I usually don't come to Roseville, but today I took the bus so that I could spend some time with my dog. Daisy Mae is a service animal and they welcome service animals at this location. It's very Disability accessible. They were so accommodating here and unbelievably kind. Kevin helped me with my transaction. Erik was in training and he was really sweet. Casey even made my drink and Jessica and Shelsea were always having a smile when I walked in. I really like the layout of the pets. It's really nice in comparison to ones that I've been in sacramento county They have nice outlets and it looks really clean here as if they clean and deep, clean almost every other day. This is the second time I've been to Pete's where Allison was making coffee and she is super mean. Not only is she yelling about how busy it is and treating the customers and employees not nice. The first time I thought OK, I'll give her some slack but then it happened even worse this time. And come to find out she's the manager. Even worse.. Peets at the fountains always has been a mixed bag for me. I've been here off-and on over the last few years. Came back 12/26/23 from living out of state and working in the north bay. My drink was excessively watered down. Immediately brought it to their attention. They tried remaking it and adding straight cold brew concentrate but still was watery! I believe their whole batch was off. At that very moment a big rush of folks came in. Had to wait awhile for a refund, staring at the NO WEAK COFFEE cups on display for sale, but nery was kind honestly apologized & Refunded my card. It wasnt about the refund maybe something else instead would had worked, anyway i went to work without a coffee. That was the whole point of coming in. Maybe just an off-day. Nery was a highlight. But the vibe was off. BUSY location being inside the fountains its like an outdoor shopping outlet mall. I think the last time i was here , years ago, i had a job interview for some other company. The mgr pushed to meet here. Never got the job. Idk why I remembered that. read more

Love Peet's coffee, this is my favorite one to go to out of the three near my home. I want to acknowledge Casey, I can't say enough about how warm and friendly he is. He remembers his customers, always makes me drink taste the best, and even thinks of all the small things like offering me salt and pepper for my boiled eggs or a bag when I order a lot. Imho....medium roast whole beans are the only way to go for a home brew.....but you must have a coffee maker that reaches the proper brewing temperature I use a Bonativa Brewer. As a loyal peets customer, this is the worst location to go to. I am honestly in disbelief with my experience here. I came in and ordered a medium iced matcha latte with 4 scoops of matcha. This day I wanted to use my points to pay for my drink since I had been saving them up. As I'm pulling up my peets app I notice that various sauces are being added to the register and I just assumed she was ringing up a different drink. When she goes to scan my app my total says $8.65 when normally it's $5.65. I didn't think too much of it because I was paying with my rewards. I asked the manager Allison Wright which reward to redeem for the matcha and she went on my phone and redeemed an espresso drink. She scans it and obviously it doesn't work. She goes on my phone again to redeem the correct reward for a tea latte and scans that one and it goes through. Each free drink is 120 points which is 1 point per dollar spent. She costed me an extra $120 for redeeming the wrong reward so I asked her about it because I never drink espresso drinks. She said once the reward expires the points will go back to my account. Based off of experience and basic knowledge I knew that she was incorrect. I told her I redeemed the wrong one before and I never got the points back. At other Peet's locations if the wrong reward is redeemed they would still honor the free drink. She kept gaslighting me so I just said okay and walked away. When they called my name for my drink I noticed my drink was brown when it's normally a bright green. I asked is this the matcha latte with 4 scoops of matcha? He said yes, the matcha latte with 4 scoops of matcha, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, strawberry sauce, simple syrup, etc. Allison Wright said to the employee, I told you to put just the 4 scoops of matcha. Like why add those things to my drink anyways? I was so confused and weirded out by the situation. He remade my drink and I asked another employee about the points and I'm pretty sure they knew I wouldn't get them back. As I was asking them she rudely smacked the receipt on the counter saying we only redeemed the tea latte reward yet still disregarding the fact that she redeemed the espresso reward. She kept telling me it would go back to my account. The nice employee helping me gave me the customer service number just incase my points didn't go back and said she couldn't do much because Allison Wrong was the manager. I called customer service to ask if those points would go back and they said no. Once the reward is redeemed and expired it's gone. I hope this location hires a new manager who knows their information and cares about customer service. I also feel bad for their employees for their manager making them make unnecessary drinks for no reason. read more

I've been coming to this location placing mobile orders before work due to my go-to Starbucks locations being unpredictably closed or not accepting mobile orders, unfortunately due to covid. At times this location isn't able to accept mobile orders or it will warn you that it will take longer. I think it's reasonable since the Stabucks app doesn't do that they just indicate they're not accepting mobile or are closed. It's a popular location being in the beloved overrated Fountains shopping center. Lol If you place your mobile around 8am and before you get ready to drive there it'll be on time when you get there. After that time it can get really busy. My usuals are the horchata cold brew with oat milk and sugar-free vanilla syrup. Or the iced or hot caramel macchiatto with an extra espresso shot, nonfat milk, and sugar-free vanilla. Their food and baked goods are much better than Stabucks I'll have to admit. I've tried the morning bun which is like a churro croissant, so good but messy. Their almond croissant is light and delicious. I like the egg white, tomato, and feta frittata....so good. Their service is always friendly. The only thing I don't appreciate so much about Peets is what they charge for an additional espresso shot, $1, which is more than Stabucks charges. Also, the fact that they charge to use sugar-free vanilla in your drink, Stabucks doesn't charge for that. read more

As I am an avid coffee drinker, I always find "Peet's Coffee" to be the more mature and sophisticated coffee roaster than Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. Their beans have a deeper, rich flavor while I prefer the darker roasts as opposed to the sweeter, lighter roasts. And when I found out this location was opening at the Westfield Galleria at Roseville shopping mall, I couldn't wait until they finally unwrapped their "coming soon" walls (which dated back to November 2018). I feel honored and privileged to write the very first review of this Peet's Coffee. Before, I was having to go over to the Fountains at Roseville for my Peet's fix. This location, however is on the 2nd floor that is adjacent to the food court and its space takes over where Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant once stood. I am a little torn since I loved Gordon Biersch's beer and pub-styled food but at least replacing it with Peet's was a decent trade-off. This Peet's Coffee opened up in early-February 2019. The location itself offers a full ordering station complete with a small pastry case as well as a condiment area to the right. They do offer a few seating areas to the left but not nearly as many as I would hope. It would be nice to offer comfortable chairs as the open floor space is big enough to accommodate much more seating. I ended up ordering a their hot Vanilla Latte which was priced at around $4.50 for a 16 oz. cup. Even though they do have a sitting area, they do not offer "for-here" porcelain mugs like you would find at their brick-and-mortar locations. Overall, this is an excellent addition to the upscale Galleria mall as this will be a place to get my coffee fix before and after shopping. My rating, a solid four stars. read more

I have been coming to this Location since it opened. I had to use restroom prior to ordering coffee. I was ushered in and given code by to Baristas with whom were very welcoming and friendly. I had my little 6lb hypoallergenic dog with me. Upon exiting the restroom, I was immediately stopped by what seemed to be the manager, and she immediately turned around and said hi. Your dogs not welcome in here. Well wow, I couldn't believe the rudeness of this person and I can tolerate a bit she insisted on once I placed my order bringing my coffee out to me outside. I nervously and in an upset way paid for the coffee and this person needs some customer service training on how to approach customers if there is something against their policy and not just blurt things out like that it really made me feel unwelcome. So got my coffee ready outside left and just maybe gonna chalk it up for somebody having a bad day, however wow just stupid and even the other coffee place the bigger one, never gives me a hard time and I don't put the pet down on any counters and everything else so wow just well anyways. read more

We just love the Peets on Sunrise and Cirby Way. So besides our caffeine for the day, we get excellent service with a smile and positive energy. This Peets does have its busy times but we've never had to wait excessively. Comfortable seating inside and outside in a little patio area. Good to excellent WiFi. Met a friend for coffee, she chose the venue as I had not really patronized the Peet's Coffee brand. Located at the Fountains, the coffee shop was near capacity at 10AM on a Saturday morning, but we managed to secure a table. There was a mix of Christmas shoppers, families with children, friends catching up with one another and people on computers, occupying the coffee shop. I ordered hot tea (not a coffee drinker but I love good tea!), and my friend and I caught up with one a good while. This is clearly a busy location, as the crowd never died down, but many customers were grab and go. Really nice staff, answered questions with a smile and convenient "corner" location. read more

So I come here every Sunday I on my way to church and get my usual drink, which is a large white mocha with a total of four pumps of white chocolate stirred with whip and today for some reason they were trying to charge me extra for it so I went out I'll talk to the manager because they've never charged me extra and the manager fixed it. She's like oh you know they're supposed to charge extra for it, but you know not when you have the same drink and so I just said OK and I had I guess there's some special going on at Pete's right now and so when I was ready to pay I got my debit card out and she asked is there money on it and I looked at her and I'm like it has money on it. I'm like I wouldn't be paying with it if I didn't have money on it just wanted to make sure didn't know if you're gonna pay with the gift card and I was like are you kidding me? You really ask people is there money on this that is so rude and this was a manager that did this today really really unprofessional to ask somebody is there money on this card Pretty sure she wouldn't like it if she went to the mall and went to go buy something and they ask her if there's money on this really not happy with the services I received today really upsetting that they would even ask if I had money on it. It's not like I go in there for free drinks. I am always happy to pay for my drink And to do this was just very uncomfortable really not happy about this. Hello ~ Today I visit Peet's to get my free birthday coffee . When I arrived , I told her I had a free coffee , then the not so friendly barista told me to go to my app to find the reward . So I followed instructions and it was not there . My app was not working properly. I then ordered and paid for my coffee . Afterwords before leaving Peet's I asked for a manager and was told essentially the same thing ! everything is in the app ~ but mine wasn't working . What ever happened to making the situation right and thinking outside the box and asking for a driver license to verify dob ?? I curse the day I tried the Cold Brew Black Tie!!! It's sooo good, I don't even want to know how bad it is for me. I have been a customer of Peet's since I was a kid going to the original in Berkeley. Peet's is my go-to for coffee, but this location is really bad. We ordered two drink. The first a cold brew, and the other being a mocha frappe. Their cold brew is the drink I always purchase at Peet's, but when I took a drink from this location, it tasted really old, as if it had been sitting far too long. The mocha frappe tasted like blended ice. There was no taste of chocolate or coffee at all. The drink was close to the color of the whipped cream. We both had to throw our drinks out. We will not be returning to this location at all. When I think of Peet's, I think quality, and this location has it all wrong. read more

Hot day but I need my mocha fix. I drink some 7-8 cups of coffee a day. If I don't have even one cup, I get headaches. A big hot mocha fan. Peet's make one fo the best hot mocha. Starbucks too but depends on who's making it. Some days just a tad not enough coffee or a tad much of something. The 3 stars is for the rest of the staff, but the one rounder, short, middle aged lady, reaaaaalllly should work somewhere where she doesn't interact with people. I ordered a horchata cold brew oat latte. It tasted like regular milk which I dont drink. So I asked if it was with oatmilk and her response was "it's in the name" and repeated the name of the drink in a condescending tone. I just blinked at her, and for her sake, walked out. Love this location; it is my favorite Pete's coffee shop by a mile! It is nicely located in the Fountains . The Fountains is a beyond lovely shopping center with a yogurt shop, restaurants a Whole Foods and fancy little boutiques. They also have a large fountain that plays music (hence the name which is a main attraction for visitors). This particular location has an amazing food counter section with sandwiches, coffee cakes, muffins, egg sandwiches and so much more. I highly recommend the egg and cheese sandwich on multigrain bread with pumpkin seeds yum! Some of my favorite drinks include the green tea matcha (I would highly suggest getting the green tea matcha with almond milk and dairy free coconut cream amazing) and the pineapple tropical green tea cooler (which is topped with a slice of blood orange) ah so delicious! Prices are a little steep but so are many other coffee shops aren't they? They also have a nice outdoor seating area with tables and tall umbrellas which is nice since the city of Roseville is pretty much hot year round. Last week before I even had a chance to order it's like oh we don't let dogs in here. You can order and I will bring it to you outside. She was just so nasty about it... In fact I think I've had her before and she has no personality. Quiche I had was good and coffee ok. The bathroom in this Pete's Coffee is appalling. Today when I visited there was pee on the toilet and floor and it smelled like a urinal. They closed the women's bathroom and made it for employees only and now have just one bathroom for everyone. They have no seat covers, no paper towels, it's filthy and smells. If this is an acceptable standard for their bathroom then I really wonder about the cleanliness of their food service area! A visit from the health department could be a real wake up call for them!
