flavor to their already delicious tacos. I honestly can't wait to go back and try other food options. It's worth the drive from Ventura!

Wasn't busy at all so I figured I would be getting my meal soon. Good menu with very reasonable prices . I got an Al pastor burrito for $12 bucks where I asked if I could please get extra lemons with my order. The gentlemen up front said no problem where I proceeded to wait for another 10 minutes until my burrito was ready. Once my number was called I walked up and asked the same person if there was extra lemons with my order. The gentleman responded yes and salsas. Well once I got home i discovered there was no lemons it all with my order. I need lemon with my food so this caused for me to now have to make another run out after getting home. This service was very dissappointing. If they could at least be honest and tell me there is none would be much more appreciated than being lied too. The burrito was ok. Not really worth the hassle of this experience. With many trucks in the area just make sure to consider this experience. Stay safe out there folks, till next time!

Yes, first off, it is expensive and they serve you small portions. But its Lobster! from Maine! of course its going to be expensive!!!! The lobster rolls, lobster tacos are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!! And I'm not related to them in anyway, I didn't even liked lobster that much before. But the first time I tried one of their cold lobster rolls I was hooked. Now I can't wait until they come back on the 7/17 to the Channel Islands Harbor... Check them out. http://www.cousinsmainelobster.com/ Now I did try the Grill-Cheese truck, I'm not sure what they were called, I just wanted to try them because of the size of the line, I figured they have to be amazing grilled cheeses. NOPE! Mediocre at best. I can't believe I spent over an hour waiting for one of these things. I don't even eat cheese and I made an exception this time because I thought I was going to try the best grilled cheese sandwich ever! Sadly it was just a plain white bread with a few types of cheese not even melted all the way. YUCK! Anyways, they did have tons of other trucks there and it is a definite must go for everyone that loves all types of food.

That kind of reliability is rare, and it means everything when you're feeding a large group. We probably wouldn't have dropped by it if someone hadn't told us about it. The staff was kind, friendly, and gave suggestions when we asked questions about the various meat options. The cash register is right straight in as you walk in. There are communal benches outside and a few high top tables inside, but the restaurant seemed to get a lot of pick up orders. Food came out within 5 minutes on a Saturday at lunch, which I was weary about since it's BBQ - but everything ended up still being hot and juicy. We ended up going with the 3-meat plate for about $30 total. It was enough for 2 people (or 1 really hungry person!). We ordered the brisket, burnt ends, and hot links which came with garlic bread and two sides of our choice - the star of the show was for sure the burnt ends, which were juicy and deeply flavorful. The brisket was moist, which I feel like is hard to find, but I do wish it had more flavor. The hot links were also good but didn't have much nuance either. Next time, we'll definitely save room to try some dessert, which was only $5! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out!
