I'm a huge Ben & Jerry's fan so I was very excited to see them in Thunder Valley's food court last night. It was the perfect dessert after our dinner at Thunder Cafe. It shares its food court space with Panda Express and Fatburger and had lots of seating in front of their counter area. We ordered a scoop of their plain Chocolate in a cup and a waffle cone filled with my favorite ice cream of all time -- Cherry Garcia! My mom and I walked around the casino enjoying our ice creams and it really hit that sweet tooth craving! My only complaint was that my waffle cone was a bit stale. They also offered pints as well as milkshakes! Staff and service were quick and friendly too! I will definitely visit again next time we come to Thunder Valley! read more

This is located in Thunder Valley Casino on the far end near the restrooms in the Food Court. Starbucks then Petes Coffee occupied this space before. I was excited to see it as a new arrival but the hours here is very sparse so it took a longtime for me to try it. They are basically only open in the weekend evenings when its busier than I like to visit. Much of the eateries are like this as they have staffing issues and probably not cost effective but it is very disappointing as a customer. They have their basics and not really a huge selection of ice cream. I decided on a waffle cone sundae. The ice cream was just "okay" but waffle cone was awful. It had a cinnamon flavor that ruined my sundae. I ended up not eating it. It was not inexpensive and nothing special. Service was friendly enough. I won't be itching to return. It will work in a pinch for a sweet tooth hankering. read more

Trash Had I known the dude was gonna hit me for $5.36 for a single scoop on a sugar cone, I would if not ordered at all I'm not big on sweets but tonight the consensus was ice cream. And I kinda felt like " aye, why not!?" What a waste. I eat ice cream like 3-4 times a year. And I'm fit with an athletic frame. I mean, I feel okay at the pool or beach without my shirt on 100%. I can afford a scoop here and there especially for a 40+ sit down job dude. Problem #1 I didn't even receive a real legit sized scoop. I got the "aye, fat boy, you don't get a full scoop, scoop!!!!" Call me creaky but I'm old school. When you buy a scoop of ice cream, it's a real scoop. Not softball sized but at least a cue-ball or baseball sized scoop. What I received was like the size of that small all ball you use when playing bocci ball. No joke. It was about the same size as the large size gumball from that funny ass .25 cent gumball machines. It was just big enough to fill the cup on my sugar cone! ...Dicks! I almost walked away but I felt compelled because I was the dummy that ordered this. Short story short, avoid this place and just grab a gallon. The ice cream itself wasn't that great. I'd rather have Hagen Daaz personally. Moving on read more

We love this place I think it's the only dine in Ben and Jerrys location in California, it's located inside of the casino on the casino floor where all the food court is, and staff here are polite. We love getting here the banana split the best. Clean spot too. No complaints:) read more

Went to Ben & Jerrys at Thunder Valley Casino Friday Jan 12th around 7 pm. Horrible service, they were out of bananas, so there were no splits. Asked for a fudge Sunday, and they said the brownies were in the oven and not ready for over an hour. The person serving us was obviously new at the job. We asked for 2 cups of specific flavors to go. When we got back to our room, both were wrong. I don't understand why they don't open all week until Friday. Or get better qualified help and stock their inventory. read more

It's New Years Eve, you just made some money and are waiting for a concert to start...what do you do?!?! Get a Ben & Jerry's sundae!! I was really excited when I read on Thunder Valley's website that a Ben & Jerry's would be opening in the casino. Fast forward to New Year's Eve when I was waiting for a concert to start in Pano Hall right next to the food court and we have a pre-concert dessert in the making. The place was packed but line moved really quickly, employees super friendly and ice cream tasted great. We ordered hot fudge and brownie sundaes. We got the change to pick the ice cream we wanted in our sundaes at a super clean counter, selected our toppings and were tasting deliciousness in no time. I will be back! Came here last Sunday around 7pm and was happy to see that it was open because probably like a week before it was closed. Anyways, there was a few people ahead of me so I waited awhile. I ordered a Cookie Sundae with cookie dough ice cream and topped it with Reese candy. It also was topped with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. It was good but the cookies weren't as good and soft as I expected. They only have two bar top tables for a max capacity seating of 5 when I went but surely there's a lot of seats not within the actual shop because this is at the food court area. read more

I was so excited to see there would now be an ice cream option available inside the casino. The two people working at the time were very pleasant and very helpful with great suggestions for flavors and they were fast and efficient. Great customer service all around. We got two handpacked pints (Strawberry Cheesecake and Chocolate Therapy) both were great but out of the 4 of us taste testing we though the Chocolate Therapy flavor was amazing, even my husband liked it and he hates chocolate. We were in town for work and yelped desserts. We found out there was a Ben & Jerry's near by and drove over. Half way there we were confused where the maps was taking us, because we were really far away from anything else. Well to our fortunate surprise we end up parking getting down to a large convention center type building. Went through some large doors to find a beautiful casino and amazing vibes! We went in and towards the back they have a few different restaurants and desserts. This is where the Ben & Jerry's was and so not only did we get our delicious ice cream but we got a quick thrill as well! The staff member that helped us was really on the same page and did not make us feel weird about any of the questions or requests we had; I wish I could've gotten his name! We were there tonight and as we were waiting for our milkshakes I watched the employee Sydney help a customer at the register and then turn around not changing her gloves and continue to make cones. Not only that we told one of the other employees and still nothing happened. She didnt change her gloves after handling money. I will not be back. read more
