Not too sweet, so we can savor the original flavor we wanted, and much healthier. The shop has plenty of both inside and outside seatings. Interior decor is modern and artistic. AC is on. Service is fast. Prices are very reasonable. Our party of four, two kids two moms, were very happy. You can also take to go order and just eat it on the beach or on your stroll in the walkways of the harbor. Soak in the sun the ocean breezes and enjoy the best Southern California has to offer!

My issue is that all of our hot chocolate felt very light and when we took the lid off to check it out they mostly filled it up with whip cream!!!! They rushed it and stole money out our pockets by not filling up all 5 cups. It was a waste !!!! Then the hot chocolate that they serve wasn't even anything to be screaming about. The local 711 hot chocolate is better. Just a shame that they would do that to people bc they're busy. Never right. The picture doesn't even show how much more was missing under that whip cream. Also it wasn't even hot more like warm temp

Undoubtedly, they are the best funnel truck business in town! First and foremost, the variety of flavors and topping options at Jimbo's is unparalleled. The menu is not only extensive but also crafted with creativity and attention to detail. For my son's birthday party, they went above and beyond by customizing the menu to match the theme perfectly. The balloon arch they created added an extra touch of magic, leaving both the kids and adults in awe. The attention to detail truly made the celebration memorable. What sets Jimbo's apart, is their exceptional customer service. From the moment I inquired about their services to the day of the event, their team is kind, professional, and have a genuine passion for making our celebration special. Their friendly staff ensured that every guest felt valued no matter how indecsive people were on what toppings they wanted lol. Beyond private events, Jimbo's has been our go-to dessert option on regular nights. Their funnel cakes are not only the perfect after-dinner sweet treat but also satisfy any craving my kids and I might have. Spotting them at local community events, farmers markets, and school gatherings has become a delightful tradition for us. Their consistent presence in these settings speaks volumes about their popularity. Jimbo's is definitely a foodie/ post worthy experience too that brings joy to any occasion. they have earned their spot as the best in town! you won't be disappointed!

Their menu had a handful of options but unfortunately they were only doing a limited choice of 8" cakes with topping choice and sadly they had no whipped cream. The cake was hot fresh and had great flavor. The strawberries were fresh on top with the powdered sugar for a nice finish. I wish they had the small 3 pack so we could have mixed up the toppings and flavors but it was still good and was fast and fresh.

This week's box had coconut passionfruit lime, strawberry lemon meringue and banana cream. Truly cannot choose a favorite, these were three of the most beautiful, bursting with flavor slices of pie I have ever had. I don't even know if I liked pie before this order, but now it might be my favorite dessert!? These slices are high-end, decadent desserts that are well worth it. It's clear that Skylar is passionate about her pies and is so, so talented. Cannot wait to place my next order!

Skylar posted her pies for the week on Wednesday on her Instagram account, and I was able to purchase a pie slice box (3 different slices for $35) for pick up in Ventura on Sunday. This week's pies were strawberry cream, lemon with meringue, and coconut cream. They were all beautifully decorated and baked to perfection. The coconut cream was my favorite because it had a salty crust that paired well with the sweet coconut. But honestly, they were all so delicious! I will definitely be re-ordering more of these pie slices soon. They were worth every penny.

Went with the classic yaki (short for taiyaki which are the Japanese fish pastries they use) and it did not disappoint. Great vanilla ice cream. The yaki had more ice cream and chocolate syrup inside. And there were nuts and rolled wafers for the toppings. Delish. Service was fast even with a small line. They have multiple cashiers, which is helpful. There are also a couple of servers who bring out the orders, so it was just super efficient. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area. There are so many different flavor combos to try!

Dear Hubby and I were at Ventura Harbor Village last Sunday to get a break from the inland heat,…read moreand just to hang out for a while. After a late lunch / early dinner I was in the mood for something sweet. Specifically, I was craving a root beer float. We wandered over to Coastal Cone to see if they could help with that desire. Indeed, yes they could. In the summertime, they are busier than ever, especially on a weekend afternoon. They have a newer system for serving customers, which works pretty well, if the customer pay attention to it. They have you queue up at the door closest to the water. There, a team member directs you or your group to one of three stations inside. Each area has all of the services that you might need, whether it's just getting a cup or cone of ice cream, or ordering fancier dishes like sundaes and much more. I noticed a few reviewers saying that the ice cream is pretty basic. That might or might not be true, but what I see them emphasizing now is that they can make you specialty creations above and beyond what many ice cream shops feature. They bake their waffle cones on premises - and you can enjoy the sweet scent of the results when they come out of the oven. Heavenly! I can't enjoy cow's milk dairy any more, so vegan frozen treats are my jam. They were able to offer me a scooped vegan vanilla ice cream in a cup, with a full bottle of root beer to float away on. It was just what I wanted! A slightly larger cup would have made the experience even better / easier to eat & sip, but it worked out okay. One serving was plenty for DH and I to share. The best part was refilling the cup as we drank the root beer, then every time we added more liquid, the ice cream would foam up. That magical foamy texture is such a taste treat. It was $10, which initially seemed high, but given how long it lasted, and how two of us got to share it, it was a great value. They sure had a lot of people employed behind the counter. Like a lot. The line seemed to move pretty quickly as a result of all that staffing. One last note of pickiness. Perhaps in the off-season the owners might consider doing some deep cleaning and interior refreshing. The floors are particularly beat up and don't have that clean, fresh ice cream parlor look that might be expected. DH and I sat off to the side on the long built-in bench inside the busy shop. It has some shelf space at the back/sides, and those surfaces look like they hadn't been cleaned well in a long time. Just sayin'. While I enjoyed our root beer float, I had time to notice some of the details of the place, and those are my observations.
