Pineapple and vanilla taste like shit it was so bad I threw it away when I walked out super sad first date

Not sure if the management has changed or what is going on here. We are regulars here (weekly) and have noticed in the last few months the choices of frozen yogurt have decreased. Lately, there's at least one station not working. Tonight three were down and one on the way out. They hardly ever have their signature flavor any more. We keep asking ourselves why we keep coming in because on top of all this, this place is pricey just for frozen yogurt. It's now over 20 bucks for two yogurts, and that's with no toppings on one. Wild Cherry is the only place to get frozen yogurt in Camarillo but I think I might have to switch to 31 flavors. read more

Wow, what was our go to for yogurt is no longer the case. Dropped in tonight to cool down and enjoy a couple of cups. No more samples, no worries, I get it. Not an extensive variety of flavors. A couple of them were runny. My girls finally came up with a small cup each. Asked for whipped cream and the student worker sighed, checked and then said they didn't have anymore. Paid our bill and probably the last time we ever go back. Two other people asked the same student for help and eventually threw their empty cups in the trash and walked away. Don't visit! I am sure they don't mind losing business....we have visited before and we were actually getting a dress altered next door. Asked to use the restroom and the employee said restrooms were for customers only. I told him we were usually but today was just stopping in to go potty with my baby and 8 yo and I had to go. Absolute Trash! No wonder the place was empty. We got three small bobas and didn't realize he charged us for large until we got out to the car. The cost did not even add up to three large bobas so I am not sure what he even charged for. The Thai tea bobas tasted like water, there was no flavor and it was supposed to be blended but was so watery. The strawberry banana was decent but way to sweet and articifical. The frozen yogurt tastes good but it isn't worth the money. They did not have any small cups so I used a medium cup. My yogurt weighed 11 oz? I did not even add any toppings. How much do their cups weigh empty? Price for 1 yogurt without toppings $8.97. Robbery! read more

Although my husband says frozen yogurt doesn't count as a dessert, I still think it does. They have am OK selection of flavors, although I've gone to places with more. I do like that they change out their flavors, and I'd rather a few really good flavors over a bunch of "meh" flavors. Their toppings bar is also really great. Tons of different fruits, candy, syrups, sprinkles, mostly anything you could think of. My main issue is that the yogurt was melty when we went. It was only 8:30-9ish, so still over an hour before closing. But I haven't gone earlier in the day. I'll have to try again and see if the consistency is better. The seating is descent. But I imagine it could fill up fast. Another thing I saw, but it was unfortunately too late, was that they have boba tea. Anyway, overall, it's a pretty nice little place. read more

When I went in there was only 2 or 3 flavors working. All others were out of order. Disappointing, considering this is the only FroYo place that comes up in Camarillo when you do a search. We walked in and out once we saw majority of the flavors that we wanted were out of order. read more

Just moved to Camarillo from Thousand Oaks. Upon waiting for my food at the Mexican restaurant next door, I asked if Wild Cherry gives samples. Cashier said yes. I informed her I'm probably not buying anything tonight but just moved right down the street and would be back. She declined to give me a sample and I had to leave!!!!!!!!! She blew a huge customer!! Have plenty of money to spend and I feel she judged me as if I was homeless. Don't say that lightly. Please avoid this place due to morals! It's definitely a good place to go if you're looking for a quick easy dessert . It's cheaper than most of the frozen yogurt places around the ventura and la county area. However I wasn't really impressed with the selection and variety of flavors that they had. We arrived there around 9 o'clock p.m. and the frozen yogurt was a little melty. Maybe it was because they were closing and shutting down the machines but the yogurt was definitely not as cold or frozen as it should be. However, the price was much cheaper and the staff was very friendly. They also had a variety of toppings which is always fun to add to your yogurt so overall it is a a good place to go and I'm happy that they have it in Camarillo. read more

This is my favorite yogurt shop. I was so saddened when the Ventura store closed. I drove to it one night and was in shock. I just heard a few days ago when someone was talking about yogurt and I brought up Wild Cherry and how it's my favorite. He told me that's where he went and it's in Camarillo. I was so happy! This was my go-to yogurt spot before Yogurtland opened up in Oxnard! Pros: friendly staff, I could always see them cutting up the fresh fruit in the back which is nice, since I always think fresh fruit should be served with yogurt, not canned or frozen. The selection is always good, and the toppings are good as well. They have a lot of choices if you compare it to swirl across the high way. They also have a frequent customer card, which came in handy one too many times since we came so often! Cons: If you come at the wrong time, this place can get oddly packed and the machines don't get enough time to create a good textured yogurt. Also if you arrive to early or too late, they will be cleaning the floors and that smell of cleaning products is enough to kill your yogurt craving! All in all, if you're looking for a good yogurt fix you can choose between this and Swirl! This one is more commercial, and swirl is more local, either choice will not leave you disappointed! read more

I went there craving yogurt and came away very disappointed. They have good variety of flavors and toppings, good prices and location and the yogurt tastes good. The problem: The place smells foul. I asked the counter person what the smell was and she just shrugged her shoulders. A second later she and I both realized that the smell was coming from the mop her co-worker was using to mop the floor. It was so bad, I had to leave. I won't be back. read more

Very disappointed about our visit there last night. I was with my two very close girlfriends and my girlfriend's 2 year old twins. The twins and myself got regular cups for our yogurt and my girls got the 8oz containers. We had a punch card and only received 2 punches. Then when my friend asked about the discount, the girl that tried to help us, got an attitude. We thought maybe she's having a bad night, so we sat down with our $12 of yogurt. My friend went up when it wasn't busy, to ask about how the punch program worked, the girl, Sophia, became rude and gave her major attitude, so my girlfriend asked for the manager's name which just made Sophia more frustrated. She stated that the manager was on the way in and "we could take it up with them" when they got there. It's such a shame to have received such poor customer service. read more

4 stars - froyo taste (based on the flavors I chose) 2 stars - froyo selection 1 star - interior About two months ago I came here following a rare midweek lunch in my hometown. The interior of the place looked like it was falling apart, in desparate need of remodeling. Near the froyo dispensors, the gap between the equipment allowed you to see clearly into the back, far more than any other froyo chain I've been to. Considering that the majority of the reviews were made before my visit, I'm assuming the conditions of the interior have been a gradual decline. Hopefully it's been cleaned up by now. As far as the selection, I wasn't too thrilled, since the majority was low fat or NSA (no sugar added), which usually aren't as rich in flavor. I ended up picking a cherry flavor (black forest I think) and combined it with a chocolate flavor. The cost was a bit higher than what I'm used to seeing in Northridge or Simi, but not enough to worry about. Anyway, I enjoyed the froyo, and the girl behind the counter was nice, so I'm going to be nice and up my rating to a 3. But if this place hasn't gotten their act together by now, they'll be in trouble if another froyo place opens up in the area. read more

This is mine and my husband's favorite frozen yogurt spot. Unlike Pinkberry and other places, Wild Cherry is self-serve, so you can fill your cup as much or as little as you'd like and they charge by the ounce. I'm not sure how much they charge per ounce, but my almost-full cup usually ends up costing about $3.00-$3.50 depending on how heavy my toppings are. I usually stay with my half strawberry, half dulce de leche yogurt and my husband always gets the dark chocolate. But they have, I think, 10 different flavors. Some flavors they have all the time and some they rotate out sometimes to make way for new flavors. They have everything from pink lemonade to pistachio to classic tart. Their topping bar is very extensive as well with lots of candy selections as well as lots of fruit options. This is not yogurt!! It is some form of artifically sweeted ice milk! I have given this place several try's, but now given up! None of the flavors seem to be real tasting. The toppings are not even that good. The coconut shreds were dried out, must have been sitting open for day's! The fresh strawberries were only the slightest hue of red and the rest is downhill from there! This is not a slam just the facts! Wild Cherry Frozen Yogurt is the best yogurt in Camarillo. My husband and I have tried all of the yogurt places, but none compare to Wild Cherry. The owner, Jin Kim is a delight and he has a superior product. The fruit is always fresh and good. He has a wide selection of fruit, nuts, candy, and syrups. There is so much you cannot sample everything. Believe me we have tried. My favorite yogurt is the French Vanilla. My husband likes a combination of chocolate and vanilla. If you ask for a card and get it stamped after so many yogurts you get 20% off. We highly recommend this store! You will not be disappointed. read more
