Called this place 7 times knowing they were still open. No response, arrived to the actual location and all employees were in the back looking bothered that the door was opened. I was then asked if i was there to get a torta. When answered yes their response was "we don't have any" I asked, what do you have then? their response was coctel and tostadas with an attitude. Let them know I had been calling and the least they could do is pick up and let the customer know that to avoid a drive. Employee just rolled her eyes and did not say anything after that. They have amazing tortas, my favorite one is milanesa, you cannot go wrong ordering a shrimp cocktail and who can say no to the tasty shake!

By far the best torta I've had in awhile! This is the real deal authentic way a torta should be made. The bread was fresh, soft, and toasted perfectly on a panini press. My choice was carne asada and it was loaded with meat, lettuce, jalapeños, tomatoes, avocado, and mayo it was worth $8! My mom had the pork torta and she loved hers too. We both could only finish half since the size was huge, but I was glad to take some home for dinner. If you have a hearty appetite then you won't leave disappointed. This place is located in the heart of Oxnard so it's a longer drive to get there but well worth it. I wanted to try one of their fresh juices but the prices were pretty steep. Starting at close to $7 for just horchata alone was a shocker! I never seen horchata priced so high. That's crazy if you ask me! I placed a phone order, hesitantly, as my last phone order a few years ago was also a bad experience. I arrived and was ready to pay. I got out my money, handed it to the cashier and she asked me if I had another $20. I didn't. She refused to take my bill because it was slightly torn. I told her I didn't have another bill. And it was a good bill. She pointed to the counterfeit bills on the wall and told me she couldn't take it. I told her it wasn't a fake bill it was a real bill. She showed the cook and he said no. She showed the other girl there and she also said no. They then asked if I had a card I could use. Of course I did, but I shouldn't be forced to use my card when I had cash and opted to use cash. I used to come here often and my go to has always been the milanesa torta and I went recently and it felt smaller they used to pack it with veggies(lettuce,tomato's and a lot of avocado and jalapeños) this time it felt like it had a little piece of everything and it came out to 16 for that and a coke again it used to be worth it but the sizes seem to have gotten smaller I gave it three stars because it was still good but wasn't worth the price at all read more

Shopping center w/ front parking. Folks here are really nice and polite. Like calling in order. Don't like that they're still using styrofoam cups for their 2-go juice. Overpriced, and not even worth the money, barely put any avocado on an AVOCADO SANDWICH. Unbelievable no wonder no one was in there.
