The landscaping, the lush plants, and the rolling vineyard scenery are just stunning. The layout for the wedding ceremony was perfect as everything was set up overlooking the Malibu canyon and the grapevines. We caught the sunset during the reception, and it was pure magic. Service was outstanding from start to finish. Valet parking was smooth and efficient, and the bar was fully stocked with bartenders who actually kept the line moving fast. The sound system was great too (no awkward mic feedback or muffled music), and once the sun went down and the temperature dropped, they had fire pits going to keep everyone warm and cozy. Such a beautiful, well-run hidden place. If you get invited to an event here, absolutely go!

I love the rustic charm of this place. It's unexpected when you're driving up. It's nestled in a beautiful spot with the mountains and trees. You can hear animals in the distance and they have wild peacocks roaming the grounds. It's majestic to me and just my vibe. Since I found this place a few years ago, I have probably celebrated my last three birthdays here. I have also brought friends inbetween and introduced them to my beautiful find! It has a cabin like vibe to it. When you walk in they racks of wine to choose from. They have some fun local vendors that sell their artwork here. They also have premade charcuterie boards you can buy or nice snacks to accompany your wine. Then you can pick your wine or do a flight with three tastings. After you can roam the grounds and find a cute look nook in a tree, or a comfy chair out front to look at the views, or one of the many picnic tables off on the sides. They have so many cute places to sit and enjoy your wine. If I'm hungry, I will go to The Old Place next door and get a steak to bring back to my table as well. They have really good food. Everytime I have gone, the time literally flies by. Sometimes I have gone from open to nearly closing time. You just lose track of time here. I highly recommend going. You won't regret it. They also host events and you can make a reservation if you have a few people going. I love to reserve the back table.

It was a little "West" for some people, but 4pm on Friday, and everyone got there without too much traffic. When we arrived, the windows were open, a nice breeze came through, there was a great wine selection, and Greg was an awesome host (educating the newbies about the wines, talking LPs). My team picked out LPs from Phil Collins to Drake to Sade to Amy Winehouse that Greg put on while we enjoyed the afternoon. Yes, it's a great place to do wine flights, or weekend evening live music, or just a bottle with friends, but the work happy hour hit a wonderfully refreshing note - and the entire crew loved it. I highly suggest opting for Nabu as a great happy hour place.

CRUSHED. IT. Debby is like the cool aunt who brings wine AND emotional support, and Mike is the kind of guy who probably knows how to fix a carburetor and pair it with a nice Barbera. These two are warm, welcoming, and an absolute dream to work with. They went above and beyond to make the event a success -- helping with setup, being wildly gracious hosts, and just creating a vibe that was classy, cozy, and a little bit magical. If Napa had a chill, funny cousin who was actually fun to hang out with, it would be Sunland Vintage. The wine? Chef's kiss. The space? Cozy. The service? A+ with extra credit. If you're looking to sip great wine, support amazing people, and/or fall in love with two wonderful humans named Debby & Mike, this is the spot. Much to my surprise, it was about as lively as I had remembered it. The Alley was established during Covid times and offered a retreat to escape from the humdrum of the homestead. These days, its friendly vibe welcomes neighbors and visitors with a backyard setting strewn with twinkle lights and family-style tables. It's a causal scene and easy to soak in the live music, sunlight/moonlight, and neighborly banter. The layout resembles an alley with shops on either side, big open doors invite you to grab something to eat, sample a drink, or shop for handmade gifts. On one side, you've got craft brews and coffee roasters. On the other side, it's local wines and piping hot pizzas. Dogs are welcome all around. At the center of it all, there's live music on the weekends. Modeled after a Beer & Wine Garden concept, The Alley features Enegren Brewery (beer), Lucas Sellers (wine), California Coffee Republic (java), Fire & Vice (pizza), and The Craft House (non-alcoholic tchotchkes). As a self-proclaimed wino, I opted for a sampling of the Lucas Sellers Wines. Ashley, who was behind the bar and top of the pours, gave me good suggestions and offered anecdotes about each wine on tap. At the end of the night, my light pinot paired perfectly with the Mushroom Arugula pizza from Fire & Vice. And I felt right at home, surrounded by friends.
