The highlight was the chicken was cooked perfectly. It was juicy and the breading was consistent. Flavor however was lacking a bit, not talking just heat, but flavor. Sides wise the fries were decent, I'd skip the Mac and Cheese as the pasta was mushy and the sauce lacked flavor. Decent spot in a pinch, but there's better spots for hot chicken IMO. My food was cold when it came out, mind you it took like 5 mins to get my food out which could only mean that they just have the food laying out there unlike the food trucks which cook it fresh. The portions were also mediocre. It was half empty with a couple scraps of chicken. They should hire people who actually care about the customers and respect the food they're preparing. Gordos Offers the best hot chicken! They're local and they offer the best costumer service. My go to combo is the 3 Finger Combo and since that isn't enough for me I add an extra tender to make it a 4 Finger. The price is amazing 21$ not shabby at all for 4 Large Tenders and my sides of choice which would be the Fries and the Coleslaw.
