While my folks were in town, we found ourselves wanting to grab some coffee and ice cream. We arrived on a Thursday at 5PM. People were arriving in this shopping complex so parking was starting to get packed. We walked in and immediately noticed the interesting decor and a fair amount of seating. I had previously checked their menu on their official site which slightly differed from what was displayed so I ended up getting a mocha. My father wandered to the separate section of this establishment and got ice cream. The mocha was great! I substituted it with oat milk - not sure if that's what made it taste better but it was satisfying enough that we ended up heading over there the following day for coffee. I assume because we arrived near dinner hours and school ended, there was quite a bit of foot traffic. But overall, the experience was great! Found my new local coffee spot in Roseville. I ordered the chicken sandwich with house made potato chips. the sandwich was pretty much tasteless...salt, pepper????. the chips were half crispy and half bendy soggy. WTF. I don't recommend either. Friend had the avocado toast. he said it was just ok (only ate half). The arugula on top looked really old. All in all, I would skip this place. A bustling and decent-sized cafe with great food options for breakfast and lunch. The outdoor seating was perfect for the weather and also had more seats upstairs that looked to have a nice view. They even brought the food out to me. I had a Sweet Matcha Latte and a Sausage Breakfast Sandwich, but they also had pastries and regular lunch sandwiches as well. I've been to MoJoe's a few times now and I really enjoy the cozy vibes here. It's very nice on the inside and outside. I like that there is a coffee shop with food on one side and a creamery on the other side. I've tried their coffee before and it was just okay, but I would be open to trying it again. Their food is fantastic though! This review is for their creamery side. I stopped by to grab some dessert while waiting for my dinner to be ready at Masa Masa (in the same plaza and very delicious food there) and the two girls working the counter that day were so kind and helpful! I love that they offer Gunther's ice cream because that is something I miss since moving to Roseville. I got the cookie dough, birthday cake, and espresso chip flavors to go. I have mixed feelings about this place. The decor and space is cool. Tons of tables and lots of good vibes. I love the little market in the front too. But my food was not great at all and the service was fairly slow. I did pick up/take out and waited quite awhile. I tried the breakfast sandwich with chicken sausage and the egg bites (I think they were spinach). Neither were worth the price but I do appreciate the non-pork options. My iced mocha was good though. I will likely try this place again to see if maybe the lunch or dinner menu is better (or maybe some other breakfast items), but it's gonna be awhile. We came here on a weekend to study and enjoy the weather, food and area. We were so grateful that we came, as it was our first time and we definitely enjoyed the ambiance, food and people. Everyone was friendly along with the baristas. We ordered several things (some photos are missing bc we were too hungry to take a photo). We had a breakfast burrito, the chicken quesadilla, the homemade chips with artichoke dip, the chocolate muffin, and maybe 1 other thing, plus the latte, lemonade and iced tea. I've been coming to Mojo's in West Park, Roseville regularly for a cup of coffee and a crêpe. One of the main reasons I chose this spot was the plaza's EV chargers, which clearly state "4 hours free." Unfortunately, every single time I plug in, buy my food and coffee, and sit down, the charging gets cut off after barely 20 minutes. What is the point of advertising 4 hours of free charging if you're just going to turn off the electricity right after paying customers sit down? It feels like a total bait-and-switch just to get people in the door. If the chargers don't work or aren't actually free, take the signs down instead of wasting your customers' time. My daughter talked me into an 8 PM coffee date and we stumbled upon this coffee shop through a Google search. It was a whole vibe. This is my 4th time at MoJoe's and ready to give a honest review. They're located in a newly developed neighborhood right off Pleasant Grove Blvd and about 1/4 mile from Fiddyment Rd. On my first three tries I had only coffee but today I went ahead and ordered a chicken sandwich and potatoe soup. The cashier Abby was very nice and helped us by suggesting what sandwich and soup to try and let me tell you she was 100% darn right! The vibe inside is great with music playing in the backyard not very loud to the point where you can keep a good conversation. Everything tasted delicious and fresh. Who doesn't love Gunther's ice cream? We love this local neighborhood coffee/ice cream shop. Really though, we love the ice cream. Walked in to grab breakfast. Twenty people in line to order. One of the ladies in line has a dog on a leash. That is a health code violation to have a dog in the dining area. No thanks. Turned and left promptly. Dogs are allowed on the patio, not in the dining room. It's your business - enforce the health codes and usher people who bring their dogs inside outside. read more

So it's a coffee shop and they also have a creamery on the right side . The coffee shop has pastries , snacks and so many coffee options they even have alcohol beverages like an affogato with ice cream so good ! They offer different flavors of mimosas as well . The Ice Cream side on the right has a separate seating area with the ice cream counter displaying all the flavors. They have a good selection of flavors to choose from. They have different kind of cones or you can get a cup . They have an upstairs area that is 21 and over only . Once upstairs they have a sitting area upstairs and a really nice outside rooftop . The operation is good although in hindsight, they probably wish they had another cash register and a separated area for their little store of knickknacks. I come there for the coffee though. Until about 18 months ago, they had a very good medium roast. Now their medium roast tastes like a dark roast. That's OK. The last two weeks probably going in five times for iced coffee no ice ice. Today I asked for the same thing and I got a cup mostly full of ice, not coffee and it tasted pretty bad, like a dark roast extraordinaire. French roast or something. Consistency means a lot to coffee drinkers. It just kills me to pay over four dollars for a cup of ice. read more

There's very little better than rounding up all the kids, hopping on our bikes, and heading to Mojos for ice cream and some time at the park. Sometimes I go for a smoothie or coffee instead of ice cream, and it's always just as good. The prices are reasonable for the quality, the staff is always kind and welcoming, and the place is clean with plenty of seating. When I first reviewed MoJoe's two years ago, I gave them 3 stars. I'm downgrading it to 2. I still enjoy the ambience and the employees, but it just seems the food quality has diminished. I recently got a cinnamon roll, which was stale. Other times, my order has been wrong. While they're quick to rectify an incorrect order, it's a more common occurrence than it was previously. I will say that my favorite item on their menu is the Italian sandwich, although it's overpriced (but I'll still order it!). read more

Most of the younger generation hang out at the ice cream section. They also have a covered outdoor patio seating which was completely occupied on a weekday when I came here one time around 10:30a. There is also a second level balcony section which was roped off and not accessible in the two times I've visited. As you enter on the left side are merchandise for sale -- mugs, notecards, stickers, gift bags, etc I've tried their burritos (one each sausage and bacon) and, unfortunately, they were a bit on the salty side for my taste. 24 ice cream flavors to choose from but the scoops on the cones were very small. I was in the area and looking for somewhere to grab a coffee, a bite and do some work (so wifi was a must). I had just had someone recommend MoJoe's so I decided to head in. I ended up getting a large Snickerdoodle Latte ($7) and their Smoked Salmon Bagel ($14.50). The person at the counter was friendly and gave me a number for when my food was ready. It was around 10:30am on a Tuesday and raining, so most of the indoor tables were taken. I ended up at one of the longer tables with a few other people who were working. My coffee was up first and I grabbed it from the counter and one of the staff members brought my bagel over shortly after that. The latte was delicious and had the perfect balance of sweetness for my taste. The bagel was good, but I would have loved just a bit more salmon to balance out the amount of onion on the bagel- or maybe pickled onion instead so it wouldn't overwhelm the other flavors. It was still a great breakfast though and went well with the coffee. It's a nice space to get some work done, but can get a bit loud with the natural noise of the coffee shop on top of everyone's conversations bouncing off the walls. I had a video meeting while I was there and luckily I didn't need to talk on it, but I typically wouldn't expect to do talking meetings at a coffeehouse anyway- unless I got an outdoor spot away from other people. Went to check out the ice cream section at Mojo's and the girl who was working the section was rude. My friend went to get a sample first and then I went to get a sample and before the girl gave me a sample, she rudely asked,"Are you going to purchase anything?" And I responded,"yes." Then she gave me my sample. I ended up purchasing a two scoop ice cream in a cup to go. But honestly, I should've said,"No, not with that attitude." The girl who helped me out at the coffee counter was incredibly sweet and nice! I will be going back for the smoothies but not for the ice cream. I seriously cannot say anything bad about this place at all- they make delicious oat milk lattes, they sell hard ciders, beer, wine, and random decor. I also appreciate how they decorate the inside and outside and sell random things like accessories, kitchen items, and have cute little gifts near the line to order. There's free parking and an ice cream shop in the back corner and a nice park outside back I also really appreciate the seasonal hot and cold drinks they have for the month to try or with all their options of syrup flavors you can make your own coffee as well. Also, big plus is that they always have whipped cream and it's homemade so it's thick and super creamy and good. For someone that doesn't eat pork and can't have it, I am really glad that have really good chicken apple sausages and a really decent non pork option for bfst. My favorite is their 4x4 or 4 corner bfst which includes eggs, wheat toast, fruit, and bacon ( I get chicken sausage and English muffin instead) and ask for their house made blackberry or huckleberry jam/spread- whatever fruit it is, it's fire haha and tastes so yummy on any toast or English muffin. Their service is always great, everyone greets you, smiles, and says hello. It's communal seating indoors, they have filtered water for guests, and to-go cups for your drinks. I've been going to Mojos since it opened a few years ago. Love the vibes and the fact it has plenty of seating for guests and it stays open! They have the main entrance area, patio, ice cream area and upstairs for seating. The service has always been warm and welcoming. This place might be the only coffee shop so you'll be paying, what I call the "west park tax" here. It's above average cost for everything so be prepared. Not outrageous, but you'll know what you visit. It's really convenient they have breakfast items, lunch items, and ice cream here in addition to coffee and tea. Coffee and food wise, it's been solid.
