Service was below average and very sloppy, we purchased a total of 4 boxes of cookies and baked goods, all of the boxes had frosting smeared over them despite some of the boxes were being gifted. The featured item, fudge brownies, was a genuine miss and the consistent opportunity was poor presentation / assembling of the over priced product. This is the email that I sent the manager of the Rocklin store and I got no response. I even sent a follow up email the next day and again no response. That was two weeks ago! Hi I ordered a s'mores cookie today around noon and used my birthday reward. I just opened the cookie this afternoon to eat it and it looks dry/stale. When I cut into it, it was hard and when I took a bite, it was completely stale. I have had S'more cookies from you guys in the past, and they've been very good. I feel like the employee gave me one of yesterday's leftover cookies. I expressed my disappointment in the survey that I was sent by Crumbl but I thought I would reach out to your store directly. Wow wow! I don't know why this is my first time trying Crumbl. I had their special for their month, a sugar cookie with Mother's Cookies X's & O's, Birthday Cake, and Milk Chocolate Chip. February Sugar Cookie - I got it because it was their special for February. I liked it a lot and enjoyed the cookies as toppers. Birthday Cake - This is very sweet. They do not skimp on the frosting and I love the touch of heart sprinkles on top. Milk Chocolate Chip - This is always a classic and I regret not getting two of it. I love that their cookies are fairly big, thick, and soft all at the same time. There is no way I would be eating all four cookies in one sitting. The cookies are about as round as a donut and 1/2" or so thick. They came in a super nice box. Way more sturdy than a donut box. Where's the Graham flavor? Limeade-this was the only cookie we finished. I think it seemed less sweet, because of the lime. The staff was friendly and efficient. The store was clean and cute. My first time at a Crumbl Cookies ... was at this Rocklin location. Yeah, it took me awhile but I finally tried their cookies. When it first opened its location in Roseville there were so many people and parking was limited. Then the reviews... oh man. Anyway, I decided to wait till the hype died down and the one day I tried to return they were closed! Oh well... they are closed on Sundays. Visiting the Rocklin location was a nicer experience. The store is cozy and clean and they have a couple of iPads in place where you could place your order online for pickup. What is the difference from ordering from my phone? Anyway, I stood in line, only one customer ahead of me but she took so long placing her order. This gave me a chance to check out the flavors this week (their menu changes weekly to 4-5 different specialty flavors). None of the cookies appealed to me so I chose a classic milk chocolate chip. This is always included in the rotation. The cookies were huge and thick... sweet and chewy with large chunks of chocolate chips! They're very good but the cookies are pricey... $4.50 for one, it's almost the same price as my movie ticket ($5 Tuesdays). I love the pink box... The cookies are always good. The girls the first time I went in just sat there and finished their conversation before they took our order. They are always kind when they give us our order. Today we went in there and it was busy. Of course tons of people got there order before us because we had to pay with cash. We waited for 15mins before they took our order and our cash. The girl kept her gloves on took our cash and gave us change and never changed her gloves before making orders. That is what really got me. Money is the nastiest thing on earth. From the moment we walked in, the crew member gave off an unwelcoming vibe--no smile, no greeting, and the first thing he said was, "We're cash only." That's fine, but the attitude made it feel like we were inconveniencing him just by being there. We tried asking about the cookie flavors, but instead of answering, he just stared at the oven, completely ignoring us like he didn't even hear the question. When we were ready to pay and handed him a $100 bill, he suddenly said he didn't have change. This could have been avoided if he'd mentioned upfront that they don't accept large bills. Overall, it felt like the staff had no idea how to do his job or interact with customers. Definitely not the kind of service you expect from Crumbl. For all i know he is pocketing the money hence he said cash only...just saying...what a punk!. Hope management takes action to improve this location. read more
