I was at Topa Topa and this truck was there. I would say it is a solid 3.5. I ordered the taco plate which comes with 3 tacos. I got Asada. The meat was a bit salty and the salsas, I did not love. I am picky though being Mexican I know how I like my salsas. Service was ok. My friends ordered a pastor quesadilla and chicken nachos. They seem to like their plates. I ate at this place once a while back and the food is honestly just whatever. But more importantly this place is scandalous they pull up to breweries and try to take advantage of drunk people. (STORY TIME) they were at TOPATOPA brewery I was obviously pretty drunk. I ordered the meat lovers nachos which clearly said $15 I ended up getting charged 20 and at first I thought maybe it was taxes and again I was pretty faded.. then I came to my senses and said nope and I asked him why I'm getting charged 20 instead of 15 he said (that's the price) I said well your sign says different. And then he said well the sign is wrong..so your listed prices are wrong?? Lol nah they were trying to pull a fast one. Anyway I asked for a refund and still haven't gotten my 20 bucks back in my account even though I asked four or five times "are you sure the refund is going back to my card" I recommend staying far away from this place and just ordering DoorDash instead. It was delicious authentic Mexican food which was prepared/cooked fresh onsite! They catered our event for over 100 people of quite a few nationalities. Everyone loved it and I didn't hear a single complaints. We ordered three types of tacos; Al pastor, carne asada, and Pollo, beans, rice, salad, and all the condiments (salsas, guacamole, onions, cilantro, fresh grilled yellow peppers, etc). The price even included the agua frescas! They made the best horchata and cucumber limeade I've ever had! Very reasonable pricing and it didn't feel like we were being nice and dimed. The taste is truly AUTHENTIC like my momma made it (I think the secret ingredient is love).... the rice is SO GOOD makes me want to cry because I want to keep eating it and I don't have any in front of me at the moment.
