Ordered the Banana Matcha, Super Passionfruit, and House Bobo--and wow, everything was delicious! The Banana Matcha was recommended by the staff member, who was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly knew his drinks. It ended up being such a treat and definitely my favorite of the three. The ambiance was also beautiful. I especially loved the flower wall design!! it made the space feel so inviting and perfect for photos. I'll definitely be coming back again!

Chakaa has been one of my favorite spots since they opened, particularly due to the strawberry cheezo and strawberry green tea drinks with the pieces of strawberry at the bottom of the drink. I was very disappointed when I returned yesterday to discover no strawberry pieces in my strawberry cheezo :( although the drink was still delicious, it made it much less special for me and I am not as likely to go out of my way for this, especially at almost $8. I was also a bit disappointed that the usually friendly and cheerful staff did not feel warm at all in greeting me or in their interactions. I was also surprised by how warm it was inside, too warm for me to comfortably stay there if I wanted to - you expect a place like this to be cool inside, not warm. I hate to deduct a star and still think the drinks are delicious, but I hope they go back to adding the strawberry pieces at the bottom of the drinks rather than blending them all into it.

One of my favorite Boba shops in the 805 area. I love their unique flavor combinations as well as the crushed fruit and some of their drinks. I wish they had lactose free milk because I am lactose intolerance but otherwise I love this space. I come here a lot to study and they play a lot of k pop music. I love how there is also rewards program.

Located at the Esplanade Shopping center. Busy area so parking might be difficult unless you don't care about walking towards the parking for the other stores. Clean space, friendly stuff. Delicious combinations of tea creations. My only issues are the hours. I want my tea/smoothie early in the morning and they don't open until 11:30 am.

Chakaa has become our favorite boba spot . We often order large fam orders . The Viet coffee is a fave for sure for shhuurree ! Space is large and nicely kept. Love the music that is often playing. They don't post often on insta or advertise much but it has quickly become a local favorite. Per Yelp it is a top place to drink. My fam used to order from Boba Time but once I turned them into Chakaa , they have never looked back !

I ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee w/cheezo to go. It was made fast, came in a cup that was solid and felt very durable. Seemed affordable and tasted really good. The shop was very clean and the drink was also explained to me. I didn't know how the straw was put in. And I was shown that as well. It was a bit hard for me to see from the car. But it might just be my vision. I think it's worth trying.

Chakaa Tea House is such a great specialty drink and tea shop popping up around the 805. I've regularly frequented their Newbury Park / Thousand Oaks location but today was my first chance to try their Oxnard location. Parking was easy as this shop is away from the larger retail stores. When I came on a Friday afternoon there were plenty of parking spots. Tucked in the corner it could be a little hard for people to see them off the busy road and if you are driving fast around this shopping center. I honestly think that's what took me so long to try this location, as it's just not easily visible. At least the store itself is super cute and welcoming just like their other franchises. Inside was very clean and spacious. I liked that the table and seating areas are spread out throughout the restaurant and aren't all just clumped together on one side. This allows for a lot of privacy and this could be a good spot to sit and get some work done. The gal that took my order was nice and helpful. I'm only sorry I didn't think to ask for her name. But she was very quick to get my order taken and drink made. I appreciated that she wanted to ensure I got my rewards points and was engaging. Nice people work here! My peach oolong iced tea with cheezo foam was fantastic. This is usually my go to so I knew it wouldn't disappoint. This location is a good one, definitely worth stopping in if you are craving something refreshing to drink like smoothies and fruit teas.

Support local business. Located old Starbucks store in the Esplanade shopping center. Friendly peeps. Cute Asian decor. A lil disappointed that they didn't have a blended taro drink.

Nice ambience, lots of seating especially for sitting down and getting work done. Service was kind and helpful with recommendations. Ordered 2 Drinks and they came out in less than 8 minutes. Foosball table while waiting. A bit hidden behind L&L Hawaiian BBQ.

Cute new place (at least for me). Cute place. The young ladies who took our orders were very helpful. The teas are refreshing and delish!

It's a cute little business tucked in the corner of the outdoor shopping mall. The service was quick and the cashier answered any questions I had. Where do I start with my boba drink?! Wow, they use real taro. Who knew milk and taro taste good together. Make sure you mix it completely before drinking it! I would recommended this place to everyone.

It's Sawtelle-level good boba! Their tea is delightfully strong. I highly recommend the Cheezo drinks.

And let me tell you, when you're heading to an island for kayaking and hiking, securing food starts to feel less like lunch planning and more like wilderness survival strategy. The online ordering process, though, gave my husband a minor technological character-building experience. Not especially intuitive or user friendly. Then, on the morning of the trip, we weren't entirely sure where the lunches would actually appear. Tiny scavenger hunt energy. Thankfully, they were waiting for us at the ferry office, and we both immediately took the same relieved breath: "Excellent. We shall not perish on the island." The sandwiches themselves were genuinely delicious. I had the Caprese, my husband had the turkey baguette, and both were fresh, flavorful, and substantial enough to fuel actual adventure instead of just delaying hunger by 20 minutes. Each lunch box also came with chips, Fuji water, and a chocolate chip cookie that quietly stole the show. Soft, delicious, and exactly the kind of reward you want after hauling yourself around an island pretending you're far more athletic than you really are. By the time lunch was over, I was happy, full, and fully prepared for the next round of kayaking and hiking. Which is really the highest compliment an adventure lunch can get.

Ordered coffee and took our goods down the street to watch the seals. Only ordered the drip coffee, nothing fancy here, but it was excellent. Good roast on the darker side, my only concern are the lids. Hot coffee filled to the top and as I lift my coffee the lid pops off sprinkling coffee as I tried to reach the counter to set it down. The lid didn't fit tight, so I asked for another lid. It stayed on as I walked to my table, but popped off again as I left. The strawberry custard croissant was flaky, smooshy and the berry itself was a marvel of ripeness and color. If you read my other reviews, I have a thing for chocolate croissants. This one was flaky and perfect looking and the honey on the shell made the layers of laminated dough even better. My first few bites were non-chocolate filled and filled with air pockets between the layers of dough. Once I reached the thin layer of chocolate, it was underwhelming. I may have to go back again and give it one more try.
