It was our first time here. While waiting in line we asked one of the locals what they recommend. We were told "everything is good". They recommended the quesataco de barbacoa, mulita, and the nachos. We ended up ordering 3 quesataco de barbacoa (5/5) and a queros burrito (3/5). The burrito was good but my husband said the chicarones were a little hard. There are tables and chairs for dinning. There is also a small salsa bar for self service. The ambience is busy. We beat the rush. After we ordered there was a consistent line of people ordering. It's currently after 10pm and there are still people ordering and eating. Went for a post dinner snack and night tacos sounded great. The food truck is conveniently located in a corner with bright lights. There's a mini dining area right outside or you can buy it for to go as well. The food smelled great, quick to make, and quite tasty. We only tried their carne asada and al pastor so far but we liked them quite a bit. Good amount of toppings provided and we didn't think they were skimpy for the price of each one. When all else is closed, the truck tacos is where to go! Kind of rhymes lol Feel like everything closes too early these days. Luckily, we have the taco trucks working hard late at night. I pass by this taco truck at least a couple times a week and always have a long line. You can't miss it if you're ordering at night with their bright light show! Their food looked good in the pictures and I had to try'em. When I got my order, they did not disappoint! Exactly what I expected and it was made with the quickness! Chicken tacos were spot on and the azada fries were fresh and the fries were crispy! I was afraid to eat from these taco trucks but now that I've tasted it, definitely going back for more. This is me and my boyfriend's favorite place to get authentic Mexican tacos now. They also have chips and salsa that is self serve which I love. This time around, we also got the carne asada fries and they really packed it! It also didn't taste too oily unlike other places which is great. This place has gone downhill fast! Used to be so good now everything has turned into a soggy mess! I ordered my food 15 min after they opened at 4 so there really should be no reason why the food is this greasy and soggy. 1. Our tacos came out smashed since they were out at the bottom and burrito was on top. 2. Meat has no flavor 3. Al pastor looks and tasted like they got it from the Mercado across the parking lot and burnt it. 4. Chicharrón burrito was big I'll give me that but it was 80% rice and beans. 5. Green salsa was bland. Needs salt 6. Agua de Pepino (cucumber water) tasted like it was all sugar. Should have just got a jarrito instead. The food was amazing! We seen an Instagram reel and they got us with all the amazing looking food. The service was quick even though the line was huge. They got everyone taken care of pretty quick. They're located in the parking lot of the Vecinos Supermercado so there is a decent amount of parking lot and street parking. There was a line when I arrived but it moved quick and they got orders out surprisingly fast and spoke good English. HEADS UP - if you order your items with everything on them (onions, cilantro and salsa), they WILL be spicy and have a kick to them. I tolerate spicy well and these still packed some pretty decent heat. I recommend asking for no salsa if you aren't a fan of spicy food. The prices seemed very reasonable compared to most other food trucks; My four items were under $20! Now for the food! I saw a chile relleno burrito WITH carne asada on the menu but they were fresh out of chile rellenos. Sad day because this sounded incredible. The sope was hearty and the al pastor meat was wonderful. The quesatacos were delicious and fried to perfection. The burrito I ordered was a very generous size, and all of the flavors were on point! I've always loved coming here. My daughter and I love this taco spot! BUT the past two times we've been here hasn't been the best experience. The first time we came we went to order and the lady didn't even welcome me. I literally got stared at until I said can I order. Then when I got my food I asked the girl if I could have some green salsa since they have been keeping it in the back. She then proceeded to tell me they had none. I said ok and proceeded to get chips and the red salsa that was available. Until I heard a guy who was called to get his food ask for the green salsa and SHE GAVE HIM SOME. I then went up to where they give the food out and told the girl that I asked for the salsa she just handed the guy but told me she had none. She then proceeded to talk to her coworker in Spanish (which I completely speak and understand) and she said she only had one left. At that point I was already upset and irritated. THEN leading up to today my daughter and I went around 4 and again got the worst service. The guy at the front didn't greet us. Looked completely irritated when i ordered. I even though my daughter was excited to give them a tip (which he didn't even say thank you) anyways we ordered EIGHT tacos. When I asked for the green salsa AGAIN because they keep it in the back I got a disgusted look and they legit barely filled them. I have always loved coming here and have been a loyal customer . We ordered pastor taco (which they forgot), and a few quesotacos (1 barbacoa, 1 asada, and 1 chupacabra). The menu doesn't say what chupacabra is. The tacos were really greasy and also mushy at the same time. The meat was bland and the consome. Oh the consome, I was so sad. That's what I wanted the most. It tasted like nothing. Just a little cup of meat colored grease. I have been looking for a good consome so if someone can tell me where one is please tell me !
