My girlfriend and I were craving Filipino food before doing some shopping in Camarillo, and this…read moreplace completely exceeded our expectations. We ordered the Tapsilog ($15), Chicken Adobo with Pancit and Puto ($15), Shanghai ($5), and a can of Calamansi juice ($3). Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We were also offered a sample of their atchara, which paired perfectly with both the tapa and chicken adobo. It was so good that it elevated the entire meal. The customer service was warm and welcoming, reminding me of being with my own family. Everyone was friendly, and the food came out quickly despite it being a busy Sunday afternoon. We visited around 1:00 PM on a Sunday and found it to be a great time to come after the main lunch rush. There is outdoor seating behind the restaurant and in front and while the sounds of the nearby freeway were present, the atmosphere still gave us beachside vibes and made for a relaxing meal. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience. The food, service, and hospitality were all outstanding. I highly recommend stopping by and giving this place a try. I'm already looking forward to coming back and working my way through the rest of the menu. Please support this local gem you won't be disappointed!

Very cute mom-and-pop shop and a hidden gem in Camarillo. I've driven by it many times and never…read morerealized it was there. The pricing is fair, portions are generous, and overall the food was good. As a fellow Filipino, I would love to see a little more variety on the menu since it currently focuses on the basics. From a business standpoint, especially considering the location and customer base, I understand keeping things simple. The only dish I wasn't a huge fan of was the Tapsilog, as the meat was a bit salty for my taste. The Longsilog was much better, and I loved that they included a small puto (rice cake) with the meal. Overall, a great experience and worth a visit.

When I first found this place I went out of my way to encourage the owner to advertise on Yelp…read more They used to not have a page on Yelp and their only source of advertising was local pages on Facebook. I wanted to tell people about it because I really enjoyed my food and their service was really homey and inviting. Everything from their free consommé to their delicious Sonora style combinations was very tasty. Fast forward to now, they now have a yelp page and the owner is doing a great job advertising her business on various platforms. The problem now, is that I strongly believe that their quality has gone down since they first opened. For any new restaurant to survive, they must not only serve good tasting food but, probably most importantly they need to hace consistency. Some of the things I feel have suffered is: Their free consommé, yes I get it it is free and I shouldn't complain but, come on, if you are givings your clients any food or drink it better represent your business well. The other things is the flavor of their meats. The pastor and asada have been tasting bland and flavorless. Guys please just take you time and do it right. Please don't cut corners when it leads to food taste and quality problems. Overall, I really hope they survive during the pandemic and I do hope that they heed my advice on the food that I gave them the last time I was there. They are really nice and hardworking people and I think if they just improve some things in their food truck, they can continue to succeed.

Found Taco Sisters on Yelp and decided to give it a try because my normal spot (Tacos La Bonita)…read morewas closed. The truck is right past 8th street off Oxnard Blvd going north. There is a parking lot that you can turn into. For about $28, we got four tacos (3 asada and 1 al pastor), an asada quesadilla, a volcan (crispy corn fried tortilla with pastor and cheese) and a caramelo (corn/flour tortilla with asada and cheese). The corn/flour tortillas were so tasty. I'm assuming they're made by hand. The pastor was good but not memorable. The asada was perfectly seasoned, tender and delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked medium- a lot of taco trucks I've tried overcook their meat and it becomes dry and loses flavor. My wife added the sautéed onions and green salsa to her plain tacos and it gave her that crunch that she was looking for to round out her meal. The best thing that I ate was the caramelo. It is must try if you like cheese. Staff was very friendly and they offered consommé for free with your food. We will definitely be back!
