This place is so dangerously good! they have all the sining Mexican style junk food we want to stay away from. They have ice cream, both water based and milk based, both delicious. They have every flavor you can think of. they also have junk food such as hot Cheetos with cheese. Tostilocos, fruit etc. it can get pretty busy at times. and It is a bit confusing to order but pretty much you just either get in line or ask any of the workers for help. It is a bit disorganized. I live for this place! My sister Melanie introduced me a few weeks ago and I can't stop coming. My favorite is the esquite and fresas con crema. They prepare the esquite from a freshly cooked corn on the cob, it comes w butter, mayo, and hot cheeto crumbs. Came here after a late Mother's Day celebration on a Tuesday. The ice cream was good but the service suck. Two people to help people?! I waited about 25/30 mins before I was even helped and the girl who was supposed to help me tried to help the person who came after me and I told her I was next and she's rolled her eyes then didn't even want to help me because I was with the other people that was already being help on the soft served ice cream vs the ice cream bar. Worst place ever!! I bought a fruit cup for 8.50 with a mix of watermelon, pineapple, mango and jicama. When I saw the fruit it looked bad but I thought maybe it's just the way it looks and just give it a try, unfortunately it wasn't, the mando was hard but I guess it's now mango season, the watermelon and pineapple tasted old and nasty you couldn't eat it. Maybe when people mix it with anything else it's not that bad but what I decided to do was go back inside and tell the two young ladies to take away the top part of the fruit and add more jicama, the place was empty and no other customers at that time but for some reason they thought I needed to be charged more or again if I did not like it. I explained once again but since they looked unhappy and making me feel as if I was asking for something for free I decided to simply give them back their terrible fruit for them to keep and left the place. I said to myself never again because of their horrible fruit and worse customer service. Everything is well priced. They also have savory snacks like a Mexican version of Frito pie. If you don't know what an item is, it's definitely worth googling or asking. There is a huge variety of Mexican ice cream flavors that you won't find in regular ice cream stores. And P.S. I am sadly addicted to this place. It can get very busy and you may have to wait outside in a long line but it's definitely worth it. All of the ice cream is made there and you can taste the freshness. My mouth is watering thinking about it. The parking is pretty good, don't know if it will change once Waba Grill opens right across the lot though. I have many favorites here. I'll try to name the top 5 1. Mangonada paleta (ice cream bar)-- it's a mix of mango and lots of chamoy. 2. Mangoneada -- I like mine with their mango sherbert (it has pieces of mango inside), with chamoy, tajin, and lime. I've also tried one scoop of lime ice cream and one of mango ice cream and that's a good alternative too. 3. Strawberry ice cream- Nothing unique about this except it's so creamy. Love it! 4. Esquite- it's the corn from the corn man off the cob in a cup with all of the fixings. I did see someone last week who had it on the cob still but I like the cup. 5. All of the other paletas with chile lol (I can't choose just one). Long story short, I've never been disappointed. Try it and you'll love it read more
