As we entered, we were immediately greeted and the waitress seemed busy and asked us to grab menus as we went ahead and sat ourselves. It would have been a five star review except for some missteps in service. A group of us went on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. The place wasn't crowded so we were seated right away. Everyone ordered various dishes. I had the spicy eggplant and the Lomo Saltado with tofu. They were both delicious. The problem was with one of the dishes. Someone in our group also ordered the Lomo Saltado with beef but for some reason it was taking forever to come. Everyone else got their dishes except that one. We had to ask the server a few times. When it did come out it had the wrong protein, they brought it out with tofu instead of the beef. I felt bad for my friend. Not only did she have to wait a long time for her food but it came out incorrectly. She told the server but she went ahead and accepted it. I think she didn't want to wait again. The server at that point should have been more apologetic and even possibly offered a complimentary drink to compensate for their mistake. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of service recovery. Good thing the dishes were tasty and most likely we will be back again. Hopefully the service will be better next time. read more

Came to have lunch, after the gym, and recall there was a ownership change. I was super hungry and wanted try 2 dishes however wanted it in " to go" boxes , so I can pack them up. Tender steak, buttery noodles, enough garlic to make sure nobody kisses you till Wednesday. 10/10 would ruin a date with this again. Pho ribeye: Clear, rich broth, noodles on point, ribeye just floating in there like it pays rent. This isn't soup; this is a warm, beefy hug for people who say they're "fine" but are clearly not fine. We came here for lunch today because my daughter was craving pho and wanted to try someplace new. I reminded her that we came here a while back for Yelp Elite event, but we didn't try the pho that time. Today we had the pho and it did not disappoint. We also had the truffle fries and bacon fried rice. My daughter got a Vietnamese coffee which she said was delicious. The truffle fries were amazing...just like last time. Thin fries that were crispy with a sprinkling of herbs and truffle cheese. The dipping sauces were a nice accompaniment. The fried rice was good with a nice amount of crispy bacon on top. The pho was the star of the show. The broth was flavorful and fragrant. There was a nice amount of ribeye and noodles. The bowl was filled to the top. We originally stopped by Sweet Rice Kitchen hoping for some pho and vermicelli, but found out it had been turned into a Thai place--no more vermicelli on the menu. Bit of a letdown on that front, but we decided to try a bunch of other dishes. We went for the brisket pho first. It was just okay--the brisket was a little dry, and the broth needed more flavor and toppings. The ribeye pho was more tender and definitely a step up. But honestly, it was the Thai dishes that really won us over. The green Thai chicken curry was flavorful and delicious, and we also loved the cashew nut chicken. The highlight, though, was definitely those shrimp Spring rolls. They were super fresh, and that peanut sauce with a little sweet and sour drizzle was just perfect. Delicious food. The Thai Garden Salad is on the Happy Hour menu and it's a large size with a great mixed salad and dressing. My favorite is the Lomo Saltado, the French fries are delicious and the ribeye steak is cooked perfectly. It also comes with a side sauce that's different from most places and adds a tiny hint of spice and another level of flavor. The Khao Soi is a curry soup with noodles. Has a little kick but lots of flavor. Garlic noodles with the steak is really good too. Drunken noodles are good with lots of flavor. The pad see ew have lots of veggies, and the chicken cashew dish was really good and on the lunch special menu. Definitely recommend this place. It's my favorite Thai fusion place. It is kind of small and it can get busy. So you just need patience since I think there is only one person cooking. Dinner on a Friday was pretty busy after 5. We were craving Pho on a cold winter night and found this place with high reviews on DoorDash. It's a bit farther away than we'd typically drive to, but our local Pho place doesn't deliver. I'm so glad we found this place!! We both ordered a Combo Pho, and shared the BBQ Pork Spring Rolls. First of all, the spring rolls are massive!! The meat inside was deliciously flavored, the veggies were crisp and fresh, and the rice paper was perfectly soft. The peanut dipping sauce was yummy as well. The Pho was soooo good, flavorful, and filling! We both only ate about half before getting full. Definitely worth the price. The restaurant is between the parking structure (really close) and the Regal Theater at the Janss Mall, so easy to get to if you park to go to the theater, gym, or post office. I had a pineapple curry with shrimp, and my wife had their prime rib with vegetables dish. Both were served with jasmine rice, a small salad, and egg rolls - delicious! I had a soda, and she had Thai iced tea. The total bill came to $42 before tip. Mai, the owner, came by a number of times to see how we were doing, and we had a nice conversation. Pretty sad. We used to order from Ot Bistro, the previous name of this restaurant quite regularly and my family and I have been away for awhile so we didnt know about the change. Even though they have some of the popular dishes on the menu it is quite significantly a massive downgrade in quality and taste. The ribeye garlic noodles was very much different and a in a bad way, as well as the lomo saltado. I think at this time me and my family will not be ordering here anymore. I ordered "Spicy" Eggplant with tofu. It wasn't. Wasn't asked what level of heat I wanted, so I called back and said that we liked a bit of heat. I was given a pack of Sriracha sauce. It was not "spicy" at all- even with Sriracha. The sauce was a pool of oil. Quite awful. There was lots of eggplant cooked well and the vegetables were OK, but the oiliness and lack of any discernable heat ruined it.
