I call it historic town because all the buildings nearby are really old looking - like the Wild West kind of feel. Then there's a boba shop.. seems out of place but at least they serve good boba. We parked across the street at the train stop lot and walked over. But I think there might be parking available behind the store. This place kept insisting that this was a regular tea when I asked for a passionfruit green tea. They had also put passionfruit boba in here which I didn't ask for. I told them it looks like a milk tea and they said this is how all of their teas come out. When I asked if they could switch it out for a regular jasmine milk tea they said that this is the exact same tea. How does that even make sense? When I asked if I could get a different drink, they tried to charge me for it, even though I said that this was not the drink that I had requested. They said since it was a small business the best they could do was give me half off. No refund, no drink replacement, poor customer service. The cashier kept trying to say it's because it's a small business, i've never heard of a small business not replacing a $9 drink (which is also overpriced). I tried that new Grass Jelly with a Jasmine Milk Tea. The jelly was really good! It's made from a plant in the mint family with a little rice flour. It's a softer jelly which I really liked and has kind of a cardamom flavor, sweet and cooling. I'd try it in some of the milky/savory flavors like horchatas, coconuts, peanut butters, bananas and chocolates too... YUM. Today, I ordered a Jasmin milk tea. Which was pretty good. My go to flavor is taro. Today was Black Friday, there was only one man working both front and back. I felt bad but he was pretty quick to get our drinks out. I like that they added seating inside and change the decoration as the seasons change. Signs were nicely lit and music wasn't too loud. Very cute little boba shack right across from the train station! They have a few options for indoor seating, tons of menu diversity, and a super cute Mexican restaurant right next door. There's plenty of parking nearby and your order comes out pretty fast. Good spot to meet a friend or two, but would not recommend "dining in" for large groups. My best friend is super into boba and this place does it right. I, on the other hand, don't really enjoy choking on super chewy, slimy rice balls while trying to enjoy my smoothie, so I can't really tell you if this place is better than others. All I can say is the orange creamsicle boba was very sweet and refreshing, but there were so many balls in it, like more than normal, so I wouldn't come back, for that reason. Maybe other people like that though! It also gave me a weird stomach ache after, probably because of the sugar + dairy + hard to digest rice balls, combination. The location is very cute and the drinks are very picture friendly. They offer slushies, smoothies, teas and frappes. If you can't do dairy they have almond milk as a substitute. Last Friday my daughters and I had just finished a concert on Main Street and excitedly went for boba after. Upon walking up we realized they were closed and cleaning. We turned to leave and the owner noticed us and actually came outside to ask us if we wanted boba and opened back up for us! He was so jovial and kind and extremely welcoming. I'm not sure if their regular Thai tea tastes the same, but the off-putting flavor is the reason I didn't give 5-stars. However, this shop has a TON of different flavors of drinks!! They do substitute almond milk and have fruit flavored options similar to a slushie. I like their sealed cups, unique and recognizable. Not recommended if you are in a hurry, I've waited 30 minutes for a drink with only 3-4 people ahead of me. In my opinion, their original location down the street in Moorpark was much better, it had a parking lot and air conditioning. Boba Cuz did a great job renovating and cleaning up this High street space, but I can't help but feel it's stuffy and too close quarters for standing in line for a smoothie. The street parking is not ideal either. The biggest reason why I'm not a repeat customer here is the inability to order ahead online for pickup. read more

I ordered the taro-Oreo-boba drink. I thought it tasted really good! My only advice for the customer is to either order it just one with either taro-boba or taro-Oreo. This Boba place is so cute! The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. I took my family who has never gotten it before and they helped them. We got the boba in the photo (strawberry watermelon) as well as jasmine tea with boba, strawberry mango with strawberry popping boba, strawberry lemonade with strawberry popping boba, cookies and cream blended with no boba, and Vietnamese coffee with boba. Over all very good! The only thing we would change is that the consistency of some of the blended drinks aren't thick enough and get hot and liquify quickly. Would recommend still! read more
