Some places serve drinks... & some places serve moments you want to stay inside a little longer. This was honestly the best boba spot I've ever been to. From the second we walked in, the space felt alive, warm, welcoming, & effortlessly cool. The people were super rad, the kind of energy that makes you feel like you belong there even on your first visit. Customer service? Genuine. Food? Delicious. Ambiance? Pure good vibes. We ordered the bubblegum boba, got the big one, and shared it, which somehow made it taste even sweeter. Every sip felt nostalgic and playful, like childhood joy dressed up in a cup of happiness. The price was moderate, but completely worth it. You're not just paying for boba... you're paying for an experience, a mood, a little pocket of joy in the day. If you're looking for a spot where flavor meets heart -- this is it. read more

Overall super cute! The drinks themselves are very good -- I've had both the Thai tea and the Jasmine milk tea and would recommend both. However I will say having been now several times that the boba has not been very good. It seems like it might be not cooked all the way through or just old (the center has a gel-like consistency rather than chewy if that makes sense), and it also lacks any flavor. The redemption for the shop is in their crepes! OMG sooooo delicious. Would highly recommend trying the Nutella and strawberry crepes -- I eat them so fast that I forget to take a picture! read more

I call it historic town because all the buildings nearby are really old looking - like the Wild West kind of feel. Then there's a boba shop.. seems out of place but at least they serve good boba. We parked across the street at the train stop lot and walked over. But I think there might be parking available behind the store. Got two almond milk based drinks to share.. cookie n cream with boba and chocolate banana. His cookie n cream with boba tasted better, good chewy but not hard boba. Mine chocolate banana tasted almost like a protein shake- like powdery chocolate. Love the Halloween decorations. read more

I really recommend coming here the service is good and the workers are very patient when asking questions! My favorite drink to get is the strawberry mango with mango jelly and strawberry popping boba! 10/10 place :) read more

I never heard of Boba, then somehow I got addicted to it. Now I try to find the best places for my Boba fix. Bobas Cuz makes great boba. I seem to always order the Thai Coffee with Boba, kind of like I always order a cheese pizza. The drink is tasty, one of the best that I have had. Service is a little slow but worth the wait. Great customer service and friendly staff make this a top Moorpark choice. read more

Bobas Cuz is one of few establishments in the Moorpark that serves boba. People might think this is your typical "milk tea" spot, but it's mostly a sweet smoothie spot that adds boba to their drinks. So if you shift your mindset to critique this place for what it really is, instead of what you *thought* it should be, then you would also conclude that Bobas Cuz is a decent boba place. + They have all sorts of combinations to cater to any picky eater. + The boba texture leans more on the chewy rather than the soft side, but I don't mind it. + Taro & Oreo is probably my favorite here + milk alternatives are available for most drinks (not all) + there is a tiny parking lot in the back + lots of inside seating, good place to hang out + snacks are on their menu. It's usually some variation of hot Cheetos, nachos, and cheese read more

This place kept insisting that this was a regular tea when I asked for a passionfruit green tea. They had also put passionfruit boba in here which I didn't ask for. I told them it looks like a milk tea and they said this is how all of their teas come out. When I asked if they could switch it out for a regular jasmine milk tea they said that this is the exact same tea. How does that even make sense? When I asked if I could get a different drink, they tried to charge me for it, even though I said that this was not the drink that I had requested. They said since it was a small business the best they could do was give me half off. No refund, no drink replacement, poor customer service. The cashier kept trying to say it's because it's a small business, i've never heard of a small business not replacing a $9 drink (which is also overpriced). UPDATE: The owner messaged me directly through Yelp and is taking no responsibility even though they listened to the exchange I had with their employees. Unprofessional. read more

This is our go to spot! They take their time to do it right but sometimes it takes a while...we don't mind. Their selections are good and it's become quite the hangout spot for kids which is great but kind of loud with the music. If you wanna dance while waiting...this is your spot! My favorite flavor is taro Oreo so so good! read more

Got the honeydew. Boba was alright. Drink tasted amazing. You could tell that the drink was made with real tea and not just a bunch of powder. Inside looked like something off of instagram. Cool for taking pictures. Service was great. Store wasn't too busy when I went. Friendly and quick. Menu had modern and traditional flavors as well as food. Parking in back. I tried that new Grass Jelly with a Jasmine Milk Tea. The jelly was really good! It's made from a plant in the mint family with a little rice flour. It's a softer jelly which I really liked and has kind of a cardamom flavor, sweet and cooling. I'd try it in some of the milky/savory flavors like horchatas, coconuts, peanut butters, bananas and chocolates too... YUM. As always, the rest of the family loved the passion fruit and strawberry bursting boba and I love that we can try so many different flavors, boba and toppings and always find a yummy combo. (Yep! Came back to try the grass jelly with the coconut taro. New favorite, would recommend) read more

We have been a big fan of bobas Cuz and we are happy we have something like this in Moorpark. Although we usually stick to the same drink, rarely do we choose a different flavor. Today, I ordered a Jasmin milk tea. Which was pretty good. My go to flavor is taro. Today was Black Friday, there was only one man working both front and back. I felt bad but he was pretty quick to get our drinks out. I like that they added seating inside and change the decoration as the seasons change. Signs were nicely lit and music wasn't too loud. Definitely a must try! read more

When life gives you lemons... Make Lemonade. When life gives you little black balls... Put them in your Boba! If you are a true Boba fan, you know exactly what I'm talkin' about! Those delicious black tapioca pearls of yumminess are definitely where it's at. I don't know what it is about this refreshing drink, but the Boba craze has suckered me in. Let's break it down... First, an amazing flavored Ice Cold milk tea. Then, a cup sealed with a plastic wrapper lid allowing you to shake & mix at your own free will. Next, you slam your giant straw through the sealed lid. Finally, you take your first refreshing swig as multiple tapioca pearls come flying up the straw into your mouth. Not only is it delicious, but it's an adventure. At Boba's Cuz in Old Town Moorpark, this is where the Boba game gets down. There's something special about a business that looks like a home on the exterior because you should know they will treat you like family once inside. From Bobas and smoothies to slushees and shakes, Bobas Cuz has got what you need to refresh your little soul. With some of the comfiest couches I've ever sat in, you may sit down and just never want to leave! My recommendation.. Go next door for lunch (Luna Llena) a little Mexican restaurant, then go to Bobas Cuz afterwards for a refreshing dessert-style drink. You can thank me later! =) read more

very cute decor! good boba, good service and i love the pokemon claw machine! a must try in moorpark

Very cute little boba shack right across from the train station! They have a few options for indoor seating, tons of menu diversity, and a super cute Mexican restaurant right next door. There's plenty of parking nearby and your order comes out pretty fast. Good spot to meet a friend or two, but would not recommend "dining in" for large groups. My best friend is super into boba and this place does it right. I, on the other hand, don't really enjoy choking on super chewy, slimy rice balls while trying to enjoy my smoothie, so I can't really tell you if this place is better than others. All I can say is the orange creamsicle boba was very sweet and refreshing, but there were so many balls in it, like more than normal, so I wouldn't come back, for that reason. Maybe other people like that though! It also gave me a weird stomach ache after, probably because of the sugar + dairy + hard to digest rice balls, combination. The location is very cute and the drinks are very picture friendly. They offer slushies, smoothies, teas and frappes. If you can't do dairy they have almond milk as a substitute. The gal working wasn't very personable but she worked quickly. Overall it was a typical boba experience, and I'm sorry I can't give you more than that cause I'm just not into it. read more

Cute location and great service at this small local location. Lots of room on the inside and outside for seating as well.

Super cool vibe at this boba place! The boba: they had a large array of options to choose from. They had drinks that ranged from teas to slushes with fruity flavors to coffee flavors. I opted for the Thai tea and my boyfriend got the taro slush. Both were very good! The Thai tea was pretty sweet so I couldn't finish it (but I am sensitive to very sugary drinks). The taro had a good flavor and wasn't too overpowering. The vibe: this boba place is so cool! It's in what used to be a house but they did a great job remodeling it. It has a cozy feel inside. The employees were very nice and helpful when we had questions. Overall, the boba was pretty good here! Would I come back? Yes! read more

This place knows how to make Thai iced tea the proper way! Sweetness and creaminess all at the sweet spot of this drink. The Thai iced tea with boba and grass jelly is quite gas. If you love Boba then that might be your place. I don't love boba so they have made it without them. Then it's just a shake, Jamba is more my jam than Boba. Last Friday my daughters and I had just finished a concert on Main Street and excitedly went for boba after. Upon walking up we realized they were closed and cleaning. We turned to leave and the owner noticed us and actually came outside to ask us if we wanted boba and opened back up for us! He was so jovial and kind and extremely welcoming. He even gave my kids extra boba. This is the kind of service that is so difficult to find these days and I hope everyone will stop in and give their boba a try. The place is really cute and has plenty of seating and fun music. They truly went above and beyond and made my kids and this mamma very happy. Thanks Bobas Cuz! Honestly somewhat disappointed when I went here. It labels itself as a boba place but the quality of both its boba and its tea is subpar. The boba tastes like instant boba and I'd much prefer to drive to Simi Valley to get better drinks. If I came back, I would try to get a non-tea drink without boba and see how it is. read more

Prior to COVID, I drank boba practically every week, so I like to consider myself well rounded in determining what's worth it! Now that I've relocated to this area, the options for boba are very limited. I was around the neighborhood and decided to try Boba Cuz. The location is in a very cute area of old town Moorpark, and the building itself is a cute house with plenty of space to grab & go! I ordered an Ice Blended Thai Tea with boba. I love ice blended drinks and decided to give it a try, since I've never had a blended Thai tea. The boba was soft, chewy, and the perfect consistency! The flavor of the drink was not your typical standard Thai tea, but had rather a strong milky taste to it. I'm not sure if their regular Thai tea tastes the same, but the off-putting flavor is the reason I didn't give 5-stars. However, this shop has a TON of different flavors of drinks!! I would definitely come back to try other options, and I'm sure there is something for everyone as they also serve smoothies, slushees, and coffee drinks! read more

Definitely try the crepes, that may be my favorite thing on the menu. Decent boba spot, not really authentic for milk tea snobs, but refreshing on a hot day. They do substitute almond milk and have fruit flavored options similar to a slushie. I like their sealed cups, unique and recognizable. Not recommended if you are in a hurry, I've waited 30 minutes for a drink with only 3-4 people ahead of me. In my opinion, their original location down the street in Moorpark was much better, it had a parking lot and air conditioning. Boba Cuz did a great job renovating and cleaning up this High street space, but I can't help but feel it's stuffy and too close quarters for standing in line for a smoothie. The street parking is not ideal either. The biggest reason why I'm not a repeat customer here is the inability to order ahead online for pickup. read more

I just left this place after giving it a second chance. The time before this I had the man roll his eyes at me when I asked for another straw because the one he gave me had a slit down the middle. I walked in today, hoping it would be different. I stood there for 5 minutes. The worker was working in the back, within view but didn't acknowledge me whatsoever. I waited a bit thinking he would at least tell me he would be with me shortly. Nothing. I walked out after 5 minutes of silence. I love supporting small business but clearly this place doesn't want my money. read more

I ordered the taro-Oreo-boba drink. I thought it tasted really good! My only advice for the customer is to either order it just one with either taro-boba or taro-Oreo. Really hits the spot when I am in the neighborhood and craving boba. Boba is hard to come by (read: nearly impossible) in Ventura County so I am glad I found this place and it's pretty good quality too.
