My wife came with me today between a few meetings and we were looking for a breakfast place and found this spot. The place is nice and clean with a quiet atmosphere for breakfast. The guy at the counter was very polite, patient, friendly, and knew how to welcome customers. We ordered two breakfast plates and a salad. The service was fairly fast, but we ordered one breakfast with avocado and they forgot to add it. We asked for it and they brought it after my wife already finished eating. Also, I asked for no bread, but my wife asked for white bread and she also got it right before finishing her meal. They only brought one small piece of bread which honestly did not feel enough for a 3 egg omelet. The food was good and pretty standard, nothing special. The plates did not really look very appealing or exciting. The prices are fair and not expensive. I probably would not come back, but it's okay for someone looking to grab something quick and leave.

A true local gem! I looooove cookie cafe. The employees are so nice and helpful. The vibe of the place is a living room meets a library! They have plenty of tables along with board games and books to use. It's a great place to meet for a coffee date or even to study/work. The cookies are all fab! The blueberry scones are also great. Food wise, I've only had the breakfast burrito but they are delish! And HUGE- my husband and I always split it. I also enjoy their coffee and find their coffee prices extremely reasonable for this day and age. It's about $4.25 for their version of a shaken espresso with oat milk. This is definitely a local gem and we love supporting them!

Such a charming cafe in Agoura Hills! When you walk inside, you are immediately hit with the most amazing and scrumptious smell of freshly baked cookies that wafted in the air throughout the café. You are immediately tempted by all the beautifully displayed options at the counter from pies to quiche to cookies and sweet bread loaves this place has it all not only can you get freshly made cookies which come right out of the oven and in so many different flavors you also can order food and either hot or cold coffee and tea drinks. I ordered a few things, including the café salad, an iced Matcha latte with coconut milk (this option is hardly ever available so it is really special to be able to order this), and a chocolate chip walnut cookie. Everything was made to order served to me at my table and done so with so much kindness just like I was at home and with family. The café itself has many tables and during the day it is a great place to work with fast Wi-Fi and comfy seats, especially if you get the booth in the corner everything is clean and also parking is really easy in front of the café as this is located in a small strip mall. I would absolutely come back here again. This place is such a hidden gem in the area you must visit!

Was visiting the area and stopped by to get some work done. Plenty of places to sit, whether it's comfy seats or at the tables. Love the decor with all the books, fun posters, and art work. The fake fireplace is also such a lovely touch. This was such a perfectly cute, cozy, and charming spot. The staff here are also incredibly friendly and sweet. I was conflicted with what to order and she gave the perfect suggestion. I got hot tea and the quiche. They served it warmed up and it was absolutely delicious. I got the bacon and spinach quiche and it completely hit the spot. My friend shared her cookie which was also yummy. Located in a small plaza so there's parking up front. Will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area!

I came back again because the cookies were so delicious and such a hit the last time! The food is always so amazingly good, and this is now my go-to cookie cafe for sure. These are hands down the best cookies in the greater LA area - and today there were the sweetest staff that helped me pick out the pastries! This shop feels so authentic, as if my grandmother made the cookies freshly from her oven! As someone who has lived in west LA for the last 3.5 years, I would totally drive here specifically just to get their cookies because I know it's all made for love and genuine appreciation for food & doesn't feel manufactured at all!! The shop is also so cute right now with the holiday decor - check them out!!

Love The Cookie Cafe! Such a charming addition to the Conejo Valley. It's nestled in a strip mall in Agoura. The inside is quite spacious. Definitely has a cozy and casual vibe and I love that ambiance. Menu includes full cafe bar options and wide arrangement of cookies. Decently priced too. Everytime I come here, I have to get the breakfast burrito with bacon ($11). They make them fresh and they are customizable. Love that they have more ingredients than your typical breakfast burritos and the layer of cheese on top adds an extra yummy flare! I have not tried the quiches yet but they always look so good. We usually end up getting a cookie. My favorites so far... chocolate chip and snickerdoodle. Good house coffee too, I've come here a couple of times and each time has been a great experience. They also do online orders as well. I would definitely recommend -- and look forward to coming back!

I liked this spot. Seems like kind of a good discovery. The cookies are plentiful and pack a flavorful punch. I ordered the quinoa bowl(comes with a poached egg on top) and got a slice of the veggie quiche. I tried half of each. Both were tasty. The coffee was tasty too. The girl at the register was helpful and made good suggestions. They all worked out well. The tables and lounge area were comfortable and inviting. The chandeliers were great. There are water bowls for dogs outside and sturdy to go containers. I think this place is worth a try.

    Chocolate Chip cookies

Well, I actually think I found the best chocolate chip cookie in this country. It's right here at the Cookie Café in Agoura Hills. I was in the mood to have a chocolate chip cookie today, but I didn't want to bake any myself because it's been too hot to use the oven. I thought, let somebody else do it. Naturally, I did a yelp search and stumbled onto this place They serve a few different food items, about 3 to 5 breakfast items, and then they bake chocolate chip cookies. That is the only kind of cookie they have. There is nothing fancy about it, and now that I have had one, it quite clearly speaks for itself, needs no adornment, fanciness, or even variations on that theme. It needs to be left alone because it is outstanding. The batch of six cookies that we purchased was incredibly fresh, soft to the core, yet with the slightest light crunch around the edges. Loads of chocolatey pools, and of course, what I look for most, that hint of salt that makes the entire cookie pop with amazing flavor. I don't care what else this place makes, it's that cookie that is the star of their show. Kudos to you, Cookie Cafe. Brilliantly done.

You have to love randomly finding small local gems, such as this place. I walked in, not expecting too much, and was made a loyal customer just by "Trissy" offering me a free cookie to see how they tasted. She could tell I was a bit skeptical at first. These are by far THE BEST cookies I have tasted in a while. You can tell they are hand-made with natural ingredients...well I did watch Tony make a batch of chocolate chip and snickerdoodles while I was waiting on my Vanilla Latte. But I have to give this place their props for a great tasting product, great service, and a welcoming and cozy environment that makes you want to sit and enjoy your coffee, cookie, or other food that they offer. This place even sells their own swag! I can't wait to return.

As far as coffee goes I give it a 4/5 my drink while good it was nothing special. Did the trick as far as caffeine is concerned but just had milk and mocha sauce. Now the cookies... wow! That is what you come here for. Easily a 5 out of 5 wow especially when they are fresh from the oven. I made the mistake of buying only a 1/2 dozen. I should have gotten a dozen. The inside of this place has a dragon den which you can sip on your coffee and feel like you are at home. They have a fireplace with plenty of seating and it feels cozy. Service was great and young man told me to go with the cookies instead of the scone. Glad I listened will be back for sure.

Spinach and bacon quiche (only $6!!!)
    Wendy L.

Quiche is one of my favorite things to eat. In fact, I periodically search for "Quiche Near Me" on Yelp. I haven't been able to find anything suitable for the craving. UNTIL NOW! I'm overjoyed that this place is just down the street from me. It's on TO Blvd. east of Lindero. It's next Green Onion Chinese Food, if that helps. The ambiance is very cool. It's got a cozy library vibe. The service is good and friendly, although I overheard a number of mistakes with other people's orders. As I said, the quiche was fantastic. I got the spinach bacon quiche. It was very bacon-forward, and the spinach is just on top. The crust was hearty and a good ratio to the cheese. The service took a long time but it always takes a bit of time to warm up quiche good enough, which this was. The best part is that it was only $6! I know it's twice as much at most other places! Anyway, so glad to have found this place. So grateful for Yelp for throwing up a pic of the quiche and pie case on my homepage because they know what I like. Nice and scary at the same time.

Cute chocolate chip cookie but giant on flavor

What a CUTE and DELICIOUS neighborhood restaurant! I think it should be called the Comfort Cafe because that's what you get when you eat here! The breakfast burrito was packed with goodness and the chocolate chip cookie was SO yummy! I was not impressed with the look of the cookie BUT then I tasted it and was blown away! It is amazing! I highly suggest getting these amazing cookies! To drink I ordered a oat milk chai, it was a little less chai then I prefer but still ok. I will definitely be bringing my family back to this Comfort Cafe soon! For dine in or take out!

Thank you Sarah! We all loved our breakfasts! We will be back again soon

The keto quiche with almond flour crust was to die for!!! But I didn't have to die because it was ultra low carb and listed the net carb count on the menu, so it was a safe food for me. LI'm not exaggerating when I say it's one of the best things I've ever eaten at a cafe! It had only 6 g of net carbs and was also vegan and gluten-free. It was so good, everyone I was dining with wanted to order it. As a Type 1 diabetic who needs to carefully control my carb intake and know exactly how many carbs are in food so that I can take the appropriate amount of insulin, eating outside of my home often feels like a huge game of risk. So when I encounter a place that has keto items on the menu and lists the amount of net carbs so that I know how much insulin to take, I am actually overwhelmed with gratitude. When there's an item like this on a menu for anyone on a keto diet, of which there's so many of us for many different reasons, I feel like the people making that decision are showing a kindness and respect to the diversity of their customers' needs. It's the most welcoming thing a business can do. My dream is that one day, every cafe offers this. This quiche was so good, I would be willing to make the drive to Westlake Village just to eat it. The staff was also really kind, checking other sugar and carb counts for other dishes so that I can understand more about the menu. Everything at The Royal Egg was just all class. They set the table for us after my friend called in to book right before visit and my kid and myself were able to sit right in after we arrived. Really loved their service. Kids mostly ordered burgers and sandwiches. The burgers were in decent size and the fries( both French fries and steak fries) were very satisfactory. I gotta be honest the price was a bit over my expectation. But again service was really good and we were able to spend an hour and a half there to escape the heat outside. I would be happy to be back with friends who want to hang out there. I hope I see a few more Asian stomach friendly menu items, and middle-class budget friendly options are welcome too!

Everything was great about this place with ONE exception...I'll get to that soon! The service was…read morefast, friendly and efficient! The food was amazing! I had a grilled turkey pastrami and it was LOADED! The meat was so tender. The fresh avocado and Russian dressing perfectly complemented the sandwich. The bread was grilled perfectly. My husband ordered the tuna melt. He was able to sample the tuna before placing an order. He loved it. The onion rings and sweet potato fries were yummy as well. So, the only reason why this is not a 5 star review is because of the big long haired dog that was allowed in the dining area. This wasn't a service dog or an emotional support animal. There was ample space in the outdoor dining area. I don't find pets inside restaurants sanitary. Sorry, not trying to hate on the pooch, but there is a time and place. I love their sandwiches, but I would order to go next time.

Drove all the way from Burbank just to check out Carrara's Pastry Shop in Agoura Hills--and wow,…read morethey absolutely did not disappoint. It's a small, charming café with a cozy atmosphere, featuring old-school car collectibles displayed on a shelf that add a unique touch. They also offer outdoor seating where you can enjoy your desserts surrounded by lush greenery, natural foliage, and a peaceful little waterfall pond. The service was great as well, they were friendly and welcoming and answered all my questions. suggested I definitely I ended up picking up a chocolate and hazelnut cake with an incredibly soft, spongy interior that was perfectly balanced and rich without being overwhelming. I also grabbed a single serving of the blueberry cheesecake, which was light, airy, and still decadently satisfying--definitely worth every spoonful. The rum babas were a standout: bite-sized, soaked in Jamaican rum, filled with Chantilly cream, and topped with a raspberry. So flavorful and unique--each bite was indulgent without being too heavy. And then there was the Velina cake... oh my goodness. A beautiful sponge layered with chocolate mousse and hazelnut mousse, all covered in a glossy dark chocolate glaze. It was so rich and decadent that I had to slow myself down just to fully enjoy every bite. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully made, and worth the drive. I'd absolutely come back again.

We were greeted right away, and we let one of the people working there know we wanted to take a look around as it was our first time stopping in, which was okay. The shop itself was empty. We took a look at the ice cream selection, the full cakes, and then the pastries. Everything looked really good. We decided on a chocolate trilogia pastry and a red velvet pastry to go. The transaction went well. When we got home, we ate the goodies. The trilogia was fresh and had great flavor. The red velvet, unfortunately, did not meet expectations. The cake part was dry, and the frosting was dense and had little flavor. Maybe I just ended up getting an older one, but at $8.25, I had expected a much better item. The service was great, but as a red velvet lover, the flavor was not as expected. I would potentially try again but would sample some other treats.
