The interior is so pleasing to the eye because everything feels thoughtfully chosen, including the blush pink, sage green, and butter yellow appliances. There is a small glass room where they bake their pastries! Their menu has a great variety of items- fizzy options, pour overs, matcha drinks, and lots of flavored, specialty lattes to choose from. I ordered the palm court (pandan) latte, and my boyfriend ordered the pineapple spro-jito and a cortado. The palm court (in my opinion) is a 10/10. It is sweet but the pandan cold foam top tasted like a not-overly sweet ice cream that melted into the espresso flavor smoothly. The pineapple spro-jito has an insane, deliciously light pineapple foam that suits the fizzy espresso. It was sweeter than I anticipated, so I actually ended up drinking more of it than my boyfriend did. I can't really speak on the cortado because I didn't taste it but I love being able to immerse myself in a curated coffee experience! They offer some of the trendiest beverages, including a very unique iced miso matcha that had to be mine. You can tell that this cafe has become a 'third space'. It seems like the whole community gathers here to drink their coffee, meet with friends, and take in the last bits of summer on their cutesy outdoor patio. I felt incredibly lucky to snag a table. While the line is long, their team members are pros. They move through this quickly, giving you your caffeine fix as soon as possible. They do have a large parking lot but it's shared with a number of offices, fitness studios, etc. I did find that parking was a bit hard to find here. I'll be adding this to my must-visit spots for future visits to Ventura.

Pretty frustrating experience this morning. My wife put in a door dash order for my favorite coffee…read morelast night for my birthday. It was set to be delivered this morning. Order went through no problem. Trouble started this morning when my wife received a message from the driver that Tree Lounge doesn't have the order (first screenshot). My wife looks and sees she received a cancellation text for the order 1 minute after the driver's message (second screenshot). From the outside this looks like the driver walked in, asked for the order, they said they didn't have it and then cancelled it. So, my wife called Tree Lounge to see what is going on and was told that they cancelled the order because they were "in the middle of their rush". It's easy to see how poorly this situation was handled in general, but also clear no one checked online orders to prep the work for the morning. This order shouldn't be a surprise and the choice to just blind cancel it instead of making it because of what equates to "we're busy" is pretty bad. Takes a lot for me to leave a review. If you don't want to process online order during your rush then set those hours up in door dash. If you screwed up and just didn't check your online orders in the morning, then just make the drink as the next up order.
