Delicious boba and friendly service! We went after having lunch near by. Didn't know quite what to order so we got one of their specials, the mango coconut rice drink, peach green tea, lychee green tea and the dirty milk tea. The mango coconut rice drink tasted just like the name. Was like eating the desert in a drink form. It was really delicious. The teas were also very good with the right amount of sweetness. Usually most boba places will make their drinks overly sweet but this was made just the way we like them. The owners were super friendly and helpful. The place was on the smaller side but there are tables out in the courtyard if you wanted to stick around to enjoy your drink. Will definitely come back again the next time we are in the area.

I also purchased a few snacks and everything tasted amazing! The owners are very sweet and welcoming. I felt like I was welcomed into their home. They have great guest service skills and made me feel appreciated as a customer. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend the store to anyone looking for tasty drinks and snacks. They are located in Thousand Oaks in the Janss marketplace shopping center.

I can confidently say my experience this time was stellar, the lady helping me was extremely nice and welcoming, as well as very helpful when I asked some questions about the drinks, and she assisted me with my drink modifications. It was wonderful, quick and the type customer service I was hoping for. The drinks I got today were fantastic, I would definitely order them again! I did not want to take advantage of the complementary drinks that were offered to me by the owner over our messages, as I am one to always support local/small businesses, however the gesture is greatly appreciated as it proves this buisness cares about their customers. I understand now that my poor experience last time was definitely a misunderstanding based on busy and stressful circumstances. I am glad I gave this place one more chance, and I encourage everyone to visit and try a boba!

Ice blended horchata with oat milk / boba

First time here, got the Horchata ice blended with boba and it was sooo good. Could really taste the freshness in the boba. Drink flavor itself was delicious as well. Loved the option of making any of the milk teas be ice blended , that was a big plus. Location is nice and very well kept inside . The other day, I tried the Banana Chocolate & Almond Butter blended drink with a scoop of collagen powder -- and wow, it was so good! It honestly reminded me of Nesquik chocolate milk, but with a richer, creamier twist. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back to try more! The service was super friendly, and the place itself was really cute -- I loved the decor! They also had fun little extras to check out, like ramen packet displays and a variety of flavored KitKats. Such a fun vibe! If you're into matcha, you have to try the Lychee Matcha Cloud with lychee jelly -- another must-have combo! I'll include pictures of both drinks below so you can check them out! :)

Lovely couple are the owners of this shop and they have the best boba in Ventura County! I've tried few of their drinks and everything is top notch. I have been ordering drinks from Matcha Boba in Thousand Oaks for years. I especially love their matcha boba drink. The owners are the ones that are usually serving me and they are amazing! Always professional, kind and they are the hardest working individuals I know. I appreciate the quality of their drinks and the consistency. This is my first visit at Matcha Boba. It's located at the Janss Marketplace, near the movie theater side. It was a tad busy on a very chilly night. Bob was super friendly, informative & gave us a few suggestions. He was able to customize my drink order for me without any issues. Even though they ran out of Boba, he apologized, & offered other alternatives. I was ok with it, since I don't particularly add boba to my drinks... My drink was good. I didn't want it sweet, so he was able to adjust it for me... They have hot drink options as well. Next time I will order one of these on a chilly night lol. Just having a small conversation with Bob & the other gal helping out makes me want to visit this shop again. They were welcoming & executed drinks for our group of 8. Customer service terrible - owner was rude when I questioned the details or the order - failed to Acknowledge my concerns and also was smoking in the back filling the room with cigarette smoke and my kids were exposed to unecessary second hand smoke - last time I will visit this place . I was in this area a few months ago and was craving my Matcha. I should've gone elsewhere for matcha because this was not it. I attempted to order on their Kiosk upon arrival only to keep receiving an error message of their Wi-Fi disconnecting. Ended up ordering at the cashier so that wasted some time. They're located in a shopping center and it was pretty busy attracting a lot of the youngins. My company enjoyed their drinks so I give 3 solid stars for that! Probably wouldn't return nor recommend based on the matcha drink I tried. read more

The one piece of sourdough toast with butter was a whopping $8+. It won't stop me going there I just won't order those food items again. It's real easy to get to , located in Westlake off Hampshire blvd off the 101 freeway., absolutely worth a visit. Would have been 5 stars if food wasn't so pricey.

Kids devoured all their ice cream, which is rare for them to do. They also serve food here, which we did not get to try but is good to know is an option. I never thought it was possible for me to have an absolute favorite ice cream. I have been back many times since and haven't tried any of the other flavors. I've tried the black cherry on the cake cone and sugar cone. I'll probably get it in a dish! Probably the waffle bowl too! I will keep coming back!!! Matcha Boba has quickly become one of my favorite spots! Every product they serve is made with high-quality ingredients, and you can truly taste the difference. They offer a wide variety of drinks and toppings. The halo-halo--a classic Filipino dessert--is a standout. They made it so perfectly, with the ideal balance of textures and flavors. Honestly, it's better than many other places I've had it, even ones that specialize in Filipino treats! The coconut açaí frappe is another must-try--creamy, tropical, and so satisfying without being overly sweet. Some of the negative reviews on this place don't make sense to me at all! Ordered a Jasmine Milk Tea and Hazelnut Milk Tea and they were delicious! They're boba is fresh. Loved the consistency. Spoke briefly with the owner and they're slightly understaffed at the moment. Despite being under new management with a new and relatively inexperienced team, they kept the line moving! Matcha Boba is a nice little local shop that offers a good variety of milk teas and other drinks. They have everything you'd expect from a boba shop, but also offer mushroom coffee and other unique drinks. The staff is very friendly and the prices are average, but the interior is pretty small and the service a a little slow, so it may not be your best option if you're in a hurry. This is the only boba that i drink, i love the milk tea it's so refreshing and i love that it's not to overpowering or artificial tasting. They also just got taiyaki and they are so tasty! i also love going here because the couple that run this place are amazing human beings and they are truly hard workers and are always so welcoming when i come in. wow, what a experience I had at matcha boba. I drink a lot of boba drinks and my friends recommended this place. I drove from Ventura to try it and was worth the drive. they have lots of custom drinks. I told them it was my first time at the shop and they recommended me some of the speciality drinks and I ordered the strawberry Thai tea. super delicious. I'm really quite pleased with this place! I ordered a matcha tea (very fitting) and it turned out pretty great. The service was fast and friendly, and prices are pretty reasonable. There's a good amount of seating inside also if you would like to sit and enjoy your drink. Definitely will come back here. read more

TRY THIS PLACE!!! It is amazing I always make sure to stop by after I hit the gym, they have such good quality and variety of drinks and the owner and staff are always so friendly. The store is set up very nice and my favorite drink is the blended matcha with whey protein! read more
