We were looking for a brunch place that could accommodate 7 of us on Easter. When I messaged them on Yelp, they said of course! They had a table ready for us and a large selection of breakfast and lunch items to choose from. I of course ordered the Eggs Benedict with fruit since why mess with perfection. The whole family enjoyed their choices and we had great service.

We enjoyed our first visit to Scrambled Eggs Cafe. We weren't the biggest fan of their Cafe De Olla, but the food was good and reasonably priced. We ordered the California Omelette and Machaca Plate as well as the Tres Leches Pancakes to share. Our entrees were decent, but needed a bit of help from their homemade habanero sauce. It's spicy and packled with flavor! Definitely worth the burn. The Tres Leches Pancakes were by far the best thing we ordered. They were perfectly sweet and refreshing. The food and customer service aren't good enough to rate Scrambled Eggs Cafe 5 stars but, overall we enjoyed our meal and will be back for more!

I asked our server Marlene for suggestions. I said I definitely wanted Mexican food. She recommended the chilaquiles. Normally I won't order because everyone makes them differently. She explained they use the chile commonly used in Mexico City, I gave it a try. I got rice and beans instead of potatoes. Chilaquiles were delicious. Eggs over easy cooked perfectly. The creaminess of the egg with the flavor of the salsa was a perfect union. I didn't love the raw onions but it complimented the chips. The rice and beans were abuela approved. Beans were flavorful. Rice was perfectly cooked and very comforting homemade taste. Marlene was super sweet and attentive even though she was the only one working. The restaurant is very cute. I loved all the cow decor. There's a few booths, inside tables and outdoor seating.

Went here to have a nice Sunday Morning breakfast and it was good. The server girl was polite and such. The only critique I'd say is ditch the plastic drink cups with glassware Restrooms are clean

It is lovely to have a breakfast/brunch place open from 7 AM- 2 PM. There are not a lot of these eateries with this kind of timing, especially if you got up early. However, one of these places is a less known, hardly advertised restaurant, called Scrambled Eggs Cafe, in Simi Valley. Walking in around noon, there were only two other tables that were occupied. The cozy, uniquely decorated place was quiet and one gets the brain thought, unsolicited of course, did I come to the right place? I had done some homework and pretty much knew what I was going to order. Still, I was inquisitive and eager to peruse the extensive menu and, as expected, ended up still choosing my favorite class of breakfast selection. Needless to say, it had to be an Eggs Benedict concoction. They had more than one choice in this category and I decided to go for the California Eggs Benedict, with bacon, tomato, and instead of the avocado, I asked for the sautéed spinach. Just had the urge, to try a new twist to this combination. They fully obliged. For the side, I chose potatoes, requesting the best of both worlds. Half of the house potatoes and half of the hash browns. They politely consented. When the breakfast dish came to my table, it was simple, but had griddle aroma and one could observe and smell the freshness. I first went for the potatoes. Both of them blew me away. The house potatoes were fresh, nicely browned, not overdone, a light crisp on the outside, perfect texture, amazing taste. You could actually absorb the rich starch of the potatoes. Hashbrowns were the same, very nicely prepared. Needless to say, the poached eggs were perfect. It is not often that you come to a place where every Item on a multi component dish, is superb. On top of that, the service was high class. Thank you, Augustine. He kept checking on me constantly, to make sure I was OK. Wow. What a memorable and unforgettable experience, at Scrambled Eggs Cafe.

My wife called it in as a phone pick up, I chose the BBQ chicken wrap, and she picked the Tipsy toast. They said it would be ready in 15 and they sure kept that promise, great looking place indoors, clean and great staff. The wrap has a ton of flavor and drenched in their sauce which makes every bite so delicious. My wife liked her dish as well Good food and good service!

Took 25 minutes to get the food. When they brought out our food, the order was incorrect. My kids fruit cup was sticky and dirty-- had avocado remnants in it. My plate was dirty with strawberry juice but didnt order strawberries. The hollandaise was grainy and raw tasting like flour. We had to ask 3 times for silverware before receiving it. The restaurant had several servers and was not all the way full during our visit. The table was incredibly sticky.

Nolan was our server and he was on it. Wasn't obnoxious about giving good service but on top of it. Got our orders right, was accommodating. I love the ambience. Steakhouse Prices, Worse Than Cafeteria Food…read more Spider webs on the dining room lamps and food stains on our tablecloth were the first things I noticed during our first visit. Not exactly the first impression you'd expect from a steakhouse restaurant. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer. It arrived with plates but no silverware. We waited several minutes assuming our server would return with utensils, but she never did. We had to flag her down and ask for them. I also ordered a glass of wine that never arrived. The restaurant was slow, and by the time our entrées were served, I was still waiting. When we reminded our server, she just said "oh the wine yes!" She completely forgot! The food was even more disappointing than the service. The loaded mashed potatoes tasted extremely sour, no cheese, just shredded raw onions and sour cream with burnt top. How can you call this loaded baked potato? The mac and cheese was dry, bland, and lacked any real cheese flavor. Even the green beans had to a burnt pieces mixed in.None of the sides were at edible level. The steak was the only thing on my plate thats tolerable and even that left my stomach uncomfortable after my meal. The biggest disappointment was the food. For steakhouse prices, we were served loaded potatoes overwhelmed by raw onion, mac and cheese that tasted like cardboard, burnt green beans, and an average steak. The service and cleanliness issues only added to the frustration. We usually dine at Larsen's but decided to try support local businesses. After this experience, we'll be sticking with Larsen's. This will be our first and last visit.

My wife called MB Grille as we were already heading in that direction and talked to Alice and she allowed us to put our name on the list with the intent of us arriving in 10 minutes. We did arrive on time and the place was packed, we did get seated shortly after we arrived and Riley was our server. You'll hear many patrons describe this restaurant as a hidden gem. Believe them. From our observation, reservations are highly desirable and may prove necessary for weekend nights. The only seatings available when we called a day earlier were at 4:30 or after 7:00 PM. We took the earlier, and frankly are glad we did. We arrived at their unassuming storefront location as the first patrons of the day, were warmly greeted and immediately seated. From this moment forward, my wife and I agreed: If anyone hopes to run a highly successful small restaurant, Bella's Bistro is the template. Inside, the ambiance was tasteful with gentle background music at the absolutely perfect tempo and volume to allow for conversation. We found the furnishings, tableware and restroom immaculate. Fresh flowers and a candle adorned each table, and the decorations for Valentine's Day were just the right tone, conveying appeal without being garish. Kudos to the staff for getting it right on all of the above. Though I generally set expectations low for the wine list or bartending at a small establishment, Bella's features a diverse wine list and specialty cocktails that pair very well with their menu. Of particular note was the superb crafting of cocktails during our visit - again, exceeding our expectations. It was during cocktail service that we noticed the full-service bar tucked in the rear corner of the restaurant, offering barstool seating and counter service for those who may be so inclined. We shared a nicely prepared caesar salad, while enjoying the basket of varied breads. While refrigerated butter pats were provided in the basket, it would have been a tad easier and more appealing if a small container of whipped butter had been offered instead. Our entrees included their homemade ravioli as well as chicken parmigiana, the latter included a large perfectly crafted portion of chicken accompanied by perfectly prepared spaghetti. To say this restaurant knows how to make and served great pasta is in understatement, with the ravioli a choice to be savored. A simple cheesecake dessert topped off the evening. Though the restaurant was full as our meal ended, we never felt rushed or ignored. Service was at all times attentive but never overbearing. There was genuine interest in our enjoyment and satisfaction. We encourage you to try Bella's Bistro!

Amazing dedication to a theme that actually works, and makes you feel relaxed and at home, at least for me (clutter confession in that statement . . . ). There are dining rooms and a bar area for further relaxation! The welcome was quick and warm, and the service was great. The menu itself is just as odd, almost like a child drew it with crayons, so I took a while to make sure I didn't miss anything, even though I pre-planned my attack on Yelp and their website. I was still overwhelmed in person! Kailey was a great server, friendly and efficient. I ordered the grilled three cheese sandwich (with Jack, pepper jack, and cheddar on sourdough, grilled) served with fries or chips - I chose the house-made chips, and added a side salad. I even took a large box of them back to the hotel for a later snack; they were too good to just leave abandoned. The sandwich was great, just the comfort food I needed that afternoon. There are other items I would try on the menu, so I hope to find myself in Simi Valley again. A great place with great food and service.
