Overall very nice vibes and great service. The smoothie bowl that I got was around $15-$16 but it was very big and delicious. Seems like a nice place to come and hang out too and play some oversized games. The smoothie bowl itself was yummy and well balanced and prepared on the spot with fresh fruits and ingredients. Crissy is AMAZING!! She was so sweet and helped me decide! it's a small space but she did an amazing job making it homey and comfy! She baked all of the cookies in house everyday! you could smell how deliciosos! The smoothies are made with real fruit and it shows! she was very generous and didn't skimp out on filling up the cup!! Love this place. Went in for break and something healthy and saw they fly NY bagels in fresh daily. It was so good ended up with a banana oat chocolate chip cookie that was hit and fresh. During a morning drop off at FedEx across the street, I found this cute little gem in Whizin Market Square of Agoura Hills. Upon a friendly greeting by Crissy, the owner, I opted to try the Penny Lane Signature Smoothie (Apple, Spinach, Avocado, Almond Milk, Celery, Dates, Organic Plant Protein and Chrissy's recommended choice of Mint). As my drink was being prepared, I checked out the shop that has the feeling of a cozy, home complete with hilarious kitchen tschotskes, tables with chess and board games, comfy seating and bright lighting. The menu also has bowls, raw juices, coffee and tea, NYC bagels (overnighted from New York), as well as yummy cookies and pies. All of the sweets are homemade by Crissy, without preservatives and including Vegan and Gluten Free options! Definitely worth exploring again for delicious homemade goodness! read more

The owner is a kind person whose desserts and drinks are wonderful! My husband loved the berry pie/tart, and my gluten-free chocolate cookie was wonderful. I also ordered a blueberry/apple/pear drink. Perfect in every way. The ambience is comfortable and fun! Oversized chess and checker boards draw folks in. There are other board games and cookbooks on the shelves. I had not been to this shopping area in years. The property owner has breathed new life into Whizin Market Square. This absolutely adorable cafe is one you must stop in for! The banana everything vegan cookie is so addicting they keep me coming back for more! Not to mention the peanut butter chocolate smoothie, the flown in New York bagels and fresh squeezed juice daily. The customer service is wonderful because you will always be met with a smile! Disappointed by my whole experience at this place. We came with my family from out of town and we ordered 2 smoothies and 2 bagels. We had wanted to try their desert but they were quoting us a 35 plus minute wait and it wasn't even busy. We didn't end up getting the desert and our order still took 30 plus minutes. With the owner/manager there as well I was disappointed by the lack of service or order check in for our order. I'm in the food service industry as well and I would have had at least checked in with the customer and let them know if there was an order delay or apologize for the wait. We ordered the orange cicle and shaking the tree. Shaking the tree was refreshing and tasted great. Our bagels were hard as rocks and my child couldn't eat the bagel. Wow! Wow! Wow! I absolutely love Schatzi. My friend, her little one and I dropped by today and could not have had a better experience. We were greeted by the owner, who could not have been more lovely. She gave us fantastic recommendations and was able to provide the perfect drinks for what we liked (flavor, texture, ingredients, etc.) We also tried three different cookies, which she makes herself, and they were delicious. The owner was so kind, so helpful, and so welcoming. The store is adorable and beautifully designed. We went outside to sit and wait, and she brought our drinks to us (so appreciated with a little one). We sat there for an hour plus - she didn't rush us and she even brought us additional sweets. Owners like her who take great passion, love and joy in what they do and the experience the customer has are far and few between - thank you, thank you, thank you! I came to Schatzi for its fruit bowls. I was able to have an açaí- and dragon fruit-based bowl, and both were tasty. There is ample customization to get what you are looking for and several supplement additives at your disposal. The actual store has some games like chess to play, which are oversized and make for a cool picture, as well as gift shop items that you can browse while eating. Also, the indoor/outdoor mall that Schatzi is located inside has a very fun atmosphere that is worth checking out on its own right! read more

Very good, widest range of fruits I can think of. This is one of the better options I've found. Appreciate the gluten free options. (I think "Schatzi" is a play on a "shot" of juice?) If I understood correctly, they don't use a lot of hidden sugars, weird ingredients in their smoothies. Worth trying. read more

This store is a delight! It's a cute little shop and super bright and welcoming inside. They have the most delicious flavor combinations for their smoothies and taste super yummy. I tried their "In the Mood" and "LA Woman" smoothie and both were absolutely refreshing and had pungent flavors. Some smoothie places make their smoothies and they taste very bland, but Schatzi's smoothies are anything but bland tasting! I will definitely return back here. read more

Ambiance is cute! It's a very quaint place to have a smoothie, coffee or tea and catch up with a friend. The food was OK. Not a lot to choose from as far as breakfast items. I came into Shatzi with my family and we ordered two bagels and two smoothies (note the review below from Day M.). I am not sure what Chrissy is confused by? "The men" definitely didn't enjoy the food because there weren't "men" with us? In fact, as soon as we got our food, we left because it took FOREVER. It was indeed a 30 minute wait. The bagels were hard and chewy (I lived in NYC, I'm familiar with quality bagels- this isn't them). We weren't able to finish the bagels. We also didn't finish the smoothies. The green one that I ordered was flavorless and oddly chalky (also, minor complaint- the straw was too big- it was a boba straw), and it really did feel like smoothie punishment. It really is sad because we wanted to try their signature Shatzle, but since we were the only ones there, waiting 30 minutes for a waffle seems odd? But mostly, I'm bothered that Chrissy is lying instead of just taking the feedback for what it is--- disappointment in the experience, and honesty about the chewy hard bagels. read more

I only leave reviews if the place sucks or is exceptional and I so prefer the latter. This little place was my find of the month! I saw a pretty fruit tart-looking display under glass and asked what it was. The owner gave me such a sweet backstory about her German mother's recipe that I had to try it. It's called a Schatzle, an organic-peach and nectarine-stuffed waffle with blueberries on top. I'm not usually a waffle lover, but it was absolutely amazing. It was a perfect balance of waffle to fruit---not too sweet---and tasted like she had gone out the back kitchen door and picked the fruit from her orchard. Deeeeee-lish! read more
