My absolute favorite smoothie place. These are smoothies that I cannot replicate and home. They are creamy and delicious and have such unique flavors that always deliver. I don't feel like it's a sugar bomb either and always feel good and healthy after eating. Such a beautiful ambiance, friendly staff, and genuine caring owners, plus healthy ingredients. Edenic makes unique smoothies that are delicious. All the employees I've interacted with are friendly & polite and the ambiance of the place is quaint. The two quibbles I have, and they are minor ones that don't deter me from going there, are there is only one size (16 oz) offered for their smoothies and their prices are a bit expensive. On an FYI note, my favorite smoothies there are the Bonito Buzz, Nolstalgia, The Countess and Big Ole Blue. It is also worth mentioning that the two sandwiches they offer, one with chicken & pesto, the other with beef & sun-dried tomatoes, are really good. read more

Stopped in on lunch break for a friend and myself. The consensus is YES you should come here! I had the Seasonal drink Key Lime. Good flavor and refreshing. The coconut flakes were interesting and not my cup of tea. I think I'll opt out of the flakes next time, texture thing. The drink was great though! The CA Poppy has a nice orange flavor and super refreshing. Bonus that it has protein in it! Service was quick and friendly. Menu has two sandwiches listed and they sounded great, mental note to try those! Cute spot with nice seating inside. Family owned. So glad I finally stopped in here! The space itself is absolutely beautiful and everyone is very friendly. The smoothie selection is fantastic - I love that they aren't full of of sherbets and high sugar juice mixes like many of the other places. I have only tried the seaster so far, but really enjoyed that. The main draw for me coming here was actually their paninis - when I heard about the tri tip panini with apricot jam and goat cheese, I felt like this was a sandwich made just for me and it did NOT disappoint. Absolute BEST smoothies in Ventura County! I've made occasional stops here for a little while now. My first visit was over three years ago when they were just a smoothie bus :) The interior feels like a cozy, well-loved home. Great place to chill or work/study. Every worker I've met has been incredibly nice and welcoming! My favorites are the Dawn Patrol and the California Poppy, but I've liked every smoothie I've ordered here. While I have been a Ventura local for 14+ years, I didn't even know this place existed until a couple of months ago. A friend recommended it for delicious, organic smoothies and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Big Ole Blue since I adore coconut and she ordered CA Poppy. Both were delicious! Definitely a splurge for me at $11 each and so even though it was excellent, I won't be indulging often. We were helped quickly but did have to wait about 10 minutes for our smoothies and there was a line of five behind us waiting patiently. Don't come if you are in a hurry because this is SLOW food, made fresh on order. The atmosphere is so charming with echos of Eden in the pale mint door, evergreen velvet seat cushions, emerald countertops and green accents throughout. A touch of whimsy and warmth is felt with the paintings, light fixtures and floral motif wallpaper. Such a cute and cozy place! So many things stood out to me my first time trying Edenic. The first one being how friendly and kind the staff was. They were quick to ask if I've ever been in and were so grateful of my business. I felt comfortable asking questions and they readily gave me their WiFi without me asking. I actually really appreciate that because as a remote worker, I don't always feel welcome in businesses. I ended up ordering the California Poppy and it was incredible! I popped in here never knowing that this place existed but I was happy to try the smoothie. It was okay. I didn't really like the consistency and the flavor was okay. The first time I got a smoothie from Edenic was when they posted up with their cute blue bus at the Mujeres Market in Santa Barbara. When I learned they got a store front just ten minutes from where my boyfriend lives, I knew I had to try them again! My boyfriend ordered the green smoothie while I got the countess. He also wanted to get something to munch on so we got the chicken sandwich heated up. I've never actually tried the "Hailey Bieber smoothie" from Erewhon but have heard about it many times on Instagram. I mention it because The Countess caught my attention as it had many of the same ingredients, so I figured it was Edenic's version of that smoothie. It was sooooo good. It was really fruity and sweet but not too sweet. My boyfriend also thought it was really good. The green smoothie is really tasty and you feel healthy since it's green haha. The sandwich was super delicious. It had havarti cheese, chicken, aioli, and some greens. The bread was crunchy and it had great flavor. The inside of the shop was really cute. Definitely a bit of a vintage feel with some of the decorations and furniture. The staff we interacted with was really nice and ultimately I'm really happy with my experience. I cannot stress enough how much of a hidden gem this place is. Everyone should come to Edenic at least once, and enjoy it for themselves. The first time I came here, I was very much blown away! Inside, it very vintage-y, there is soft indie music in the background. The WiFi is also available, so it also gives a coffee shop feel, too. The service is quick and fairly friendly. They are very open to describing the menu and such. I got the Seaster and Zach's smoothie. Our smoothies were so good! I think my personal favorite was the Zach's, it tastes like a Reese's, and I am a huge peanut butter girl! My sister, on the other hand, LOVED the Seaster, it was refreshing and very tropical. My mom also got the Wayne's Sando, it was delicious, I love the complimentary jam inside. It was also given to us warm, which was a nice perk. We had a chat with the owner, he is super kind and friendly, and truly makes you feel special and concerned that you have a positive experience! One thing...the smoothistas were VERY loud in the kitchen...giggling, talking loudly, etc., making it a bit difficult to study! Creamy strawberry, avocado, banana, dates, collagen, and more, I felt so nourished after. I can't wait to try one of the PB/chocolate smoothies next. They had two paninis on the menu - I ordered the ventura county fair original (chicken, havarti, pesto, arugula, sun dried tomatoes, chipotle aioli) and it was toasted to perfection and FLAVORFUL. When the sandwich was brought out, my initial reaction was "it's small! I'm starving!". I definitely misjudged because it was packed with goodness and REALLY filling. Next time I will ask for the panini cut in half. This place is decorated beautifully. I loved the natural light, the dark wood accents and marble, vintage wallpaper...I could have sat here all day. It was really peaceful. It's located on main street and there's usually not a ton of parking out front but you can park on any residential street and walk on over. It's a pressed ciabatta with chicken breast, havarti cheese, pesto, sun dried tomatoes, and arugula. I was pleasantly surprised by how juicy the chicken meat was and how well it paired with the pesto and excellently toasted bread. I do wish they made the sandwich more substantial as it is on the smaller side. More important to me however is the minimal amount of arugula and tomatoes included. I think just a little more of each would brighten up the sandwich and add some textural contrast to this otherwise very moist and melty sandwich. The smoothies look great and I'll be sure to try them when I stop by next! The interior is very cute and quiet, reminding me of my grandmother's living room. We recently purchased two of their smoothies and 2 different sandwiches. It is so hard to find any good organic food stores in Ventura County. We were hoping for the best. Something was off about the smoothies. They seemed to be watered down and not rich in flavor. We make smoothies at home but have been unable to do so because of kitchen construction. We do not know how their smoothie can taste so off when using organic ingredients. The service is great; the staff is very friendly. The owners need to check up on the store. Something is not right with their smoothie's texture and taste, there certainly is no "nutrient-density" quality to the taste as a previous reviewer mentioned. The beef sandwich was made with stringy meat. The chicken sandwich was the best of the two sandwiches. We will try one more time, at a later date, and hopefully, the smoothies will improve. They do not need a lot of change; however, it our opinion that these recipes do need to be tweaked. read more
