This is a dessert shop that also sells milk tea. Those who enjoy desserts should definitely give it a try.

Fosters is amazing!!! The owners are adorable and kind making the service experience impeccable. The vibe makes you feel at home. The donuts are top tier, especially the cronut!! Or maple bacon!!! I mean all of them. Get a variety, you won't be disappointed.

My husbands weakness is donuts lol so naturally when I spotted Fosters when driving by - we had to stop in. They've been open for 35 years and offer basically everything a classic donut shop would have. My husband was so excited to see and try an unglazed chocolate old fashioned for the first time. He loves old fashioneds and he really liked it. Pretty much everything we had was yummy. We got a mix of old fashioned, cake and raised donuts. The blueberry cake had a bit of an oily taste but overall everything was good.

You know when you think no frills, but awesome food? This is it. Great doughnuts, nice selection, includuing non doughnuts like ham and cheese. Service was quick abd effort. Parking was plenty and there's a small seating area if you want to eat there.

Fosters Donuts is your spot for the best donuts around! Family owned for 35 years. Fresh, tasty, beautifully made donuts and the coffee is always piping hot. This store has a wide variety to choose from. Try the cronut holes for a real treat. The lady running the show is nice with a great sense of humor. There are tables inside the small, clean dining area if you choose to eat inside.

I Love Boston creme donuts.... This one was one of the best I've had... right balance of creme and donut. Not too sweet... And so fresh!

Our family is visiting and bought us a dozen donuts from Foster's. We will DEFINITELY be back. The cronuts were a bit too sweet for my taste, but others enjoyed them. My family reported friendly staff, easy parking, and no line. Prices were comparable to other local shops.

Best Donuts EVER!!! but especially the old fashioneds!!!!

I love that their donuts are more cakey. Everything was very yummy and I enjoyed their apple fritter the best! It was my first time trying cronuts, and Foster's did not disappoint. It has the texture of a croissant and the flavors of a donut. The staff was very friendly. They seemed to have a lot of regular customers, and the atmosphere was welcoming. A dozen regular donuts were $16. It was a bit difficult figuring out the prices of each item. We ordered a dozen and it came out to $26. I would come back again.

I found this spot online and headed over and Im glad I did. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the owners, husband and wife team who immediately made me feel welcome. They were eager to walk me through the menu, offered great suggestions, and were incredibly patient while my brain was still waking up at 9am lol. Their kindness and humor made me feel right at home. This place also feels homey. If you take a moment to look around, you'll notice the personal touches such as the artwork, photos, and thoughtful details that tell a story of their family. Okay Now to get to the good stuff the drinks and bites are stellar, here's what I got: I finally found a seriously addicting chai here in the 805. I'm very picky about chai, so when Robin insisted "you're trying this" so I listened and I'm so glad I did haha. Freshly brewed, no artificial flavors, perfectly spiced. I think I would dub this one of the BEST chai's I've ever had. 10/10. Their classic breakfast bites hit the spot too. I had a breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon and a fresh egg. Simple but good. I'd get this again but also would be open to trying some of their other bites. 8/10. The handmade bakery section here was unreal. The apple pastry I ordered was pure nostalgia and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of their daily baked goods. The selection was huge and lots of different options to try. I think their passionfruit pastry will be calling my name next time. Lastly I leave you with a Fun fact: if you're a football fan or into chess, this is your cafe. Chess tables are available for playing at and it's the perfect morning spot to catch matches over coffee and pastries. Liverpool fans especially welcome here ;) Sorry it took me so long to find this spot but they've got a new fan now!

I found the atmosphere to be so inviting, warm and modern with plenty of seating and a really nice outside patio. I would also mention that's it's so nice not to lumped in the middle of a strip mall like, ' Longevity in TO & Ragamuffin in Newbury Park' . I love the design of the interior! I have been to a ton of coffee locations in the area, ( Westlake, TO, Newbury Park, Oxnard, Ventura , Santa Barbara, Malibu) and this Cafe Ficelle location is up there with the best of them. Yes the parking is not perfect- but....the service I found on my, 'so far 5 visits' has been excellent and my ' cappuccinos' have been perfectly made and tasted superb. I also had a Tri Tip sandwich which I also found to be really tasty. I am a fan and would encourage you to give it a shot and look past the 3.7 stars on Yelp- I hope this location makes it as the Pizza place that was next to it didn't.

Crusty, toasted baguette, tender tri-tip, and perfectly melted Gruyere. The dipping sauce was rich and flavorful, a perfect complement. Each sandwich also came with a fresh side salad of arugula and goat cheese. The croissants were very good. We arrived close to closing, so the pastries may not have been at peak freshness. I would recommend enjoying them earlier in the day, ideally with coffee or tea. Since we were sharing, our server sliced each croissant in three pieces. Thank you! The cafe itself is charming, with warm dark wood, cozy seating, and a fireplace that adds to the ambiance. Indoor temperature was a bit cool during our visit, but still a pleasant environment, and there is outdoor seating as well. The staff was friendly and service was quick. One small note: it would help if the staff had a better grasp of the menu and felt more confident describing it. The food speaks for itself and is worth highlighting. Parking was close and easy, and I especially enjoyed the light jazz playing in the background, including standards sung beautifully by Ella Fitzgerald. P.S. I always forget to snap photos. The sandwich was Insta-worthy.

I found Cake and Love, saw the reviews and thought "why not?" I love supporting local small businesses. I knew the designs weren't up to par compared to other places, however I read that the cakes tasted really good. My friend Marc ordered them and requested 4 cupcakes but the owner said she could only do a dozen. The design requested for the cupcakes was to write the name on 4 and the rest with birthday + Halloween designs. And he ordered four different flavors. She had a week to prepare and offered to drop them off. Not only was she an hour late, but she practically rushed off without giving us a chance to look at the cupcakes to check them. You can only imagine our disappointment when we opened the box. It looked absolutely terrible, rushed and as if a child decorated these. These cupcakes were for an adult. The taste was just ok too. The chocolate cakes were mushy, the red velvet were dry and the other two were 'eh.' It was too late to find something else so we sucked it up and used them to sing happy birthday anyway. Regardless if there was any mis-communication, this is not acceptable. And I feel that we deserve a refund.

I also grabbed a single serving of the blueberry cheesecake, which was light, airy, and still decadently satisfying--definitely worth every spoonful. The rum babas were a standout: bite-sized, soaked in Jamaican rum, filled with Chantilly cream, and topped with a raspberry. So flavorful and unique--each bite was indulgent without being too heavy. And then there was the Velina cake... oh my goodness. A beautiful sponge layered with chocolate mousse and hazelnut mousse, all covered in a glossy dark chocolate glaze. It was so rich and decadent that I had to slow myself down just to fully enjoy every bite. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully made, and worth the drive. I'd absolutely come back again.

The transaction went well. When we got home, we ate the goodies. The trilogia was fresh and had great flavor. The red velvet, unfortunately, did not meet expectations. The cake part was dry, and the frosting was dense and had little flavor. Maybe I just ended up getting an older one, but at $8.25, I had expected a much better item.
