Still a favorite place! On my way back from Malibu I was craving a glass of wine and sit outside on this gorgeous day so made sure to stop by on my way home. Glad to have been able to try some wine options but I settled on the Rose. Hit the spot!

This winery feels very homey/dreamy. There's the main house where you get your wine and.once you do that and venture out, you can find your own little corner in the little "booths" that felt like you have your own little room or put in the patio to enjoy the sun or inside behind the counter, where you can play board games (and they have a little stage too) or at the back where there's a coffee truck (closed while we were there) and there's also a trailer of sort where you can order food. The orange wine that we got was absolutely delicious and we would definitely come back here to chill and enjoy the space.

    Well balanced White from Switzerland.

It was a beautiful day to enjoy a glass, ok a bottle of wine at Cornell. Enjoyed it on the front patio, only it's a challenge for talking, as it's also great weather for dusting off the BMW, Kawasaki or put the top down on the roadster and cruise the canyon roads. Still a lovely experience to enjoy some wine, in nature, emersed in the woodsy canyon air.

Cornell Wine is a diamond among rocks. There is no place like it, the property is rustic and sprawling. There are private seating areas carved out. There is live music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the wine is divine. I had an Italian Verdicchio and it was perfection! You just need to visit for yourself. There are so many things to see and feel and experience here. Enjoy!

Cute wooden rustic wine shop right on the roadside- a great stop to enjoy the surrounding scenery when in the area. You go inside and buy a bottle of wine, then find a seat outside or inside to sit and enjoy the wine. They also have light bites and little gifts to browse while in the shop too. Their staff are very knowledgeable on the wine sold- we are not the biggest wine drinkers so asked for recommendations and they gave us a few tasters to pick out which wine we preferred. Got a couple of bottles of the rose - nice flavors and served chilled. You can sit as long as you want to sip at the wine and enjoy the views. We spent a couple of hours here on a sunny weekend day. Also depending on the day/time they have live music inside too! Just a really nice relaxed vibe, pricing isn't too steep either for the wine. A perfect hidden gem in the hills.

What a special way to spend a weekend day. Sipping wine and enjoying a beautiful day outside. We were greeted by Danny who had some wonderful suggestions for our tasting. We decided to do a flight of wine and sit outside to enjoy our choices. After sipping on our wines in the garden, we made our way back inside to purchase bottles to go. Great history and delicious wines made for a perfect Saturday.

I love this place so much as I do The Old Place next door, both of which we only very recently discovered. We live in Rancho Palos Verdes and have been brought to the area by an unfortunate family circumstance that will continue to bring us to the area weekly for the foreseeable future (at least for 6 weeks). After driving by a week ago, we knew we had to stop. The entire compound of The Cornell Wine Co. as well as The Old Place is amazing; it's like stepping back in time. On our first visit, we grabbed a couple glasses of wine inside and played some games with our son. (They have a bunch of cool games to play with in a very comfy, cozy interior space.) On our next weekly visit, we went yesterday before they opened and plunked ourselves down on the comfy sofa outside in the "Art Garden" to conduct some items of business as a very friendly and had to be resident peacock came to make our acquaintance. As I entertained some business calls, I walked along the art (along with George the Peacock as I affectionately named him) and made my way out back to admire the old Ford in the back lot. Like I said, this entire compound is an absolute must visit. (Sorry to the regulars, who must hate visitors from the likes of Rancho Palos Verdes). We visited again today after an hour and 40 minute drive in to visit our family member and again after the visit. The space itself is just so cool and comforting and even the bathroom inside off the entertainment stage is cool, complete with a urinal for us dudes. We had to leave before tonight's entertainment but, of course, we'll be back again next week and we look forward to trying to catch it again!

Such an amazing place tucked away in Agoura! So much space to enjoy their large variety of wines and top notch charcuterie. I have seriously never had a charcuterie box be so good. The wine tasting servings were plentiful and I loved each wine I tried. It feels like a boujee camping trip here and I loved it!!

What a neat place tucked in the woods on a windy road in Old Agoura! Stepping in to this place feels like you are miles away from Los Angeles and stepping back in time! Looks like an old western scene! Worth a stop to just look around...or a place to kick back with some refreshments! You can purchase a bottle of wine or a glass. Or even do a tasting. They have a good number of wine bottle offerings! Plus you can pair your drink with some cheese and fresh bread!if you are not a wine fan, there is also non alcoholic drinks in the fridge as well as cider. One you grab your drinks, there is great seating areas throughout the grounds: you can sit inside or you can grab a picnic bench or table to kick back among friends! This place also offers a super cute shop. The shop sells vintage clothes, jewelry, cool hats and more. Plus some nights they offer music! Definitely worth a stop if you are looking to get away from the city and relax in a cool environment!

Tucked away in the Santa Monica mtns are these little LA gems. I've been coming to visit the Old Place and this winery for nearly a decade. It's always an elegant rustic treat, and for many years a local malibu hang. Some nights prior they would have musicians on the guitar performing, with a peacock wandering outside on acres of a ranch. Shrubs and wildflowers grown all in full bloom. On sunny Sunday mornings, all the bikers ride on by and others take their rare car collections for a spin. This time around I've encountered many more tourists but for me, it's always a local spot for us Angelenos. Where we find a respite from the city, and enjoy friends and family. Shop around this cute lil store they have, and grab a sandwich @the Old Place and or wine tasting here. It's an enjoyable experience, I always feel like I have roots here. It's nice to be connected to the earth. I do wish they had some small snacks or finger foods as a side menu. That would be wonderful as well. :) Thanks guys see ya shortly.

Came here with a few friends and had an absolutely lovely time. We snagged a good picnic table outside and the place was filled with the smell of BBQ from the place next door. That place to be honest seems like an absolute rip, but the Cornell Winery has some cute bites. We got some cheese, and bread and crackers, some tinned fish that was actually delicious and a wine tasting. The wine tasting is three full glasses for $25. I had both whites and the rose. All three were great, and definitely recommend the rose. The have a cute seating area inside also that would be good for larger groups or a bigger party. Overall a great place to come and highly recommend.

Charming, rustic, western town inspired winery tucked away in the hills! It is such a scenic and beautiful place with lively peacocks wandering around as well as a few donkeys behind a cute little fenced area. They have a fun little shop inside as well with tons of vintage books films, and they also have cold pressed juices and extra cheese for sale inside the little restaurant next-door serves amazing barbecue burgers, salad sandwiches and they also have a breakfast menu. We got the BLT pork sandwich, the breakfast burrito and a cheese plate and a large bottle of rosé to share between my friend and I the food was amazing so decadent and rich. I highly recommend splitting a plate between two people because the portions were huge. I wasn't able to finish the whole thing and took my sandwich to go and gave it to my boyfriend later we went on Easter day and it was super crowded but we still found places to sit inside as well as outside when we went to go eat everyone was very nice, the young lady in the front recommended a fresh rose for us and service was very fast. We left feeling so happy and wanting to return again~~~~

I've been to this winery a number of times and I knew it was time for me to say how amazing this place is. Cornell winery is an indoor / outdoor winery in Malibu that makes you feel as if you transported out of Malibu / Los Angeles and into a cozy forest. You have the choice to sit inside or outside with the outside having shaded cozy areas big enough for multiple people. The inside is fun as well with multiple tables and even a large selection of games you can choose from with your group. They offer numerous wine tastings or even bottles to purchase. They also have charcuterie boards that you can purchase with your wines. Every wine I have had here is delicious and I have done the tastings multiple times. The staff here are always so pleasant and helpful. I have had numerous discussions with them concerning their wines and their selections. I will continue to come here and bring more people when they come visit me! If you are outside, look for the beautiful animals around the area!

I was hit with valet parking ($7 charge) as soon as I arrived so I was a little worried it might be a little snooty but the vibe was super casual once we were inside. After parking we made our way into the ordering area which has both a food ordering section and bar section. The menu is fairly basic but there are options for just about everyone from salads and paninis to pizzas. I got a pepperoni pizza and a red sangria while my husband got a chicken Caesar salad. The salad was pretty typical, nothing standout about it. But the pizza was actually pretty good. It has a very thin, cracker-like crust and decent flavors. After ordering at the counter, you take the buzzer and go grab a table in one of their many seating areas. I first stopped by the bar area to grab my sangria though. Even for a busy Easter Sunday, there was more than enough seating for all the people there. Take my advice and do a lap so you know where to sit before committing to a spot. We sat right up front where everyone else was. But after eating , I took my sangria and went on a stroll through the little vineyard and other seating areas there. You truly feel like you stepped into Disneyland or Italy when you are there. It's this beautiful little working vineyard in the middle of Westlake Village. Prices were a little steep for the food quality but the ambiance was totally worth it. They even had a live jazz trio playing which added to the vibe. There were tons of families having lunch there and I think that on a normal weekend this place is probably a great spot to come with a group of friends for a little day drinking and wine tasting.

Waited in line to order at 10.40am, how about some pizza which is clearly written as a lunch menu that begins at 11:00 a.m.? Waited in line to order wasting 20 minutes only for the cashier to say that pizza will not be served for another hour and that the pit is closed. Then why the fuck do you put it on your lunch menu and state that lunch begins at 11:00 a.m.? You cannot order any lunch items before 11:00. You cannot order any breakfast items after 11:00. I was there at 10:40 and they wouldn't even put it in or grant my request of simply starting a lunch order at 11:00 as long as I get the order in and pay so I don't have to wait in line again all over. Easy one (actually not even one just left) and done after the cashier seems to enjoy my suffering on Mother's Day with a group of people looking at me as I expressed my frustration that I could not order what I wanted when I wanted even if it was on time or not. Pathetic as can be. Left immediately after was told I can't order pizza at 11:00 when lunch starts. Good luck.

The restaurant is small, with around 10 tables, and only about half were occupied, so it was not busy. We were seated at a nice table, but that was the highlight of the evening. The server took our order and that was essentially the last interaction we had with them. The food took about 45 minutes to come out for a simple pizza and pasta. When it did arrive, it was very mediocre. Nothing memorable, and honestly worse than many chain restaurants. Service was the main issue. Every time we needed water, utensils, or anything at all, we had to physically get up and ask the busser for help. I repeatedly tried to get the server's attention, but he avoided eye contact and never checked on our table. We also wanted more bread, but there was no one available to ask. Because it was my birthday, I expected at least a basic acknowledgment. We were never offered a dessert menu or asked about preferences. Instead, a tiramisu was brought to the table with a candle without asking. I am highly allergic to chocolate and caffeine, so I couldn't eat it at all. To make matters worse, no forks or spoons were provided with the dessert. After waiting several minutes, I had to get up again to ask for utensils. I would not return to this restaurant. The service was unacceptable, the food was mediocre, and the overall experience completely missed the mark for a birthday dinner.
