The owner will greet you the minute you come in. She tries her best to have no line, meaning she'll work twice as hard to make your plate so that the next person won't wait too long. Her daughter helps her sometimes. The food choices are great, lots of choices. The food is usually quite fresh. Most of the time, you can expect the same stuff from Chinese fast food restaurants. The beef and broccoli is nice. The coconut shrimp is awesome, not many places have that! Inside is very clean, and seating is quite spread out, which is really nice. Need fast Chinese food in Oxnard, this is your place!

This is the spot that's worth driving out of your way to get. I have a lot of friends that love a certain commercial Chinese restaurant, I myself am not the biggest fan. So when I found Peking Chinese Fast Food I was absolutely delighted , that not only is the food delicious, they also give you a lot of it and for a reasonable price! My favorites are the Orange Chicken & Spicy Chicken with Chow Mein & Fried rice. Oh, & don't forget to get the Cream Cheese Ragoon, there is nothing skimpy about these & paired with the sweet & sour sauce & drizzled with Chile' crisp sauce, chefs kiss! Oh did I mention the chow Mein? The BEST fast food chow Mein ever!! So when you think, oh I live in Ojai , Ventura, Camarillo ... I don't want to drive to Oxnard. Shut that voice off in your head & drive to Oxnard , because believe me your tastebuds & tummy will be thanking you! Family owned & a welcoming atmosphere! PS: If you don't drive, don't fret they are on some of the delivery apps!

I was driving through. I was craving Chinese food so I thought I'd try this place and I'm so glad I did. Chinese fast food same price as panda express but way better flavoring rice is really really good. Chow mein is really really good. Orange chicken was whatever, spicy pepper chicken could've been spicier but the red spicy chicken so bomb. I'm definitely would recommend the spot. The service was nice. The owner lady was nice and quick. I would literally just do rice and Charmaine mix with that red chicken spicy meat and you'll be good with some wontons

B Combo. Lots of food!

I'm writing this review as I'm eating this delicious food. The lady is very kind and proud to serve you, she was very welcoming. You know I don't typically eat Chinese fast food cause, well..... Like Forest Gump once said "you'll never know what you're going to get!" Or like Gennaro Gattuso once said "sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe sh*t!" But this is not the case. I also would like to add the amount of food you get is insane, I always share a plate with my wife and there is still leftovers. Crazy. Two sides caught my eye was the coconut shrimp, DELICIOUS And the Spicy Chicken- it has a deep red color with chopped jalapeño, onion, and pepper. The lady saw me eyeing, gave me a sample- OH MY GOD FREAKING DIVINE. The lady didn't have to ask me she just started packing in a separate container lol! Hints of spice, pepper, crunchy. Just amazing. Great Chinese fast food 10/10 for me.

Standard Chinese food spot. The service was really quick and the server was nice. The "spicy chicken" here is not spicy at all.

6 pm. Dinner time. We came a little early to bit the crowd…read more We oredered too much food but no problem. Good for tomorrow too Dandan noodles, beed and onion wrapped, shrimp fried rice, garlic pork chop, steamed pork bun, pork xio long bao. We love it here. Friendly service and food taste great. If I live close by, I'll eat here everyday.

With the cyclospora in mind, Chinese food seems like the safest bet. This place feels like a hole…read morein the wall type of restaurant. There were a couple couples that look like they're on dates. Service is really good here. And we ordered all the food we wanted to try. It seems like they tried to limit the chances of the cyclospora parasite since no one has a definite source yet (Mongolian beef usually has raw green onions but they subbed wok fired yellow onions). But some stuff they kept the cilantro and green onions (bc they were cold dishes) The pan fried dumpling would have been good if it didn't have so much Ginger.. I'm not too into Ginger but the dumpling was nice because it had the juice inside of it and the texture was nice The refreshing woodear is a cold dish that has a chewy/crunchy texture. The soy sauce/vinegar flavor makes it refreshing when the other foods get heavy. Spicy beef slices were not that bad, but I prefer more of the spicy szechuan flavor (numbing/tingly feeling). The cilantro and green onions also provided good flavor The beef and onion pancake reminded me of mushu beef, it had the same wrap, hoision sauce flavor with meat and veggies-green onions. It also had good amount of meat Hunan beef was ok but wife enjoyed it. Wife's cooking prepared me for the peppers...is it a jalapeno or a green pepper...Russian roulette if you can't handle spicy. The Mongolian beef had reg onions instead of the green onions. Lots of onions..but I can't be mad bc the onions had the wok fire flavor, which I enjoy and not many places do it. The spicy eggplant with hot garlic sauce had lots of woodears, the eggplant was a little more on the sweet side, and the eggplant had a little bit of a crispyness to it. The salt and pepper shrimp almost reminded me of fried cake batter. It had some sweetness to it so it confused me cuz I was expecting something savory. At the end of the meal we had our fortune cookie, which seemed like it was more of an ad than a fortune.. sneaky Fortune Cookie company. Overall this place was pretty good and worth trying, especially since they have great service

The food doesn't sit for long, they make small batches so everything is always fresh. I like that the food is not too salty. It's a nice small family business where the husband cooks, the wife serves, and the daughter helps out. Ample parking in a shared lot. I will definitely be back to support them when I'm in the area.

They have canned soda and about 5 or 6 different appetizers. Two different options for soups. I myself have not tried the soups but my wife had the egg flour soup and she got the bigger size and loved it, it was so filling and flavorful. They have few tables but it is good in a pince if you want to eat it right there. The food is kept hot and ready to eat. They have the best chow mein my loathes Panda because too many veggies. My wife is a one hit wonder she always gets the broccoli beef and orange chicken I vary through either the chicken teriyaki or the orange chicken because my wife steals mine. My favorite is the cream cheese ragoons much bigger than pandas. They have many sauce options and give chopsticks. The owners are super sweet and my wife has been multiple times and now she drags me and it is my favorite fast chinese place.

We had to ask for a second sterno because our vegetables didn't cook. The meat (a thick cut of beef) was served in the pot completely raw, so I think this was also why it took so long to heat up. We were sitting there for a long time watching the pot looking for bubbles. Because the sterno can't get the pot to boiling, this is a health hazard. I see a couple reviews of people getting sick after eating here, so I wonder if that's the reason why. 2) The service was subpar. There were two waitresses covering three tables and somehow all of our parties were looking around trying to flag them down. It took FOREVER to get a to go box and our bill. 3) And the dipping sauce situation... there are no sauces on the table, and we had to ask if there was any sauce for our hot pot. The waitress wasn't sure and had to go into the back to check. Their house sauce is just soy sauce mixed with Lao Gan Ma chili flakes... By the time you crawl out hours later because of how long service took, you'll be haggard and wrinkled. It kind of ruined our day. There's a Tasty Pot in Oxnard. Go there.
