Absolutely love this pink trailer with the best lattes around! We love trying the delicious and unique flavors. Erika and her family are always so welcoming and very friendly. I found them on instagram and now am totally hooked. We recommend the drinks from here to all our friends and family. They have us hooked and love to see them get their recognition on some of the best drinks around. They post their hours and day open on the instagram page. Not only does Erika have a great menu she also does seasonal drinks and with all the little details you can see the love in their craft. Our favorite coffee in the 805!

Erika the owner of Ohlala cafecito is the sweetest! She crafts her coffees to not only look cute but to taste delicious. She has various different flavors and is always changing her menu to the current holiday. She allows for you to order ahead through DM and will give you a pick up time. Be prepared to wait if you are walking up to order in person, but I promise you it's worth it.

Heard about this pop turned mobile coffee cart and had to stop in at their first outting in Oxnard. The trailer is a small yet mighty vehicle pumping out some tasty drinks that can rival the biggest locations. The beauty of social media and the hype on certain products is the fact that talented people are able to recreate the same items without having to travel far and wide. We opted to get their Disney inspired flight which had 4 of their specialty coffee drinks topped with cereals! Hands down my favorite was the tres leches with Cinnamon Toast Crunch on top. It was legit like drinking cereal milk! If you like your coffee drinks sweet this is the spot it's sweet so be prepared for that! All in all a fun little stop.

I also like that they have a regularly changing location for their truck that they post to their instagram.

There are no fancy contracts, no drama, and no surprises--just a handshake, a date, and a headcount. I tell Wayne when we're eating and how many mouths we need to feed, and he shows up on time, fully prepared, and ready to deliver. That kind of reliability is rare, and it means everything when you're feeding a large group. The food is consistently excellent, the service is smooth, and the whole operation reflects pride, experience, and family values. You can tell this is a family-owned business that genuinely cares about doing things right. When you find people you can trust completely, you stick with them--and that's exactly why we'll continue to use It's in the Sauce for future reunions. Highly recommended without hesitation.

An amazing spot to grab some BBQ in Oxnard. This spot is unassuming and what appears to be in a…read morebusiness area of town away from foot traffic. We probably wouldn't have dropped by it if someone hadn't told us about it. The staff was kind, friendly, and gave suggestions when we asked questions about the various meat options. The cash register is right straight in as you walk in. There are communal benches outside and a few high top tables inside, but the restaurant seemed to get a lot of pick up orders. Food came out within 5 minutes on a Saturday at lunch, which I was weary about since it's BBQ - but everything ended up still being hot and juicy. We ended up going with the 3-meat plate for about $30 total. It was enough for 2 people (or 1 really hungry person!). We ordered the brisket, burnt ends, and hot links which came with garlic bread and two sides of our choice - the star of the show was for sure the burnt ends, which were juicy and deeply flavorful. The brisket was moist, which I feel like is hard to find, but I do wish it had more flavor. The hot links were also good but didn't have much nuance either. Next time, we'll definitely save room to try some dessert, which was only $5! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out!

I waited all my food truck life for this moment…read more.. I attended the Camarillo Ranch, Food Truck Event today. First day they had this since, COVID. The event was great. A lot of people! What was the problem? This food truck had about five people in line. All the other trucks had +20 in line. I thought I scored because, there was no line. Seriously, I was waiting for this precious foodie moment... The food was gross! Steak was like dinosaur meat thick and with fat. That baby THICK!!! I couldn't even chew it. I went to the shrimp and it was not made with love. The shrimp was over seasoned and it had the same seasoning as the rice! The veggies had no flavor and were thin and no flavor. I guess, I couldn't tell because I still had that yucky seasoning in my mouth. A true disappointment. Ya'll save your $30 and try another truck!

Such a great idea to have hibachi on a food truck!…read more Hands down food is always fire. Chef Palmer and his team do a wonderful job. I will say if you asked me to review this last year , I would of dropped the stars. There was 2 incidents I was not happy with, 1 was when the food truck was at the brewery. During this time, we had a female worker take our order, not sure if she was a gf of the chef at the time (from what transpired) or a worker. She was nice, no issue at all from her assisting us but we went inside the brewery to come back out 30 minutes later expecting our food to be close to being ready and the truck was closing up and ready to drive off. We had asked the cook, not sure of his name. He was very nice but we were disappointed, he had told us "he didn't have our order and wasn't aware we even placed one and asked for a receipt and who took our order." We explained what happened, and we could hear him and the female employee have a small disagreement about the order. We were refunded and were told it was a miscommunication. We were pretty upset at this point and chose not to come back for a while, we came back again 1 more time and again, had issues with service and food was not how it usually was. I will be honest, we took a few months of a break from visiting. Fast forward to now and recently since then (previous comment) we now come at least once or twice a month. It is our go to spot when we want a night of hibachi but don't get home till late from our sons soccer activities. The food truck being open late is perfect for those nights. Each and every time food has made up for the incident last year and has always been BOMB. The variety of the menu has expanded since it has opened, each and every item has been great. Our go to favorites are the steak and lobster combo plate, garlic noodles and the hibachi burrito or fries. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. We have been coming since the food truck first started and have loved to watch it grow and will continue to support these local 805 businesses who definitely deserve it. Highly recommended, if you see this food truck and the line is long ,I promise you it is worth it!
