I come here at least once a week, usually 2-3 times! They serve Peet's coffee and Espresso and the drinks are TASTEEEE! The prices are low and all the money goes to charity. All the workers are volunteers. The space is big and open and has a great vibe. Free wifi and tables with lamps. Bring your laptop and work for the day. They are open 7am to 8pm. The cookies are the bomb. They also have salads and smoothies. Park in the big lot on the north side of the church. AWESOME place!!

Much needed caffeine from the friendliest staff!

Great people, amazing atmosphere, and the drinks are top notch. The apple pie muffins are also the best thing I have ever eaten

These folks know their stuff! Located in a small shopping center, parking is easy. There are two outdoor tables, and they have limited indoor seating. The place is simple, clean, Free WiFi as well. They have a passionate cadre of regulars, and both they and the staff seem eager to make recommendations. Try their different types of beans, from all across the Southern Hemisphere. You will really notice the difference between them and other places. There are a number of tea and other drink options. They have a limited range of food options that includes amazing pastries, some of which are vegan. Only rarely do they have a gluten-free option.

I also someone get a big bag of beans to take home so it is nice for locals to get whatever bean roast they prefer. The inside does not provide much seating so I would not use this place for studying or doing work. It is more of a grab and go place. I got the vanilla blueberry latte. It tasted exactly like a blueberry waffle. It was a good mild flavor but did not have enough caffeine for me. Because it is in a random spot of Roseville I'm not sure if this is a place I would go out of my way for but if you are near the shop you can get your weekly beans here!

I'll be honest, the Ethiopian I started with wasn't really showing how I expected. It felt a little muted and flat to me. But here's where it flipped, he actually checked back in, asked what I thought, and instead of brushing it off, he was like "yeah... you're right." That alone tells you a lot. He pivoted and brewed up a Mexican that absolutely slapped. Clean, expressive, way more dialed. From there we just geeked out for a bit talking single origins, roasting approaches, equipment, all of it. That level of awareness and willingness to adjust in real time is rare, and it's what makes a place worth coming back to. I'm really interested to see how he continues to shape the program here. This feels like a shop that's still evolving in a good way.

I was honestly so excited to go to this place. This coffee bar is actually quite hidden, as they are located right behind the Village General Store on Vernon. There's quite a bit of parking when the storefront is closed, so you wouldn't even expect a wait at all. They have such a spacious patio as well (if you want to sit down and have a good time chatting it up with your other friends), and such big space to wait if you don't want the patio. I got one of their oatmeal cookies as well as their Matcha lattes. What I didn't know was that their oatmeal cookies were gluten free, and they were sourced and made locally by artisans here in Roseville. They also used quite premium-grade matcha that made it taste really good with the whole milk they mixed in eventually. The ambiance and the hospitality was one of the best out there, and I can't wait to be back the next time I'm in Sacramento!

The croissant was perfectly flaky and buttery, the ingredients were fresh, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The quality, flavor, and attention to detail were outstanding. The baristia that helped me was overall nice but the coffee itself lack many things and I was very disappointed. I ordered the Shaken Espresso and asked for sugarfree vanilla with regular milk. They only have 1 size so you don't have much options to choose from. After trying it, I felt like I was just drinking a whole cup of milk, it didn't have ANY espresso/coffee taste in it at all. Note they only have 1 size so its like a large size coffee cup. I brought the coffee back and had asked them to remake it and the barista informed me that it only comes with 1 shot of espresso per drink thus thats why it taste so milky. 1 shot? What? I was so shocked, in such a big cup I would expect at least two shots since the total of it was over $7. Anyways I asked them to remake it with less milk and 5-6 minutes later, it honestly ended up just being worse than earlier... Now it just taste very watery, like a diluted espresso and I can't even drink it. She was nice and helpful but I was disappointed I couldn't enjoy the coffee like I wanted to. So I just tossed the whole cup away, what a waste.
