This is a true no-frills donut shop. Nothing fancy, just classic donuts done right, which I honestly love. You order directly at the window, making it a quick, grab-and-go type of spot. My go-to is the chocolate French cruller: light, airy, and perfectly balanced. Everything is fresh and the prices are great. The owners are friendly, efficient, and clearly know what they're doing. They're located on a busy street, so street parking availability really depends on the day and time, but it's usually manageable. Their hours can vary, they sometimes stay open later or close early if they sell out (which happens for a reason). A neighborhood staple and absolutely worth stopping for if you're in the area. read more

I have been coming to this donut shop for years. It is a local spot on the Avenue that everyone has been to. They open up very early and are even open at night. They always make everything fresh there and most times you do need to come early to get your picks because they run out quick. My favorite thing here is their bagels, they are so good and have lots of options. I was just here today and noticed they updated to digital screen menus which is a great addition because they organized everything with prices! They also make great smoothies with so many flavors to pick from. They are always very friendly and it is a cute little shop. read more

The shop has gone downhill since it was sold last year (2025). The selection has been reduced, they do not have enough donuts to go around of all varieties. The donuts are no longer "tasty" as all that can be tasted is the lard they are fried in and for the entire day that you eat one! They have also gone way up on their pricing for a less than acceptable product. This shop is no longer a place we will go to for a nice fresh donut. read more

Unfortunately I'm never able to take a photo of my ham egg and cheese breakfast croissant because I'm in a rush. But woah, I crave this sandwich. Yea it may have a lot of Mayo and a lot of ham in it, but that's part of what makes it good. After the egg and white American cheese and beautiful croissant of course. The iced coffee is pretty good too, strong and sweet. 100% get the ham egg and cheese on a croissant- you won't be disappointed. The hours here seem to be funny because they'll close early if they sell out of donuts which makes total sense. This spot has been a staple of the Ave for years and will continue to do so. Well another beautiful place that gets ruined by the new owners. Gone is the wonderful service that used to be one of r reasons to keep coming back. No one greeted us or attempted to take our order. The menu boards have been changed and doesn't reflect the entire menu. We asked the woman behind the counter if they still make the breakfast sandwiches. Without answering she handed us a breakfast menu card. We asked if they had new owners but again she didn't answer. We went ahead and order our sandwiches. What a disappointment. Gone are the scrumptious sandwiches of the past. These were served on a gummy, untoasted bagel. All the ingredients were on one side to the sandwich and the one ordered with jalapeno was wet with the juice and well over at the very least 20 slices of jalapeños as if they were just dumped out of the jar. I'm very saddened to lose yet another beautifully delicious place to owners who don't care about quality. read more

Just going to say it, the BEST donuts shop in Ventura. This cute quaint shop minutes from downtown Main Street. A family own shop that offers freshly made donuts , sandwiches, smoothies and great coffee drinks. The donuts are made fresh daily so you know that whatever you have is fresh. Not like other shops that will offer day old item as fresh. This place is legit amazing. The breakfast croissant sandwiches are amazing. Huge portion and very reasonable. Their cold drinks are great as well. Everything made to order. Staff are the sweetest which keeps the locals coming back for more. Today, there was line which is pretty normal. It does move fast. I am big into donuts - I hit an old school donut spot everywhere I go and this did not dissapoint. Absolutely stellar. I drove up from Malibu for it and will be back! This is the place for you if you like old school donuts, no fancy frostings here. Amazing donut shop with extremely friendly staff. Located across the street from our AirBnB, it provided us the perfect breakfast for our stay in Ventura. Cheap and delicious, their donuts were hands down one of the best donuts we have ever had. We got the old fashion glazed, regular sugar, regular glazed, maple bar, and 2 croissant sandwiches. The owner gave us free donut holes when he saw that we were from out of town. Cannot beat that kind of friendliness. The donuts and the holes were airy, light, and fluffy. The power couple that runs the establishment are fun, friendly and upstanding, working around the clock to provide Ventura with fresh doughy delights. We frequent the shop biweekly hoping to spot the cinnamon twist and buttermilk buns in the window. To be picky their coffee could use a consult and the apple fritter more crisp, but I'm not sure I would change a thing if I could. The prices are completely reasonable, the hours forgiving and if they ever closed we would probably move. read more

A very good donut shop; they'll make you a donut with filling to order. The Cake donuts with peanuts are tasty as are their tiger tails, cinnamon rolls and glazed raised. I've not tried their muffins or croissants because I think they get those from somewhere else. But, all the donuts are top notch, people are very friendly and accommodating.
