I usually don't come to Roseville, but today I took the bus so that I could spend some time with my dog. Daisy Mae is a service animal and they welcome service animals at this location. It's very Disability accessible. They were so accommodating here and unbelievably kind. Kevin helped me with my transaction. Erik was in training and he was really sweet. Casey even made my drink and Jessica and Shelsea were always having a smile when I walked in. I really like the layout of the pets. It's really nice in comparison to ones that I've been in sacramento county They have nice outlets and it looks really clean here as if they clean and deep, clean almost every other day. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and I can't wait to come back

Peets at the fountains always has been a mixed bag for me. I've been here off-and on over the last few years. Came back 12/26/23 from living out of state and working in the north bay. My drink was excessively watered down. Immediately brought it to their attention. They tried remaking it and adding straight cold brew concentrate but still was watery! I believe their whole batch was off. At that very moment a big rush of folks came in. Had to wait awhile for a refund, staring at the NO WEAK COFFEE cups on display for sale, but nery was kind honestly apologized & Refunded my card. It wasnt about the refund maybe something else instead would had worked, anyway i went to work without a coffee. That was the whole point of coming in. Maybe just an off-day. Nery was a highlight. But the vibe was off. BUSY location being inside the fountains its like an outdoor shopping outlet mall. I think the last time i was here , years ago, i had a job interview for some other company. The mgr pushed to meet here. Never got the job. Idk why I remembered that.

I've only had Peets a handful of times and I've never been impressed but today changed my outlook! I got an iced black tie and it was great, perfect amount of sweet but I could still taste my coffee. This is definitely my favorite location now!

Espresso reward that Allison Wrong redeemed for $120 which I will never use.

I popped in for an iced hazelnut latte, and it hit the spot perfectly. The beverage was bursting with excellent flavor.

I also someone get a big bag of beans to take home so it is nice for locals to get whatever bean roast they prefer. The inside does not provide much seating so I would not use this place for studying or doing work. It is more of a grab and go place. I got the vanilla blueberry latte. It tasted exactly like a blueberry waffle. It was a good mild flavor but did not have enough caffeine for me. Because it is in a random spot of Roseville I'm not sure if this is a place I would go out of my way for but if you are near the shop you can get your weekly beans here!

They didn't load it up with ice like most do. Overall, would go back but probably wouldn't crave it too often. It's more creamier than it is fruity which I don't always lean towards. Also, not as strong caffeine wise. The service itself was fine. I do agree with the other reviews about the staffs attitude. The girl who took my order was kind and made our pup cup from scratch but as a whole, it feels like they took the girls who worked at Brandy Melville and placed them here instead.

Except for the last two weeks since I was on a mission to save $$$. Gu is not cheap, it's pricey but I find it worth the money because it's that good! Anyways, there must have been a change of staff since I haven't seen my usual people for my last two orders. The avocado coffee was sweeter than their usual, I like my coffee strong. Vietnamese coffee-strong. I feel like they added too much condensed milk on their coffee, and I don't want to have that same experience for the 3rd time. I might take a break again from Gu and hopefully the usual baristas will be back soon. Ambience inside is always nice, although the newer baristas should be a little more welcoming as well.

There wasn't anyone inside when I visited, but there's just a few spots to sit on along the walls. As others mentioned, the drinks contain a large amount of ice, but I thought it was a good drink. I'm not sure what the purpose was of the paper they put over the top of the cup, but I took it off after leaving the shop.

I'll be honest, the Ethiopian I started with wasn't really showing how I expected. It felt a little muted and flat to me. But here's where it flipped, he actually checked back in, asked what I thought, and instead of brushing it off, he was like "yeah... you're right." That alone tells you a lot. He pivoted and brewed up a Mexican that absolutely slapped. Clean, expressive, way more dialed. From there we just geeked out for a bit talking single origins, roasting approaches, equipment, all of it. That level of awareness and willingness to adjust in real time is rare, and it's what makes a place worth coming back to. I'm really interested to see how he continues to shape the program here. This feels like a shop that's still evolving in a good way.

I was honestly so excited to go to this place. This coffee bar is actually quite hidden, as they are located right behind the Village General Store on Vernon. There's quite a bit of parking when the storefront is closed, so you wouldn't even expect a wait at all. They have such a spacious patio as well (if you want to sit down and have a good time chatting it up with your other friends), and such big space to wait if you don't want the patio. I got one of their oatmeal cookies as well as their Matcha lattes. What I didn't know was that their oatmeal cookies were gluten free, and they were sourced and made locally by artisans here in Roseville. They also used quite premium-grade matcha that made it taste really good with the whole milk they mixed in eventually. The ambiance and the hospitality was one of the best out there, and I can't wait to be back the next time I'm in Sacramento!

As I was walking the halls, I realized I needed a little pick-me-up. I'm new to the coffee world, still in my cappuccino-with-vanilla era on this early caffeine journey, so I decided to see what this place was about. Glad I did. The moment you walk in, it's clean, bright, and welcoming. Plenty of spots to sit, relax, or even crack open your laptop and get some things done without feeling rushed. The layout gives off that perfect balance: chill enough to unwind, structured enough to be productive. Service was excellent and fast -- the kind where they actually pay attention, move with purpose, and make you feel like you matter. I retired to the bar and tried to speak to the barista and she looked at me and looked away completely ignoring me as I tried to talk to her and scoffed a bit. I felt a bit awkward standing there .... When the person at the register with whom we had ordered saw this and came over. I explained to them that the drink didn't taste right ... that we had ordered a peanut butter mocha. He looked a bit confused and then said that he thought we had gotten a peanut butter latte... this was a bit confusing as the seasonal drink on the menu that we pointed at was the peanut butter mocha. However i truly appreciated them remaking the drinks and finding a quick solution.
