I didn't catch who made it, but I did meet Ashley, who was warm, attentive, and clearly works hard. The staff alone is a reason to come in. I also tried the pizza bagel. It was fresh and tasty, although I'll admit I'm a bit of an East Coast bagel snob, so my expectations are probably unusually high. The bagel itself was a little more bread-like than the classic chewy, dense bagel I'm used to, but I still enjoyed it and would absolutely order one again. I also love the drive-through, which is such a great convenience and not something you find everywhere. If you're looking for a quick stop with a delicious coffee and an easy bagel treat, Get Hooked is definitely worth checking out. Found this while trying a new coffee spot in my search and did not disappoint, I read that it's owned by locals and I think that's so cool, my bagel breakfast sandwhich was so good w bacon, eggs, cream cheese and I'm a sucker when breakfast sandwiches have arugula in them with tomato. It was so yummy and then I got me a large latte iced it was the perfect combination to get my day started. Staff is very sweet. Got my order taken quickly. Ordered in for the first time from here and it'll definitely not be the last time! Upon hearing about this spot, you'd think it's a sushi/seafood spot but actually serves up some great bagels. Got the Breakfast BLT on an onion bagel and it was delightful! Can never go wrong with eggs, bacon and cream cheese... and the arugula and tomato along with it is the perfect touch. I was looking for something quick and easy to just grab and go and saw that they carried gluten free bagels. They only have it in plain, so I got mine lightly toasted and added cream cheese for some flavor. It was really good, the dough on the bagel didn't taste heavy like most gluten ones do. The staff was friendly, even offered me water as I waited for my bagel. It did take a little longer than expected due to door dash orders, but because it was just a toasted bagel it didn't take too long before I got my order. Ok this is the cutest little coffee shop! What a hidden gem! I am gluten free and finding a gf bagel seems impossible. This place even makes delicious breakfast and lunch sandwiches with the bagels and many coffee options. The inside has tons of windows, comfy chairs, and plenty of seating. This beats Starbucks for the local vibe and would be a great spot to sit and do work. I told the cashier that it was my first time and she gave me plenty of time to decide and talk through some menu items without feeling rushed. She was super cute and friendly. Big smile on her face. They're only open till 2pm and I got here right before 1pm. Got my order for here so I could sit and enjoy without rushing off like I normality do. I would love love to give this place more stars as I really do support local small business but I just cannot get over the prices. Its very small and can be overlooked if your driving by too fast. The awesome thing is they have a drive thru. Staff was super friendly and helpful in helping me decide on an iced coffee. I decided to get the carmelito for $6.95 as a 16 Oz and a plain bagel egg and cheese. I was told they would have my total at the window and when I pulled up it was $20.81!! Almost $21 for ONE small coffee and ONE bagel egg and cheese. I couldn't believe it. The bagel costs $10-11+ thats absurd. Honestly the portions dont even make up for it. The bagel itself tastes great and had a good texture/bite to it.. not to soft not to hard and is really good but everything else inside was mediocre...I honestly just cannot justify the cost... what would a family of 4 pay for breakfast! Order two hooked bagel sandwiches through the drive-through with one iced coffee and one hot coffee upon opening at home saw how small the sandwiches are compared to what they used to be a year ago when we used to go there weekly and get one of their specialty bagels . They took several off menu which is fine but those were the best ones ! not only is the price so much higher 13-15.00 for a breakfast sandwich , but the quality of food has gone down. The egg was really overcooked and un edible . The sausage was overcooked dry and crispy, and the bagel was toasted, but very dry the whole sandwich was dry and not enjoyable. Although they close at 2 PM the last two times I was there they were mopping around 12 PM. On a typical meal, I usually spend about $20-25, which is way more than I would have spent on a place like Dunkin. Secondly, service is generally good, but there have been some misses. There was one specific time where I spent about 5-10 min in front of the drive thru menu, waiting for someone who take my order. I felt a bit dumb saying "Hello...hello...hello?" with no answer. Eventually I left, made a circle, and drove back into the drive thru line and someone answered right away. Huh? Other than that, great bagels, sandwiches, and solid drinks! So I found parking in the small lot this store is in and went inside. They have a drive thru as well but I didn't mind going inside. I didn't see any blueberry bagel on display so I thought they sold out already but when the lady took my order she told me they have everything here. So I got 2 blueberry bagel and asked for cream cheese. The cream cheese is almost the same price as the bagel so be aware. Also they add a lot of cream cheese in the bagel so I forgot to ask them to put it on the side. They took a while to make my bagel like almost 15 minutes because I think they focus more on the drive thru line and online order first. The inside of this place is pretty spacious and has a lot of seating. They also have outdoor seating as well. I took my bagel back to the office to eat it. The bagel was okay, I didn't really like the big amount of cream cheese they put on it and I could barely taste the blueberry. I had 2 cuz 1 wasn't enough it was so good. I also got the mocha chocolate frozen coffee blend thing with whip and it was very delicious as well. This is a very convenient little drive through with fresh made bagel sandwiches and refreshing drinks. I do agree with most of the reviewers who say it's super pricey, however, I find myself here about 2-3 times a month because I'm willing to pay for the freshness of the food and their iced matcha latte. It's fast food without the chemicals and junk, and that's worth it for me. I am not a fan of the excessive packaging, though, which may contribute to the pricing. Even when ordering in, everything is wrapped and packed and bagged. But, the vibe is nice with youth with all levels of abilities from the community getting job opportunities. The decor is cute, with some quirky signs and they have a few comfy chairs, and there were plenty of places to sit. The line wasn't long when I went, and the staff was polite and friendly. They found me and brought me my food and drink to my table. The cream cheese is really good, and the gluten free bagel was standard, but it was nice to be able to get coffee and a bagel! I ordered the iced Kapaa with a little less sweetener and it was amazing! I felt confortable enjoying my coffee and bagel for as long as I wanted and didn't feel pressure to leave. Super cute place. I like the idea of getting coffee from a local cafe versus Starbucks. The prices are high, and I'm more than willing to pay them, BUT every time I order a bagel there's a teeeny tiny amount of cream cheese on it. I've asked for extra, and nothing is different. If I'm paying so much for a bagel, I want all the cream cheese on there since I like to eat it open faced.
