Longevity Coffee has lived up to it's name for lasting as long as it has in Thousand Oaks. Located on TO Blvd but kind of off the beaten path, Longevity is a nice little coffee escape in the Conejo Valley. The aspect that really drew me to Longevity is their low acidic options. The couple of drinks I've enjoyed are very flavorful, smooth, and easy to drink. Although not the cheapest coffee options around, the quality of their product does seem to justify the price. There's decent indoor seating for patrons to enjoy their drinks and now there's a small outdoor patio as well. There is plenty of parking available throughout the day too. So if you're seeking a coffee option without the hustle/bustle of a chain, then give Longevity a shot (of espresso)! read more

I didn't know what to expect coming to longevity. To be honest, I had to have the cashier explain half of the menu to me because a lot of their ingredients were new to me. The shop is cute inside. Very bright and filled with plants! We ordered a regular coffee, a specialty jing latte and two smoothie bowls; one with açaí and one with dragonfruit. We very much enjoyed the coffee! Very drinkable, not too bitter. The smoothie bowls were not great. The bases were very icy and near flavorless. I did enjoy the fruit and coconut flakes on top! But for $12 per bowl, it wasn't worth it. For two coffees and two smoothie bowls we spent $35! We left feeling very unsatisfied with our breakfast. Loved the outdoor seating area! Happy they had umbrella to provide shade. In the end, I'm not itching to go back any time soon. If I were to revisit it would just be for the coffee. read more

I am 100% gluten-free and wanted to visit Longevity coffee because I knew they had options for my allergy. I was very happy with the large menu, all listing if an item was gluten-free. This made it very appealing to visit, and exciting to eat! I have been to this cafe a couple of times, because I love it, so I will rate the items I have had during my visits. - Hot Lavender Latte (9/10): This was so delicious. The milk froth was perfect, and the most amazing way to start my morning. - Hot Rose Latte (2/10): Definitely not my jam. I tend to enjoy rose flavored things, but this one I could not get behind. Perfect for someone who really enjoys the flavor of coffee. However, I asked the barista if she would be able to remake my drink, and she very politely did! Bonus points to her! - Chocolate Protein Bowl (8/10): In order to make this item gluten-free, I did not get the granola. But I LOVED the flavor, texture and experience of this bowl. It kept me filled throughout the day too! - Vanilla Protein Bowl (6/10): Same thing, without granola. I didn't enjoy this flavor as much, but it was still very enjoyable. - GF Protein Pancakes (9/10): Some of the best GF pancakes I have ever had! They were perfectly fluffy, and tasted amazing! What a great local find for healthy and delicious breakfast and heavenly coffee drinks. The staff here are so nice and the food portions are just right. Treat yourself to the lavender latte and the Açaí Immortal Bowl topped with Coconut Whip. The Complete Breakfast Bowl , Avocado Toast, and Egg Salad Toast are also delicious. I got the caramel Frappuccino with the added minerals and some coconut wip cream it's creamy and sweet and healthy and organic! But it was almost $15!! . I really think that's too high priced! So do not come here as much, but it is a nice "treat" once in a while... I would frequent this place a lot more if it wasn't so expensive. They would get alot more money out of me! I would say generally the staff is never really that friendly with me when I do come in. Not even the owner. I ordered the breakfast burrito, avocado toast, Chagga iced cappuccino with almond milk, and a chocolate donut. All to go. It was all really good and traveled well too. I am very Impressed. The food came with dipping sauces and their drink was delicious. Vegan and organic and super tasty. It is a bit expensive. So not a daily thing for me. Unique coffee shop in the area! There's plenty of parking in the shopping center and lots of seating inside. The staff is very friendly. The shop has organic, vegan, low acid, and other health beneficial options. I tried a simple iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was just ok for my palate. I also ordered a spicy avocado toast with eggs and it was delicious. I paid almost $23 for these two items, which is pretty steep. Was looking forward to this place because they make their own almond and oatmilk. This is definitely something new for me. Most places I go to is store bought. I ordered the lavender latte with oatmilk. You can really smell the lavender. After taking a sip, you can definitely taste the lavender. In fact, they put a in a lot of syrup. I did notice that there was a sourness at the finish and the coffee was a little bit grainy. Not really sure where the graininess is from. But the sourness could be from the oatmilk as I get the same taste from freshly made soy milk. Was a little disappointed overall. For starters the coffee was not good. It tasted like flavored syrup with instant coffee... me and my girlfriend came twice over the last 3 months driving through the area just to be disappointed every time. The cherry on top for me personally was when I used the restroom on my last trip and saw the "most expensive seat in Thousand Oaks" nonsense. Basically a sign they made complaining about how the city made them remove their tables/seats because they didn't provide a restroom. And that you should appreciate the fact that they are spending a little extra on the space JUST to provide us with a restroom. What coffee shop expects you to take a seat and stay there to study/work without providing or wanting to provide a restroom. And after reading some reviews, apparently they don't have wifi either, I could be wrong on that part but that's just one of many things. Worst place I've been to in a while. You can say all you want about the coffee, I'd say it's mediocre at best, but from an advertising, artistic, and customer service perspective, this place is downright offensive. Both cashiers I encountered have quite an unbothered demeanor. The decor is hideous and is reminiscent of a children's preschool, quite the opposite of the "enlightened" sophisticated environment they seem to be going for. Buddhist paraphernalia completely surround the shop, and I am not anti religious by any means but that's about as appealing as drinking your Starbucks next to a life sized recreation of Jesus' birth in the stable. There is an uncomfortably large buddha statue in the corner that you get to look at, conveniently placed in front of the television that plays nothing other than advertisements for the shop you're already in. One last note of concern- it appears that there is an "accomplished" writer for children's books that works here and has taken the liberty of making the entire restroom his billboard. Pretentiousness does not even begin to cover it, I'd even go as far to say it's borderline delusional. The topics of the books are disgusting, and concerning to say the least. If it were up to me the writer of "I'm Swimming in the Toilet, Please Don't Flush" and "Sigfried's Smelly Socks" should be put on a watchlist and not allowed within 15 miles of a preschool. And then say your surprised that someone who bought it actually cares. Coffee/beans are acceptable if you're not discerning. But if you care about coffee, go to Ragamuffin. I'll let you guess which one is the light and which one is the dark roast in the picture below... The workers were "kind" in the sense that they were not rude. But didn't seem to care about the quality of their products all that much. Responding to Gina: I appreciate the response but this feels right out of a brochure. It was not made clear to me in store that despite "light roast" being on the bag, I was not getting a light roast. It's also not discernable what the difference between your roasts are when they look so similar. Generally, despite me going in to get answers, I felt I was being dismissed. Nobody really seemed to care about my questions or the coffee. The priority seems to be a hollow branding with a slew of buzzwords. Good coffee seems to come second. I'll agree the coffee isn't bad. This seems to be a community favorite, but honestly it's not my favorite. I have got really bad stomach aches twice coming here. Idk if it's their coffee, or if they make a mistake with the milk, and I even double checked with barista bc I instantly felt unwell and she was semi rude I suggested she may have got it wrong. Upon walking in, it's a clean & cute atmosphere. Why I chose this place was because me and my boyfriend were in Malibu and craving coffee so we were searching for Keto options on Yelp & this popped up. One of the employees greeted us but you get this vibe that she doesn't wanna be there, luckily there was another guy who was very friendly and over powered her. We had questions about the Keto coffee options & she wasn't very helpful, like I said luckily the guy stepped in and helped us out. He was awesome and made sure that our drinks were strictly keto. So the drinks... My boyfriend & I both got Keto coffee bombs, I got iced & he got blended. We were really excited for this as I saw another Yelp review that it was really good, plus the guy really hyped it up saying that it tasted like a milkshake. Sounds enticing right?! But unfortunately, it looked and tasted a bit sad. We paid $16 for both drinks and not sure what I paid for to be honest :/ Maybe it was the interesting bathroom that I had fun looking at? Lol. However you get what you pay for, & I think it is worth the value. The aesthetics of this place is beautiful, it seems like a great place to sit with friends or just grab something. Service here is very great, employees are super kind. They offer loads of healthy snacks & they serve Karma Bakery goods. (Which is a bakery also located in Westlake Village). They take their name very seriously lol. Place smells like a Chinese herb shop and they have crystals and a Buddha inside, and there's a lot of plants hanging around. They have a lot of unique drinks, with their "Jing city" seeming to be their specialty. Overall a really chill ambience. Not having the time to find out what a Jing city is, I decided to opt for a honey rose latte. The texture was good and the coffee was smooth, but to be honest I couldn't taste really... anything? Coffee, honey, and rose flavors were kind of drowned out. Could be because I got the 16 oz and there's more milk in there. There's plenty of seating inside! I could see this being a good place to get some work done. There's also outdoor options too with shade if you just wanted to chill with a friend over coffee :) Not sure if I would get this drink again, but I'd be intrigued to come back with a few friends and try the other drinks on the menu. read more

Generally, I really like this restaurant but unfortunately today my experience wasn't that great. The restaurant was very busy therefore I was expecting to wait a while for my takeout order. I was sitting & waiting and I noticed a takeout order being placed behind the counter from an employee from the kitchen area. I'm waiting & waiting, meanwhile the owner of the restaurant is conversing with her friends. Finally, one of the employees saw my order and apologized for it taking so long, but the fact that the owner was not helping her employees when the restaurant was slammed is upsetting. I'm surprised I haven't written a review here yet, since I come almost every day. It's my favorite coffee joint! The owners, Len and Rebecca, are amazing people who I have come to think of as close friends. Firstly, a fairly young shop, I respect their tact and grace in handling all of the changes this past year due to Covid. Their employees are ALWAYS mindful of customer comfort and safety (again- I'm there with my children nearly every day, and I have never seen any employee do anything less than their absolute best to navigate the new guidelines in place). Their coffee: I'm addicted! When I first started coming the options felt a little overwhelming but my favorite quickly became the chocolate jing over ice! It's like a far better version of an iced mocha. Highly recommend the keto bomb for anyone looking for a keto friendly coffee! Their coconut whipped cream is to die for, both of my babies are obsessed with it. Their vegan protein shakes are the best, their ice cream is to die for, their sodas are superb, and if you're looking for a gluten free breakfast, this place will have it. From avocado toast to gf oatmeal and their incredible Açaí bowl, I could literally eat something new here every day, or stick with my usual, and never ever get bored. They also carry gluten free/vegan Karma donuts, which I'm a sucker for. All of this, beside the fact that their coffee is packed full of healing herbs and ingredients!
