Great atmosphere! Lots of healthy choices. The workers were super cordial and nice! This review is mainly for what I experienced in terms of my coffee. The coffee was a bit lackluster, could not really taste the espresso and there was a way too much ice. At $5 that is equivalent to a cup of blue bottle which is equally expensive but worth every dime. You should be able to taste the crema of the espresso. Not sure if it was the coffee beans itself or maybe the machine but I was definitely not impressed by the quality. I hope to come back to try other items in the menu as I saw many good reviews on their organic juices and products but I'm an avid coffee drinker so I had to try that first. read more

Super rude!!!!!!!! I regret stepping in the door. I wish I would believed the previous reviews of how rude their staff is it's unbelievable and the coffee taste like dirt! What I witnessed here was pure racism and poor cook in the back who was talked to in English but a Spanish accent and then the worker saying she can't read English smh! I've been here 2x per week since moving to TO ~1 month ago. The vanilla mint Jing is AMAZING. I love sweet drinks but hate the crash and this gives me the sweetness without feeling gross after. All ingredients are super clean and they have clean treats for toddlers too like smoothies and "soda" which has healthy ingredients in it. I called ahead to ask about their holiday hours and Haley was so sweet and informative. When we got there, she was equally wonderful and took our order. I had an Americano, which was very good. My husband had one of the black teas and liked it. He also had an egg toast sandwich, not sure what it was called. Also, my vanilla latte had stevia- their menu description mentions stevia in some other drinks, but the vanilla latte says "homemade simple syrup and vanilla bean" doesn't mention its SF like other drinks. Cute place, spacious. Got the Breakfast burrito with avocado, Hummus Toast (extra spicy), Avocado toast with egg (spicy), Hawaiian bowl & a Rose latte. All of the food was good overall. The Hawaiian bowl was great, cold, crunchy and had a nice Pina colada flavor. The toasts were both delicious! The bread was thick and all the ingredients were fresh. If your use to eating spicy, they're not spicy at all. The burrito was good but they had some random small crunchy pieces that felt like they left eggshells in there, maybe it's just me? The rose latte was just perfect, wow! It had a nice rose taste that wasn't super mellow or overwhelming. The staff was pleasant, and they're located in a plaza with parking. A work associate brought coffee for the office today from this company. I was super excited to learn about a local coffee house that sells organic mold-free coffee!! I got a latte and it is so good! They make their own oat milk from scratch to avoid the junk oils found in nearly everything processed these days! I've been here many times in the past and every drink I had was excellent. New young gentleman made my lavender chai today and I am disappointed. It's lukewarm at best and the flavor just isn't right. There's a sign in the window that says they're hiring baristas, I hope they train them better than they trained the young man who just made mine. This seems to be a community favorite, but honestly it's not my favorite. I have got really bad stomach aches twice coming here. Idk if it's their coffee, or if they make a mistake with the milk, and I even double checked with barista bc I instantly felt unwell and she was semi rude I suggested she may have got it wrong. They make their own nut milks if you want that for your lattes. Their Banana Coins are good too. The light roast coffee bean is my morning lifeline. I brew it in a Moka pot and it never upsets my stomach or causes reflux. I am super sensitive and thought I was going to have to give up my my ritual, and thanks to their methods and product I do not have to. I'm new to the city and live around the corner from Longevity. I drink a daily Macchiato and simply hope for civility first thing in the morning. I was told "there is no craft coffee in Ventura." Those baristas are right. I've been to Longevity 30+ times, in addition to testing out a dozen other coffee shops in the area for a Macchiato when it's on their menu and pictured on their homepage--as it is for Longevity. Except for Cameron, four baristas served it beyond the posted 3 oz. with too much water (about 4-6 oz, which is a Cortado or Latte). They said "we've never heard of ristretto; we just push the button." So I started giving instructions for their advertised drink: one ristretto double shot of espresso with 3 oz of steamed milk. I even started bringing in my own 4 oz cup to help. After two months, today was the worst, but revealed the root of the problem ("a fish stinks from its head"). I assume it was the owner...and always a lifesize Buddha seated in the corner, enlightening the scene. The woman had no idea what a ristretto was; and then overcharged me $1. Then, in front of her gradeschool daughter, two other customers, two employees, and the Buddha, said, "I appreciate customers who treat us with respect and kindness. Not like SOME." And she repeated this for effect. This was a woman with a permanent frown; who never said "good morning" or "welcome" or "please" or "thank you". She did say, "just a minute"; "okay, what"; and "I have no idea what you're talking about but as long as SHE [the barista] knows." No apology for the $1 (33%) over-charge of a $3 drink. No explanation for her ignorance in her "specialization." Just this bizarre, passive-aggressive, juvenile outburst. And in front of her very own daughter...and Buddha.... (I guess they specialize in adding powdered herbs to drinks, so if you're into that and don't mind a total grouch behind the bar, go for it.) And I stopped expecting "foam art" from day one. I just wanted a Macchiato from their menu and would drink it BLIND, even settling for the uncomplex, over-roasted taste. (I had to settle here. Back home, I had four craft coffee shops to choose from within one mile.) I always leave their first dollar of the day, and break my 20s especially for cash tips. After this outrageous outburst and lack of customer service, I announced to the two employees that I have never retracted a tip, but I am going to after the owner's un-Buddhist, ignorant toxicity and her 33% overcharge. * * * 9/16 update: Wow. An extension of the customer dis-service I experienced is the *libel* below. I carry dollars expressly for tips. I have never retracted a tip that I left--until that owner's outburst on 9/15, announcing in disappointment to two employees why I was taking it back after this woman's pathetic attack on a customer who simply ordered a menu item that neither the owner nor the barista knew how to make, and overcharging me 33%. Who's the crook? I guess I am entitled: to not be robbed, and to expect a drink from a menu. Longevity failed on every count. But, again, they can sprinkle some magic herbs in your soda, coffee, or smoothie...and wave their wand...mmmm. read more

We have been coming here for years. This was our favourite coffee shop but not today unfortunately. There were some new employees who did not know how to make the coffee and the smoothies. Asked for a dry cappuccino got a coffee blended with oat milk that I did not ask for. Asked them to remake it they could not. Had to leave because we were in a hurry. Got pina colada not the same again was missing some ingredients. When I asked they said it's correct. Oh well . Too bad it's becoming like this nowadays. This is tucked in a strip-mall / small shopping center with parking that can get sketchy at times. Quiet, with a new-agey vibe to it and a few Eastern religion icons placed about. I had seen online pics of what looked to be great, creative coffee drinks, yet when I entered I saw signs advertising their smoothies, protein drinks, and some food. Coffee seems to take a back seat. The back page of their menu is where coffee is listed. Just the standard fare: espresso, latte, etc. I asked the gentleman behind the counter to suggest something creamy in the way of a latte and the best I got was that I could have a latte made with 1/2 & 1/2. They do offer almond milk, which he said they make fresh there. I opted for the 1/2 & 1/2 version. He made it quickly - there was no one else waiting - yet there was none of the artwork on top that so many other independent coffee houses are known for. Or even what others visiting there have shown online. Perhaps he was new. It still tasted good. I kept hearing that Longevity Coffee was TO's next good coffee joint, so I was looking forward to stopping in. I stopped by earlier this morning and I was underwhelmed. Despite sharing that it was my first time coming in with the barista taking my order, I was not greeted with any sort of enthusiasm. I wasn't given any welcome, and I wasn't asked what my coffee preferences are or greeted with any hospitable flare. It wasn't busy and the few patrons inside already had their stuff. I ordered the lavender latte with almond milk but was told it comes with the house nut milk blend, so I went with that and I could not taste any lavender. The lavender latte just tasted like warmed up nut milk with a hint of residual coffee. No flavor in the latte stood out; it was just bland. I also got the LG probiotic yogurt for my little one and requested a side of blueberries and they weren't generous with the blueberries; I was given about 5 and that's it. My avocado toast was on a bagel because they didn't have toast, and it was okay. It's hard to mess up anything avocado but it also lacked flavor.
