I would more describe them as an amazing Mexican restaurant that just happens to be in the shape of a food truck. They're based in Oxnard, CA next to the Mobile station at 655 S Ventura Rd. Plenty of parking around the truck, so easy in and out. They also have nice tables with an awning set up if you decide to eat there. They have been at the same location for 14 years, so they must be doing something right! It's a family owned and operated restaurant by the very friendly and helpful Victor and Sandra Cervantas along with their kids Carlos and Orlando. Now to the food! All of it looked great and was presented nicely, but the best part was the taste. I can honestly say I have never tasted a better Tostada. It was different than any other I have tasted and I'll be back for more. Also the quesadilla and rancheria plate was amazing the next day. The kitchen was very clean and you can tell they take pride in their truck and presentations. If you're coming from LA, it's about 3.6 miles from hwy 101 if you take the Vineyard exit to Ventura Rd and if your coming from Ventura the exit is Victoria. If you're in the area, do yourself and family a favor and take the time to visit Tacos Forastero, you will thank me!

Located inside a car business parking lot, you can find the taco truck serving up delicious options. We went traditional and got tacos. Asada, Al pastor, suadero, and birria. All were deliciously marinated and cooked to perfection. And what's not to love about a hand made tortilla?! The perfect touch! The cashier was friendly and even brought our food out to the two little tables they have set up. She walked over with a bottle of their green and red salsas. Well once I got home i discovered there was no lemons it all with my order. I need lemon with my food so this caused for me to now have to make another run out after getting home. This service was very dissappointing. If they could at least be honest and tell me there is none would be much more appreciated than being lied too. The burrito was ok.
