    Fun hangout spot

Family owned and operated store is a real "charming" spot to get together with friends and enjoy some sweet treats. We got a large bingsu with ice cream to share. The perfect dessert after a meal. Super friendly owners.

The Charming I've Bar is exactly it's name! The staff is very kind and the food is DELICIOUS. I haven't had shaved ice like that before. We even got to play some ping pong! It's tasty and thoughtfully made and we will be back again!

Typical order. Mango below, with a scoop of pistachio ice cream on top. Behind is a piña colada blend, with sparkling water.

This little store is fun, and a great addition to Family-Friendly treats, and date nights! My family is always searching for the frozen ice-cream-like concoctions like this! Search #sweetsnow. #bingsoo. #bingsu. #shavedice. Etc. It's family owned and operated. New to this Asian dessert?! I got you... My go-to order is Mango ice cream, topped with the creamy mango snow, whipped cream on top. And I always get the lychee flavored mochi cubes under it all!

We were greeted nicely and welcomed. The ice cream is very good although it's a bit pricy. $6 for a single scoop. Not loud and easy to talk. Comfortable seating for adults and children.

This is a nice little spot to get Asian-style desserts and drinks. They have snow ice which is similar to shaved ice but milky in texture. They also have several ice cream flavors. I tried the chocolate peanut butter, and it tasted homemade. Definitely not something factory-made in my opinion. My recommendation to the owners, who are lovely by the way, is to have additional smaller serving sizes. The small is more like a medium right now, and the large is massive. Looking forward to checking out other items on their menu!

Hidden gem in the heart of Thousand Oaks. After dinner we stumbled into this quant ice cream shop. My kids were so excited and the owner was super patient and nice. Love supporting family businesses and this is a good one. I wasn't even really craving anything but the gentleman suggested I get a shaved ice and I'm glad I did. I'm obsessed with shaved ice especially Korean style and I have had many places but this was supreme. The shaved ice was smooth and perfect texture and the vaniila ice cream was a perfect contrast. There was some jelly like thing in there that was insane and I'm honestly surprised there's not a line out the door. This place should be on your dessert list.

Came here for ice cream after a show at the center down the street. Unique decor and great ice cream flavors. Our server was nice. It's a bit pricy so we like to come here as a treat.

Great new hidden gem in TO with yummy ice cream, easy parking and fun ping pong table. It's a cute family owned place with mother husband, and daughter. We had a great date night here!

Delicious bingsu, we had banana snow ice cream and strawberry snow ice cream. Love the lychee at the bottom of the dish! The owners are so nice and it is a cool spot :)

This charming ice bar is between Skyline drive and Fairview Rd off Thousand Oaks Blvd. Right next to Tabu Shabu Restaurant. This Charming Ice cream bar , is very charming & darling ice cream bar. It's super clean, very organized, and attention to details. Upon entering we were greeted, there so many ice creams to choose from , shaved iced, shakes, smoothies, bobas, along with different bottled drinks . I knew what I would like 2 scoops of chocolate peanut butter. The young lady still gave me a sample , which was so sweet of her ! We also were wondering about the snowflake ice cream so we gave it a go , we picked mango ! It was amazing delicious!! I was so floored how delicious it was!! There was a lot of things going on with snowflake Ice cream drink! I'm so glad we came here ! Their price points are so on especially for the deliciousness of these drinks and ice creams! I would love to thank the Charming Ice Cream Bar for a very positive & wonderful experience here! The staff are super down to earth , very helpful, knowledgeable, sweet & kind here! Please come by and try it out! We definitely we will be back! I'll tell all my family and friends to visit here!

The Japanese Sukiyaki base was perfectly mild and flavorful -- exactly what I needed. Paired with tender chicken and fresh veggies, it hit the spot without being heavy. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. The restaurant itself is adorable -- bright, floral decor that feels welcoming and clean. Service was super friendly and attentive (shoutout to Alina for the great service! ). Portions are generous for the price, and the quality is top-tier. I also grabbed a simple hot tea that was perfect. This place is a true fusion win: authentic Thai flavors + customizable hot pots + excellent boba. Family-owned vibes shine through in every bite. If you're in the Westlake Village / Thousand Oaks area, do yourself a favor and go. I'll definitely be back soon -- highly recommend! Pro tip: Try the mini hot pot with Sukiyaki or Miso and chicken. You won't regret it.

For anyone familiar with Chinese soup dumplings, you know the best ones are made fresh to order right in front of you. But let's be realistic--if a restaurant did that here, the price per serving would probably double just to cover the high cost of rent and labor. With that in mind, I'm actually very pleased with the quality of food they offer at the price point. Besides the pork soup dumplings, I highly recommend the green beans with garlic. They're well made and flavorful. I also ordered the minced pork noodles with cucumber slices, and everything was very tasty. I came here with my daughter around 1:00 p.m. on a weekday, and it was pretty quiet. We were seated right away and really enjoyed the relaxed dining atmosphere. The server/owner was warm, friendly, and very helpful. I'd definitely come back whenever another Chinese soup dumpling craving hits!
