outdoor seating

Rori's Ice Cream is located within what feels like a food-court style area in Old Town Camarillo, with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. The space is very kid-friendly, and the staff is genuinely kind and welcoming. They offer a great variety of unique ice cream flavors--rich, thick, soft, and full of flavor. Pricing is reasonable for the quality you're getting. I also really appreciated how clean the area was and how well the space is maintained. Parking is a bit limited, but the surrounding area is very walkable, so it's not much of an issue. Overall, a great spot to stop by, especially when exploring Old Town.

Double scoop of Honey Almond Crunch and Malted Milk Ball
Aubrey H.

I got the Honey Almond Crunch and I'm in love. Seriously, one of the best flavors I've ever had. With just enough sweetness this ice cream, is a dream topped off with honey. The malted milk ball was good too, and reminded me of whoppers. The girl behind the counter was friendly and helpful. Only downside is the price, but you do get what you pay for. Overall, I would come back and I recommend this place to anyone looking to try bold new flavors.

Brown Sugar Banana

Brown Sugar Banana tasted good! Was what I needed on a hot Sunday afternoon, maybe yourself too. Texture was smooth, creamy and not too sweet. May want to eat fast because sure enough it melted quick. Once they ice cream got to the waffle cone, the combination of the two were a compliment to each other, glad I got the cone. Texture and flavor change made the ice cream taste better imo. Service was helpful and great. Ambiance was busy as expected but plenty of seats inside and outside in the shared patio. Went with a group so enough seats were outside. Good experience and would comeback for my flavors to try.

Such great ice cream. This location is located inside the mark in Camarillo. The service was great and the ice cream was fresh and creamy. Location can get a bit busy with it being attached to a brewery and pizza place! But why not have some pizza and beer then topped off with dessert.

Came in very excited to try a different ice cream spot. The staff was very friendly and helped me out with multiple samples since they have many unique flavors. I tried coffee and salted caramel. Ice cream was very soft and didn't have the ice cream texture I expected. The consistencies were also variable. The coffee was slightly icy, but the salted caramel was nicely creamy. Unfortunately, I felt it was overpriced at $8.50 for a single scoop and was surprised to find my total being $17 for two scoops. Regardless, it was still a good hangout spot with decent indoor seating.

Great spot right in old town Camarillo! I didn't realize that Topa Topa, this ice cream place, and a pizza place were all inside on the same spot which makes this even better! You could get something from all 3 places I'd you want :) I originally tried Rori's with my family at their location on Main St in Ventura, and we were pleasantly surprised to find one closer to us in Camarillo too! The ice cream is homemade and delicious with flavors you wouldn't find elsewhere. I definitely recommend if you're looking for some good, creamy and unique ice cream!

Irish Coffee

This is your typical ice cream that is a bit more expensive but worth the price. A single scoop is around $7, but the scoops are big and the flavors are more unique. I tried black pepper pistachio, which surprisingly worked. It tastes a lot like pistachio but is a teeny bit spicy. I've had spicy ice creams before that were gross. This is not gross. I also tried the Irish Coffee flavor (special for Saint Patrick's Day) and it was pretty good. The texture was a bit spongy and bouncy. I like ice cream and this is a fun ice cream shop

Lots of ice cream (3 scoops) though not one of them being chocolate ! Still though deliciousness cures a lot of ailes
Gary B.

I love ice cream and when I learned of Rori's I made to visit as soon as possible (with my wife after a post date-night dinner ). Let me start of by saying that we wanted sundaes but since we arrived within 30 mins of closing that option wasn't available because all the components of a sundae were put away( at least according to the order taker). So my wife got a scoop of "honey almond crunch " and I got 3 scoops "honey almond crunch", "peanut butter chocolate candy swirls", and "serious dark chocolate". I wanted to taste as many different flavors as possible so that's why I ordered 3 scoops, unfortunately I never got the "serious dark chocolate"...the scooper made a mistake and while I was given 3 scoops, one of them wasn't chocolate. Over all despite the poor to faire service...it's all about the ice cream...in this case, a natural, no preservative, very simple, full of flavor ice cream. You can tell from the first bite it's different from any ice cream from any store or other scoop shops near by. The flavor, creaminess and richness speak for itself. Also, of note without preservatives the ice cream melts fast but something I easily overlooked. I'm definitely coming back so I can get a sundae and maybe I'll be a little more vocal if they get my order wrong.

Erica G.

Good but not the best. For a tiny portion (Itty bitty) it was $5.75. Service was ok. Ambiance was cool at The Mark. Glad I tried it as it was ok but not super delicious. I would not go back. Not for the price even if artisanal. Not super memorable. Missed the mark for me but may be to your liking:)

Itty bitty honey lavender

The honey lavender ice cream is wonderful! And I love that I can get an "itty bitty" cup when I just want a little something.

$10.75, crazy. Delicious but too expensive
Sarah P.

I've been going to Rori's for a while for yummy and convenient ice cream in Old Town. It's always really good and the service is good. But the prices are a now frightening. I paid $10.75 for one regular sized Cookie sandwich. The pints are also around $12-13. It's just too expensive, so I'm not sure if I can continue going back.

The team was incredibly helpful, the food was truly impeccable, and the staff were so kind and attentive throughout the entire event. We received endless compliments from our guests, the catering was genuinely one of the highlights of the night. KB, the catering manager, was on another level! We never once had to look for her, she was always right there, anticipating everything before we even had to ask. She was like a hawk in the best possible way, completely on top of every detail while still being warm and calm. Because of her, we were able to fully relax and enjoy our wedding! A true gem! They went above and beyond, and it showed in every detail. We are so grateful and will be talking about them for a long time!

My friend Kelly M. did the hard work of booking, but I was part of the host crew and thought this dinner was quite successful. We ordered a buffet for 30 adults and 35 children, which ended up feeding 41 adults and 39 children, with leftovers to spare. The total cost, including tip, was a little over $2,900. Not cheap or anything, but definitely worth it for the food and service. DJ's came and set everything up, and there was a guy on site to handle everything for a period of like five hours. I didn't get his name, but he was nice, even helping me open a can I needed desperately to open, without the use of a can opener. The service came with sugarcane plates, forks, knives, and paper napkins, and a luau-themed table covering to put under the buffet. All things we didn't have to think about. We grilled the other night of camp and this was more cost effective, but proportionately more laborious. The food was good and covered a lot of bases, so everyone had something to eat. There were dinner rolls with one thousand pats of butter, many of which I now have in my fridge, and a giant catering tray of three cheese macaroni and cheese. My children were covered with these two offerings, as were, I suspect, many others. We got two meat entrées, which were both very satisfying: traditional Hawaiian kalua pork and grilled teriyaki chicken breast with grilled Maui pineapple. An island garden salad made for a nice side, with mandarin oranges, toasted almonds, crispy wonton strips, and ginger soy vinaigrette. Kind of like Chinese chicken salad without the chicken, and therefore well matched to the chicken teriyaki. There was steamed jasmine rice too, and a tropical fruit salad. Everyone had a great time at the family luau, even if most of the kids were too excited to sit down and eat proper dinner. DJ's California Catering took care of everything (well, except childcare) so we parents could just sit back and enjoy.
