I usually don't come to Roseville, but today I took the bus so that I could spend some time with my dog. Daisy Mae is a service animal and they welcome service animals at this location. It's very Disability accessible. They were so accommodating here and unbelievably kind. Kevin helped me with my transaction. Erik was in training and he was really sweet. Casey even made my drink and Jessica and Shelsea were always having a smile when I walked in. I really like the layout of the pets. It's really nice in comparison to ones that I've been in sacramento county They have nice outlets and it looks really clean here as if they clean and deep, clean almost every other day. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and I can't wait to come back

Peets at the fountains always has been a mixed bag for me. I've been here off-and on over the last few years. Came back 12/26/23 from living out of state and working in the north bay. My drink was excessively watered down. Immediately brought it to their attention. They tried remaking it and adding straight cold brew concentrate but still was watery! I believe their whole batch was off. At that very moment a big rush of folks came in. Had to wait awhile for a refund, staring at the NO WEAK COFFEE cups on display for sale, but nery was kind honestly apologized & Refunded my card. It wasnt about the refund maybe something else instead would had worked, anyway i went to work without a coffee. That was the whole point of coming in. Maybe just an off-day. Nery was a highlight. But the vibe was off. BUSY location being inside the fountains its like an outdoor shopping outlet mall. I think the last time i was here , years ago, i had a job interview for some other company. The mgr pushed to meet here. Never got the job. Idk why I remembered that.

I've only had Peets a handful of times and I've never been impressed but today changed my outlook! I got an iced black tie and it was great, perfect amount of sweet but I could still taste my coffee. This is definitely my favorite location now!

Espresso reward that Allison Wrong redeemed for $120 which I will never use.

As a loyal peets customer, this is the worst location to go to. I am honestly in disbelief with my experience here. I came in and ordered a medium iced matcha latte with 4 scoops of matcha. This day I wanted to use my points to pay for my drink since I had been saving them up. As I'm pulling up my peets app I notice that various sauces are being added to the register and I just assumed she was ringing up a different drink. When she goes to scan my app my total says $8.65 when normally it's $5.65. I didn't think too much of it because I was paying with my rewards. I asked the manager Allison Wright which reward to redeem for the matcha and she went on my phone and redeemed an espresso drink. She scans it and obviously it doesn't work. She goes on my phone again to redeem the correct reward for a tea latte and scans that one and it goes through. Each free drink is 120 points which is 1 point per dollar spent. She costed me an extra $120 for redeeming the wrong reward so I asked her about it because I never drink espresso drinks. She said once the reward expires the points will go back to my account. Based off of experience and basic knowledge I knew that she was incorrect. I told her I redeemed the wrong one before and I never got the points back. At other Peet's locations if the wrong reward is redeemed they would still honor the free drink. She kept gaslighting me so I just said okay and walked away. When they called my name for my drink I noticed my drink was brown when it's normally a bright green. I asked is this the matcha latte with 4 scoops of matcha? He said yes, the matcha latte with 4 scoops of matcha, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, strawberry sauce, simple syrup, etc. Allison Wright said to the employee, I told you to put just the 4 scoops of matcha. Like why add those things to my drink anyways? I was so confused and weirded out by the situation. He remade my drink and I asked another employee about the points and I'm pretty sure they knew I wouldn't get them back. As I was asking them she rudely smacked the receipt on the counter saying we only redeemed the tea latte reward yet still disregarding the fact that she redeemed the espresso reward. She kept telling me it would go back to my account. The nice employee helping me gave me the customer service number just incase my points didn't go back and said she couldn't do much because Allison Wrong was the manager. I called customer service to ask if those points would go back and they said no. Once the reward is redeemed and expired it's gone. I hope this location hires a new manager who knows their information and cares about customer service. I also feel bad for their employees for their manager making them make unnecessary drinks for no reason.

Best matcha is from Offbeat coffee in sac, but the double at Gu Ca Phe is just as good and has its own unique charm. Worth the price, worth the drive! Amazing. If I got it with normal sweetness, I don't think I'd love it as much. Long version: Cute little spot in an unsuspecting location. I don't live in Roseville but was here for an appointment so I stopped by since this place has been on my list. After trying dozens of matchas in Sacramento and surrounding areas, this one definitely rivals the top spot. It's a small location and the service was nice and pretty standard. They also have a kiosk so you can take extra time to scroll through the menu with photos. Not a fan of the AI artwork throughout if I'm being honest but I know it's a sign of the times. And I'm glad their drinks actually do look pretty damn close to the photos unlike other businesses. I got the regular size double matcha, less sweet. If it was regular sweetness, I don't think I'd like it as much. The matcha is good quality, seems like it was freshly handwhisked but not sure. It is strong without being astringent. The matcha cream is amazing and strong as well. You def have to love matcha to enjoy this one. It's going to be stronger than something you find at Starbucks of course. I love matcha to hit me in the face so this drink was perfect. They have the good ice, too ! A similar matcha I've tried, and is my personal #1 across dozens I've tried, is from Offbeat Coffee (x2 matcha). Gu Ca Phe has finessed something similar and I honestly feel like it would be worth the drive from West Sac to Roseville just for Gu Ca Phe's double matcha. I want to try their other drinks. The sugar croiffle was delicious, too!

The interior is small but clean and brightly lit. The coffee is good but weaker than I expect when getting Vietnamese coffee. It is phin dripped, and the classic flavor is there, but less creamy texture. Traditionally the brew is very strong and mixed with condensed milk only - the ice in this instance is necessary to balance the boldness. In this coffee, between the added milk and large amount of ice, it is watered down and not the full bodied experience you would expect. Overall still a good cup, and probably the best you can get in the immediate area, but not wholly satisfying if you are seeking the traditional Vietnamese coffee flavor.

I'll be honest, the Ethiopian I started with wasn't really showing how I expected. It felt a little muted and flat to me. But here's where it flipped, he actually checked back in, asked what I thought, and instead of brushing it off, he was like "yeah... you're right." That alone tells you a lot. He pivoted and brewed up a Mexican that absolutely slapped. Clean, expressive, way more dialed. From there we just geeked out for a bit talking single origins, roasting approaches, equipment, all of it. That level of awareness and willingness to adjust in real time is rare, and it's what makes a place worth coming back to. I'm really interested to see how he continues to shape the program here. This feels like a shop that's still evolving in a good way.

I was honestly so excited to go to this place. This coffee bar is actually quite hidden, as they are located right behind the Village General Store on Vernon. They have such a spacious patio as well (if you want to sit down and have a good time chatting it up with your other friends), and such big space to wait if you don't want the patio. I got one of their oatmeal cookies as well as their Matcha lattes. What I didn't know was that their oatmeal cookies were gluten free, and they were sourced and made locally by artisans here in Roseville. They also used quite premium-grade matcha that made it taste really good with the whole milk they mixed in eventually. The ambiance and the hospitality was one of the best out there, and I can't wait to be back the next time I'm in Sacramento!

It was incredible. Edwin used the perfect amount of cherry flavoring and dark chocolate. I also had an incredible, homemade, blueberry muffin. It was perfect.
