This place. Wow. My Spanish Latte was amazing. My breakfast sliders were more than amazing. The staff is super kind and sweet. The vibe is lovely. The egg chair I am currently sitting in is the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in at any cafe in the world. A few things stood out during our visit: * Long wait time - It took over 35 minutes to get our order. * Service - The staff didn't seem very welcoming or helpful. * Drinks - The chai was extremely strong and not very enjoyable. * Food preparation - The crepe wasn't made the way you would expect; it was pressed like a sandwich instead of cooked in a pan. * Price - For two sandwiches, three drinks, and a fruit cup the total was $78, which felt very high for what we received. * Manager interaction - When we returned the items, the manager mostly explained that they were busy and that coffee shops take time. Beautiful interior Nd seemed like a peaceful place if you want to hang out and chill but we didn't find anything else special about this coffee house . I thought they were in the pricey side , the coffee tastes good , but they didn't even put any swirl or any type design on my cappuccino foam. My husband had a Vanilla latte and they said they put in 3 pumps but he couldn't taste any vanilla and the barista argued with him that she put the three pumps , Why did she have to argue? Meera's coffee is a charming boutique coffee shop decorated with beautiful plants everywhere. Service was great and the vibe was peaceful. The breakfast foods and coffees were top tier! We ordered the tomato burrata toast and the breakfast sliders for breakfast and both were delicious and visually appealing. For drinks, we ordered a cafe latte and a vanilla latte, again both were so yummy. I also ordered an iced latte to go with Meera's cloud cream and YUM. I've been waiting to try out Meera for a while! I remember when they were first opening but I like to wait a bit before trying out new spots. There aren't many places in simi that does matcha and specialty teas, so I'm glad we now have a spot! I ordered the purple matcha, which is the ube matcha. I added a cloud foam for an extra $1.25. I didn't get my matcha sweetened since I got the cloud foam and it was pretty good. It def needed the cloud foam or sweetener though. I had tried it without the cloud foam and it was okay. The ube flavor was pretty subtle. I was however a bit disappointed in the price since I almost paid $9 for the drink. They did have a ton of other drinks that sounded really good, so I'll have to come back to try other drinks. But the prices are a bit off putting so it's def a place to come as a treat. I ordered the Iced Vanilla Matcha & Iced Purple Matcha (Ube). The matcha drinks are so aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Tomato Burrata Symphony ($14.85): Avocado, burrata, tomato, pesto, salt, olive oil, chili flakes ; This toast was absolutely divine. Everything seriously complimented each other well. I could taste every topping with every bite. I usually don't love tomatoes but I loved everything else listed on it so I had to eat it all together and the cherry tomatoes didn't end up bothering me. I believe there was lemon squeezed into the avo mash and I could definitely taste that. That's something I add a whole lot of when I make it at home! I also loved the pesto drizzle and could've used a whole lot more of that too! It was pretty hefty overall and I had to cut it up into pieces to make sure it didn't fall apart if I tried to pick it all up at once. Mini Waffles ($9.99): 4 mini waffles comes with 1 drizzle which we chose nutella. Powdered sugar was also dusted overtop and they asked first if that was OK to put on. This was the perfect little amount of waffles to share with someone else if you're also eating another main food at the same time. So cute and yummy! Could easily make this at home if you have a mini waffle maker but sometimes it's so much better for some reason when you go out and order it! Everything Bagel w/ cream cheese ($4.50 + $1.99): This is what my bf ordered because it was exactly what he was craving! It had a good, fat smear of cream cheese on it. I ordered the Purple Matcha ($6.75) which is just ube matcha. The purple color was extremely light so I was skeptical about there even being a strong flavor of ube and I was right. I forgot to try the ube part before mixing it so I wasn't able to taste it separately. With it mixed all together, it just tasted more like a matcha with some kind of sweetener. Still good, but if you're going to say there's ube, then definitely should enhance that flavor. My bf ordered a Toasted Marshmallow Latte which is from the Fall special menu. He loved the toasted marshmallows on top. The drink overall just tasted like a regular latte. Not sure if there was toasted marshmallow syrup used in it but he wasn't able to detect that. I don't leave reviews often but I've tried this place for the 3rd time because I want to have a good cafe around but it has failed us all 3 times. Overpriced and weak. Menu says 6.25 for regular matcha because milk sub is $1. It somehow came out to be $8.25 before tax. We've ordered coffee, chai, matcha here and none are good.
