Love the several different choices of froyo here. And I'm so glad they carry the pineapple dole whip which is one of my favorites. They also have plenty of toppings to choose from. Parking can get a little tricky here at this location. You can meter park in front of the store or find a parking spot on the lot.

I don't know if I want to put the young kid on blast, but will someone please tell me why Customer Service is a lost art? Why should I be surprised that you're friendly or welcoming me into your business? Why does texting or playing games on your phone take priority over the customer who is PAYING your salary? I don't get it. I walked in this evening to an empty Menchie's but for the young employee. He was so bored it was almost laughable to me! I asked him if he happened to know how many ounces in 1/2 cup (an innocent question!) and he leaned back. Shook his head and said, "No idea" and responded with his body language that I was insane to ask that. I moved on quickly because I knew it'd be a waste. I got my froyo but decided to hang out. He had his back to me, his entire body was turned so that he could block me from seeing what he was doing. But I saw the phone. I saw the charger. Right in front of him. The froyo was OK. The Cookie Dough toppings were OK. They were out of Reese's Peanut Butter cups. (?) While I guess I'm hit and miss on yogurt places, I'm continuously impressed with UYogurt in Ventura. Drive a little ways and go there instead.

Have been wanting to try this location as it is located close to my house. The store was clean. There was plenty of mini cups on hand to try the flavors and there was a nice selection. The flavors I tried were Creme brûlée, toasted marshmallow. Dulce de leche, and vanilla snow. The one problem was that all the flavors that I wanted were low or empty. The machines were blinking and dispensing slowly. I didn't even get as much as I wanted. Oh well probably didn't need it anyway. Lol!

    Oreo cookie and stuffing...OMG

Love me some Menchies. It's happiness in a cup. I was surprised this location wasn't busier, but that just means more froyo for me! I had their oreo swirl and it was fab. I think my favorite flavor combo yet! And this location offered bananas but they were brown and yucky looking. :(

Menchies! It's difficult to compare this to all other frozen yogurt places. I've been to the Menchies out in Burbank for my first time & I wasn't very fond of it. One thing that stood out to me about this place were the original variety of flavors, toppings, & activities that can be done here. I never gave Menchies another chance until my nieces wanted frozen yogurt here. Just like every frozen yogurt place, SAMPLES! They have the dole flavor here! Oreo, Reese's pieces... all my favorite flavors! The toppings were a huge variety from fresh fruits to all sorts of candy & gummy ones. They sell Menchies gear, have a chalkboard on the side for kids to write on, & a fridge to save your pre packs for later. All in all, they label everything from allergens to calorie intake to what ingredients some contain. Very well informed yogurt place that promotes healthiness all in one. Service here can vary at several times. The workers are young & are there to charge you by the pound. Didn't encounter much with them but a simple hello & price of the cup.

Fro-yo girl here. The first Menchie's in Oxnard is now open at the Collection. They had their grand opening about six weeks ago. It's cute like a typical Menchie's and has Menchie's merchandise for sale (pencils, jewelry, lip balm, cooler bags, apparel, dodge balls and plush Menchie dolls). You can also get free Menchie's stickers and temporary tattoos. The self-serve fro-yo and toppings are 42 cents an ounce. Fresh waffle bowls are $1. The toppings include warm syrups, candy, chilled fruit, mochi, cookies, chocolate chips, cookies, brownies, nuts, coconut, sprinkles, popping boba, etc. The sample cups are placed on a tray by the fro-yo machines. Fro-yo flavors of the day: * Pure chocolate * Vanilla snow * Marshmallow * Purely tart: creamy, smooth, thick, good flavor with a sweet aftertaste though not as clean as some * Pineapple tart: creamy, not very tart, flavorful enough, not as refreshing as I had hoped * Island banana * Chocolate dipped banana * Pomegranate raspberry sorbet * Green apple sorbet * Salted caramel: very creamy, very sweet, strong caramel taste, hint of salt * Mud pie: creamy, tasted like a bad fudgsicle, didn't like * Irish mint: creamy, sweet, tasted a bit like toothpaste to me * Not available * Cake batter *Freshly shredded coconut * Barista coffee I saw a freezer for pints of fro-yo but it was empty. Earn rewards with the Smileage program. They still have the limited edition Chip spoons. I saved mine of course. You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

The Store located in a big shopping center in a good spot next to Starbucks and Whole food market. I went there around 1:30 pm, I was the only customer in the store (sweet) there are 8 Yogurt machines with 16 flavors too choose from. big selection of Toppings and Syrups. The Machines and topping area were very clean, the frozen yogurt was very good and tasty. since I had the whole store for myself I got an excellent service. Overall a very good experience and for that I give this place 5 Stars.

THANKS TO THE THREE GUYS WHO CREATED THESE AND MADE US FEEL GUILTY FOR NOT ADDING THE FRUIT TO OURS!!! Hahahhahahahaha.

Across From Marriott, Dangerously Good Saturday, May 2, 2026…read more-- approx. 9:00 PM Handel's Ice Cream Just across from the Marriott sits Handel's, an ice cream institution that traces its roots back to Youngstown, Ohio in the 1940s. Nearly 80 years later, it has apparently survived the brutal Darwinian jungle of American dessert culture by deploying the sneakiest weapon known to mankind: really good ice cream. The setup is simple and efficient: walk-up windows, outdoor seating, striped awnings, and enough blue benches to suggest they fully expect a crowd. And on a Saturday night around 9 PM, the crowd was very much present--families, couples, kids, and assorted sugar Gypsies waiting patiently for their frozen destiny. The menu is impressively large without feeling chaotic. Cones, dishes, waffle bowls, sundaes, shakes, malts, hurricanes, floats, banana splits, pints, quarts, and novelty items all make appearances. I counted roughly 47 flavors, including horchata, blueberry cobbler, pineapple sorbet, and taro, all of which I sampled because journalism is dangerous and someone had to do it. The ice cream itself has a soft, rich texture--not icy, not gummy, not pretending to be artisanal with a beard and rent control issues. The flavors tasted fresh, distinct, and genuinely fun. Horchata was creamy and cinnamon-kissed; blueberry cobbler felt dessert-within-dessert; pineapple sorbet was bright; and taro had that smooth, mellow charm. The young man helping us was friendly, patient, and just a downright good chap, which matters when customers are staring at 47 flavors like they're defusing a bomb. I'd absolutely come back. The line already knew what I was about to learn. 5/5 -- sweet, smooth, and fully legit.

I usually buy ice cream from a truck, but today I felt like going to a store, so I visited. The store's interior is classic and reflects Mr. Softee's history. Looking at the old photographs displayed in the store, you can see that Mr. Softee has been loved by people for a long time. I usually order a simple vanilla soft-serve ice cream from the truck, but since I was at the store, I decided to try something different. I had a strawberry sundae, and my friend had a warm chocolate cookie sundae. Of course, both were delicious. The ice cream here is simple and reminds me of the ice cream I had as a child. They also sell original merchandise in the store, which was really fun. It's a fun place for both children and adults. There isn't much parking space in downtown Camarillo, but I was able to find street parking this time.

A while back I read a Mister Softee review by my Yelp friend Gina. She had rented the truck for a family party and wrote about how great the experience was. That's where I got the idea. But instead of a family party, I thought it would be fun to have a party for all the kids on our street. Our street is filled with kids! I mean, the street is only like two blocks long, but there are well over twenty kids. They're out there every day, riding bikes, shooting hoops, running around without a care in the world. Good times! My Wife designed and printed up invitations, then went door to door up and down the street to personally invite everyone. She already knows pretty much everyone, so the Parents were cool with the idea. So today was the big day. I was super excited when the Mister Softee Truck pulled up and parked right in front of my house. And then the driver turned on the music. Aw yeahhhh! And that's when the kids started coming. Big kids, little kids, Parents carrying kids, so many kids. A small line formed. It was a trip watching what the kids ordered. They got to pick whatever they wanted from the menu. They could pick a Cone, a Sundae, a Shake, Ice Cream Sandwich, even a Banana Split. It cracked me up how many ordered a small cone. I mean, not even dipped. Just a plain old small cone. Such a sensible order! I loved it!!!! One little guy ordered a Root Beer Float. I was like, that would've been my order at his age too. I like how the Mister Softee Truck serves their Root Beer Floats: they give you the rest of the can of Root Beer they use to make the float. A couple kids needed a non-dairy alternative, and I was relieved that the Mister Softee Truck had some attractive options like Sno Cones or colorful frozen ice treats. Most of the kids enjoyed their treat right there next to the truck. Parents took photos of their kids and kids chased ice cream drips down their arms with their tongues, as kids do. All of the kids and their parents were super appreciative and thanked my wife and I for the party. We thanked them for coming. There were clearly a lot of happy kids on our street today, but I don't think any could've been happier than me. Thank you to my neighbors, and all the neighborhood kids Thank you Mister Softee! And most importantly, Thank You to my wonderful Wife for enthusiastically supporting my idea right from the start. Mikey C says: Oreo Swirl for me!
