I usually try to avoid non drive thru Starbucks' because it becomes chaos inside. But I figured since I was desperate for some caffeine and I noticed NO line, I'd go in a grab a matcha. I should have trusted my gut. Although friendly, the staff I felt were unorganized. I waited much longer than needed for one drink. This may have been because they made the family of 5 behind me got their drinks first. I am normally a patient person, but I also expect great service from a company who values this the most above quality. I gave them three because they were kind and the drink was of course delicious. I will just continue to avoid non drive thrus or even attempt a mobile order if they offer it. read more

Yikes. I don't think I've ever run into a barista who was more uninterested and inconsiderate than at this Starbucks location. It's very uncharacteristic of this chain to have as bad of an experience with the people as I had this morning. So short. So snappy. So "don't bother me/do I have to take your order? I don't have time for this." They looked busy with Mobile orders, and I get how that can be hard and unpredictable, but my gosh. No smile. No politeness whatsoever. She walked away in the middle of my question about what to order. The other baristas made eye contact with me as I waited for 1.5 mins to order, but said nothing. Eek. Not to mention it's dirty and small and cold. Not a good ambiance at all, and not a location I would ever recommend to anyone. read more

It's your normal Starbucks quality but the store set up is terrible. It gets crowded and people aren't sure where to stand to get their orders so you end up waiting in a mass of people for ever. Needs to be about twice the size or at least have some signage. read more

Good: terribly friendly barrista with a perfect smile. Bad: kinda slow. The three folks behind the counter seem to be working in isolation rather than harmony. Ugly: the store is badly in need of cleaning. Floors. Tables. Counters. All first world issues, to be sure. read more

Nice location on the return to Sonora from Nevada City, just of of Hwy 80, large crowd, when I entered, settled down in a few minutes. Lots of local families, enjoying a Saturday morning. read more

The staff are nice and all but really take their time with your order- I was the only person in line on a tuesday morning and it still took a good 15 min for my latte. Come on.... Today my local Starbucks blew me away. I had ordered 2 coffee travelers in advance to be ready this morning at 7:15. However, when I went in it was not even started. I actually thought, no big deal, I will just order a couple of drinks for me and the kids while I waited. I knew they are super fast here so I wasn't worried. I went ahead and added the drinks to my order and as I tried to pay, they informed me that my entire order would be free due to their error. I honestly only waited about 10 minutes for everything to be ready. One of the barristas even carried the travelers out to my car for me. Their customer service certainly exceeded my expectations today. The Loomis Starbucks is the best!! read more

I went in thirsty for an afternoon coffee on a warm May Saturday. After traveling 547 miles from home I asked for my favorite Bertellini ... Americano with a little mint and mocha iced... Great staff - always friendly. This is a regular stop for our family on the way from Marin to Tahoe.

Restroom here was pretty dirty. Because they share a parking lot with a grocery store, there is plenty of parking.

I feel really awful writing this type of a review however my experience left such a bad taste in my mouth (literally and figuratively) that I really feel like I have to do so. I will start off by saying that this is my first time at this Starbucks. I walked in to meet a friend and after putting down my things I headed to the register to get my coffee and waited about 2 minutes before the young lady looked up from cleaning the counter and says in a rude tone "do you need something else???". I replied " I just need to make an order, I haven't gotten anything yet". She then says "oh" and stares at me blankly. (In my head I'm already thinking man she must have had a really bad day)...anyways, I ordered my drink and waited at the table with my friend. The whole place is empty besides us and she eventually sets my drink on the counter. Doesn't say anything or call drink order or my name (she actually didn't ever ask my name) but whatever..so I taste my drink and it tastes watered down. I have no idea how that could be when I ordered 4 shots of espresso. Normally I would just let it go but I paid $7.50 for this drink and after her rude customer service I felt like the least I was owed was a mediocre cup of coffee for the money I spent. After a second time of her making my drink, no apology and some more glares my drink still tasted awful. I decided just to cut my losses and drink my gross cup of coffee. In hinds site I wish I would have asked for a manager or for my money back. This young lady needs to learn basic life skills..how to be polite and about customer service. I have worked in customer service my whole life and I have to say this was pretty bad :/ read more

I am so done with Starbucks... I can't remember the last time I went to a Starbucks and they had the menu items... Either they don't have the eggs... or they don't have the almonds... or they don't have decaf coffee... This is worse than McDonald's... Whenever I go to McDonald's they have all of the items on the menu... I have never once gone to McDonald's and not been able to purchase a menu item... The last five times I have gone to Starbucks... there have been one and usually two items that I came for that are not in stock... This is just too annoying... particularly since I usually discover the items are missing after I have waited for the drive-through... 10 minutes to find out that the vegetarian or gluten-free options are not available... Now what...? Eat something I don't want... Or drive to another place... That would be fine if it happened once... But every time? No thank you I'm done!! read more

This is our "a little town feels like a big family" hang out. I wish it was in a single location instead of a complex but there is plenty of seating outside to enjoy. Want "free coffee"? Come to this Starbucks! Been here 3 times this week and I am 3 for 3 getting "free coffee". Why you ask? Because they can't get their acts together and have coffee brewed and ready for the day, therefore they make you wait and then offer coffee for free. read more

I am a regular at this Starbucks. I usually show up with the anticipation I will be in and out in 5-10 minutes and treated well in the process. This particular Starbucks kept me coming back due to the small town intimate feel. Over the past several months I have noticed a slow down in prep time by about double. A few days ago I stood waiting for my beverage while the barista and side kick bantered about the wonders of the universe. I exchanged a glance with a fellow onlooker as she rolled her eyes. Today I stopped in for my usual and waited 25 minutes to receive my beverage. In the time I observed a almost complete failure in the process. I watched and listened as one of the employees, frustrated, yelled over and over WHO HAS THE SAUSAGE SANDWICH! Then returning to the register with a fake smile and condescending tone to the next guest in line. It is sad that this small town Starbucks now feels like a highway stop store. I hope the trend does not continue. Three stars because I have faith it will get better. I hope I am right. read more
