Hello, I purchased an asada torta from your restaurant, and while eating it I almost broke my tooth because there was a hard object inside (please see attached photo). I called to let you know so that more care could be taken in food preparation, but unfortunately the response I received was dismissive. The employee told me it was part of the avocado, which it clearly was not. I am very disappointed with this experience. Please take this seriously to prevent this from happening to other customers.

I had not been there in a good while. Inflation has cause the prices to go up and up. The torta was Ok, I wish they would have added some more avocado.

I love how a jungle juice has a wide variety of different types of tortas and smoothies. Both the torta and the smoothie came out within three minutes of placing the order which is insanely quick. For both the torta and the smoothie, they came out to about $23.

This place is delicious and worth the 1.5 hrs from where we live.

This is hands down the best seafood spot in Oxnard and Ventura County. Don't argue with me... The fried fish is incredible, always fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Their clam chowder is delicious too! Yes, it can be a little pricey, but please do not sleep on this restaurant. The quality, freshness, and taste make it well worth it. The customer service is always good, and I love when they have live music playing. We visit often whenever we're at the beach, and another huge bonus is that it's pet-friendly, so our fur babies can relax outside with us. The location is beautiful, with amazing views right along the beach that make the dining experience even better. They offer a great variety of options, and honestly, everything we've ordered has been consistently amazing. The food always comes out hot, fresh, and delicious. We keep coming back for a reason. Between the incredible seafood, friendly atmosphere, beautiful beach views, and pet-friendly outdoor seating, this place is a must-visit if you're in the area!

4/5 Surfside Seafood…read morehas a beautiful waterfront location with relaxing harbor views that make for a great dining atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, and the staff was courteous during our visit. The seafood was fresh and flavorful, but I personally felt the portions were on the smaller side for the price. While the quality was good, I left still feeling hungry and wasn't convinced the value matched the cost. If you're deciding between nearby seafood restaurants, I still prefer Andria's Seafood Restaurant & Market at Ventura Harbor because I feel the portions are more satisfying for the money. One small area that could be improved is the availability of condiments and napkins, which seemed to be rationed more than expected. Overall, if you're looking for fresh seafood with a scenic harbor view, Surfside Seafood is worth trying. Just be prepared for higher prices and lighter portions. I hope they consider increasing portion sizes or improving the value, as that would easily make this a five-star experience. Food: Service: Atmosphere:

I think a lot of people grab to go because we were the only guests for the longest. The chef came out and didn't speak much English but was so excited to let us know he was happy to cook for us. I was craving a burrito but only saw their breakfast burrito on the menu which is all day. Then I just wanted to ask just in case if they had any other burritos and good thing I asked because she said yes! They have a grilled or fried fish or shrimp burrito, crab and lobster burrito, and another one I don't recall. She even said they have burritos but they're not on the menu so I'm glad I asked. I was about to get the fish tacos but went with the fried fish burrito which came with salsa and chips. Honestly, the burrito was so bland. It only tasted good with salsa and the tartar sauce that came with my fiancés order. My fiancé ordered the halibut with fried zuchini and this cheesy garlic bread and clam chowder. Out of everything, the clam chowder and the cheesy garlic bread were the best. The halibut tasted very fresh. The fried zuchini was also bland. It came with cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. I ordered the Blackened Shrimp Tacos with Flour Tortillas and this came with chips and a little cup of salsa. The taco's appeared to be huge. They had a tiny bit of a Chipotle sauce on a huge amount of lettuce. The shrimp was blackened and cooked perfectly. Unfortunately there was so much lettuce the shrimp was totally hidden. I also ordered a side of fries and a cup of from what I was told the first place winner in recent clam festival. I love clam chowder and was hoping it would be great. Unfortunately it fell short. The chowder was piping hot but unfortunately it was flavorless and was lacking clams. Which for me should at least be in every bite. The fries were huge and seasoned with a seasoning salt. When we come back we will give them a seconded chance. Maybe the chowder was off because of it being a new pot and or new cook.
