Atmosphere If I may suggest... the need to change the plastic utensils to real silverware if you are eating here... you have put so much effort on taste delicious & presentation (the plastic does not seem to go well with the overall upscale vibe... & Tabasco hot sauce would be lovely )
Super delicious, unique pastries! I was stunned with how filled and flavorful these desserts were, each had such a different and distinct taste. You definitely pay for the quality here, worth every penny in my opinion. Very kind employees and beautiful store, I definitely want to come back to try more!
We're pretty loyal to a certain chain of coffee purveyors, and we get rewarded with their loyalty program. We've been in this area of Thousand Oaks a lot recently due to medical appointments nearby. I'd noticed that there was a newer coffee place on the boulevard and suggested to Dear Hubby that I wanted to try it. It's very attractive inside with an artistic flair to the architecture and the decor. We were nicely greeted the second we walked in the door. The friendly cashier answered questions about the options. I ordered a vanilla frappe with added lavender flavor - decaf with oat milk and no whipped cream. It was creamy and delicious! Such a fun changeup from some of my other go-to orders at the other chain. Speaking of chains, this small local group of coffee / gelato / baked goods delectable offerings is said to be family-owned and expanding around Ventura County. They do offer gelato, with several vegan options. Will try that another time. I really enjoyed my frappe beverage, and DH went with a savory filled croissant. He reported that it was excellent. We sat outside on their patio area on the east side of the shop. It extends quite a ways along the building. There's a pedestrian area in between Honey Cup and a sushi bar to the east. A serene water feature anchors that zone, adding some serenity to sitting outdoors and lingering over your food / beverage. They feature a lot of yummy looking baked goods, in addition to the coffee/tea selections and the gelato bar. Now that we've tried it, we will certainly be back.
Thousand Oaks, CA 5 stars $8 The Agapi Croissant is one of the most unique I have tried in a while. A rose and honey cream filled croissant with honey and pistachio topping. I never even knew such a pastry existed! The sweetness was about the level I can stand without being cloyingly sweet. I trend towards savory, but I tried half and it was plenty. The butter cake with lemon curd also looked worth trying. This Albanian inspired pastry shop is pricy but high quality. It is not every day I see so many unique pastries I have never seen before.
Cute little spot. Had the ham and cheese croissant; I do not recommend it as it was very greasy. Lots of folks on their laptops. Nice atmosphere. Will have to try a sandwich one day.

Café is located at the base of an apartment building. Person behind the counter was friendly and informative. Ambiance was clean and welcoming. Was looking for an unsweetened matcha tea and unfortunately the only one available was the ceremonial matcha. So chose a lemon ginger tea instead. Nice bonus is the complimentary house biscotti . I hope this place does well, parking is limited .
Honey Cup Coffeehouse & Patisserie is officially my new favorite café. The space feels so luxurious, and the pastries are truly works of art. I had no idea honey and coffee could pair so perfectly, but my classic honey frappuccino was so yummy. This is a pretty space - the owners have thought of every detail to elevate the patisserie experience. I also love the variety of milk options. I can't wait to come back. Thank you. The cafe is so brightly lit and beautiful with the most excellent service! I bought a fruit pie as a gift & my husband tried the cowboy cookie which was delicious! I am looking forward to trying more flavors -- I will say the prices seem more on the expensive side especially for this area (on par with bakery pricing from Santa Monica/West LA). The parking might be tight given it's just street parking with some limited parking in the adjacent parking complex. Overall, super excited that this new bakery is in the area, and I cannot wait to come back for more!
Honey Cup never disappoints. Their coffees are consistently good. Although I didn't try any of their desserts, but I have at the other locations. I had my eye on the sandwiches, those looked amazing. The only downfall is their parking is slim. Not sure if there is a parking structure that I haven't found yet. There is a few tables on their patio, which are perfect for a sunny day. This location is set in the perfect spot, they get the hustle and bustle on Thousand Oaks Blvd! Service was quick which is always much appreciated!
Wow! This shop has only been open for a day and it's killing it with good offerings! If you want a solid European sandwich, pastry or gelato, then stop in! I stopped in for a drink and ended up with a warm prosciutto and Brie baguette sandwich! The sandwich is solid: crisp bread and flavors that melt in your mouth! Make sure u get heated up! Plus yummy desserts are offered that are made fresh daily! They are so cute looking: so French! The shop offers both indoor and outdoor seating. A nice outdoor patio with plenty of shade. Or you can opt for inside seating. The service was very friendly. I appreciate their patience as I googled over all the yummy offerings. As for parking: park on the street or within the condo complex. Location across from tarantula brewery. Sooooo why are you waiting. Stop in for some food that will make your mouth happy! Cheers!
I have been to the other Honey Cup locations and enjoyed my experience so I wanted to give this one a try. I visited this location during their soft opening. Parking might become an issue with this location, but I was lucky and there was street parking available. The only parking option is street parking, which is limited. The interior of Honey Cup is cute. I love the "Honey, I'm home," sign. The employee who was taking orders was friendly and nice. I decided to get their cinnamon toast crunch iced latte. It is definitely a treat because of how sweet it is, but it is delicious. I am impressed at how thick they make their cold foam. The cold foam is maple flavored and then topped with the cinnamon toast crunch cereal. The cereal sits on top of the foam and doesn't fall through which is impressive. I was planning on getting food when I was there, but thought they food prices were expensive. It was a little more than I wanted to spend on simple items like a chocolate croissant. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend visiting Honey Cup!
I think the coffees I ordered here were good, the service was friendly and quick. Seating inside and out is plentiful. The gelato, pastries , and confections are great. Clean environment. Parking can be iffy. However, it's worth it. I recommend this spot.

I tried Honeycup's ceremonial-grade iced matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla, along with their banoffee gelato. The matcha was visually beautiful--an exceptionally vibrant, bright green--but the flavor was where I was left disappointed. It was extremely bitter and quite astringent, even with oat milk and vanilla to help balance it. For a ceremonial-grade matcha, I would expect more umami, natural sweetness, and a smoother, more rounded finish rather than such an aggressive bitterness. We also tried the banoffee gelato, which was good in its own right, but it wasn't what we expected from something labeled banoffee. We were expecting the classic combination of banana and coffee/caramel flavors. Instead, the flavor reminded me much more of Laffy Taffy--very sweet and distinctly artificial-tasting. Not necessarily bad if that's the flavor profile you're looking for, but it wasn't what we anticipated from banoffee. We have also tried one of their sandwiches before--the prosciutto sandwich--but unfortunately, it wasn't memorable enough to make us want to try another. Seeing the sandwiches sitting in the display case throughout the day also didn't exactly make them look particularly fresh or appetizing, so I wouldn't go out of my way to order one again. One other thing I noticed immediately was the smell when walking in. It smelled remarkably similar to Starbucks. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but take that as you will. They use automatic espresso machines, so if you're looking for the atmosphere and aroma of a more traditional specialty coffee shop with manually prepared espresso, the experience is going to feel different. read more

Service is quick and friendly. 6 staff are working hard to served all the customers and they are working pretty fast. Impressed as this is only their soft opening. Plenty outdoor seating. The decor here are more casual. Table are wiped down as soon as customer leaving. As I sat down enjoying my drinks and cake, I noticed, all the girls always have their smiles on. Figured I was in the area and needed a little pick me up. Ordered a double espresso .. Tiny cup .. bold flavour !! The service was nice, friendly, and ready to take my order. The energy is bubbly and lively. The decor is fun and eclectic reminiscent of an old fashioned bakery or like a See's Candy shop. Happy vibe with lovely aromas. The cinnamon toast crunch coffee is so good ! I took crazy advantage of the 50% sale when they first opened I wish those prices were still around. SO CUTE! The vibes inside were darling. The outside had so much seating and umbrellas for when it's nice and sunny. Got an iced vanilla latte (as always) and was a 6/10 on the coffee scale but how cute the place is and how friendly the staff was would def go again. Stopped in on a late Sunday morning. My husband ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte and I ordered a Cold Brew with Half and Half. The latte was sweet and flavorful. The cold brew was ok, but I thought it was odd there is no option to add cream yourself and you have to pay .95 extra to add it. The spot is spacious and there are tons of pastry, sandwich and gelato options. Parking is mostly on the street so can be tricky. read more
Absolutely LOVE this place. Beautiful ambiance inside and outside. Adore the golden bees theme. Above all, appreciate there is both a gluten free and vegan item to devour: the chocolate ricco muffin was my scrumptious delight. Plenty of in house made pastries and choices of drink. Enjoyed our almondmilk hazelnut warm latte and oatmilk vanilla iced latte. Josh was very helpful in answering my questions and thankfully syrups are diary free and have real cane sugar used except the sugar free one. We will return here again and again and hope for more both vegan and gluten free treats options. read more

Stopped by Honey Cup after the long anticipated opening and it did not disappoint. I ordered from the very nice staff and got a matcha latte with vanilla which turned out to be very delicious! I also picked up the Caesar chicken sandwich and was honestly surprised by how good it was... I'd come back just for that alone. To top it off I tried the carrot cake with some kind of berry filling and it was really good not overly sweet. Enjoyed my lunch on the patio which had a nice vibe! Can't wait to come back! read more

such a fun cafe to do work/study at in Thousand Oaks! Seating is mildly limited inside, but pretty nice seating area outside; unfortunately I went with my sibling on a day when the sun decided to burn every living thing outside so we tried our best to find a corner spot inside to study in to avoid the heat. The lucky charms latte was rly good, it reminded me that cereal exists and is a pretty good snack. My sister got a freddo (I think) it was also good, just very strong so when we mixed the latte and freddo together it was the perfect mix of just slightly sweet and strong coffee. We both left the cafe being productive and extra caffeinated. I appreciate the workers who allowed us ample time to read the menu and decide what we wanted :) read more

honeycup absolutely showed out at this location. best coffee in town, hands down. you can genuinely taste the care that goes into every drink. I've been to the original newbury park (dv) location, and while it's great, this spot feels like an elevated version. everything just hits a little harder: the consistency, the quality, the overall experience. I'm obsessed. I also just found out they have ceremonial matcha, which is now at the very top of my list to try. I honestly don't know how this place hasn't run every other coffee shop in the area out of business and that's coming from someone who works at a coffee shop nearby. there's truly no comparison. the staff has been consistently friendly and welcoming, and service is always great. parking is side-street only as far as I can tell but I've never had trouble finding a spot read more
