Cozy Tous Les Jours chain with my favorite red bean donut. Lots of fresh pastries available and drink options. I think there was too many people in the back so there was some confusion when ordering/getting our order, but everyone was very kind and friendly about it! It was honestly not crowded, but there was a line to pay. They also were out of black coffee, but had espresso! Service was quick, and we were able to get in and out fast. Standard food consistency with other Tous Les Jours.

Milk tea

This is a drink review only. Assam milk tea is just what it is...black tea with milk and sugar. I got it iced and it was perfect on a hot day, although I think it was missing some boba. That would've elevated the drink experience. They also don't ask you the sugar level, but I'm sure I could have asked for less sugar. This is also a bakery and not a drink speciality shop. I would probably get it hot next time - with less sugar. I also wouldn't go out of my way to get a drink here. 7/10.

Rahul is very personable with his clients and gave us a classy baby shower cake. It was perfect for our event.

We love the flavors of the cakes and when we learned that they have a decorator that can personalize the cakes, we were over the moon! Rahul was fabulous in meeting our themed baby shower. He met with us to learn about what we wanted. The day of the event he texted the progress of the decor and asked if we wanted any changes. Just amazing customer service. I think it is because he cares about his clients and has a passion to decorate cakes. I highly recommend his talented service.

Iced Matcha Latte

Stopped by a couple hours before closing so there weren't many pastries to choose from. I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte ($5.25) & 3 pastries ($3.65-$5.65 each). It was my first time visiting, I've heard of this franchise before but wasn't aware there was one in Roseville so I was super excited to try. The Matcha Latte wasn't anything special, tasted decent but probably wouldn't order again. I did enjoy the pastries but I would probably come earlier in the day so they're fresh. I spent $20.68 after tip for 4 items. They have a cute aesthetic and good amount of seating as well. Can definitely be an area to get any work done if needed. I didn't receive much service other than checking out at the registers but they were all very nice.

Beautiful place for a coffee date! Wide range of fresh pastry selection both sweet and savory. I tried cream cheese pastry which was buttery, crisp and flaky on outside with soft and creamy middle. They have a wide range of cake selection. Services was nice and quick. Most importantly staff seemed happy and saw two team members enjoying food from cafe on their break. Which shows they like what they sell.

Came in one morning to get a birthday cake. It was about 8am and was surprised to see many shelves still empty. But they had some of my favorites out so that wasn't a problem. I noticed they had the famous Korean garlic cream cheese bread and had to get it. I also got the mango cake. The garlic cream cheese bread was good. Definitely needs to be eaten warm so the cream cheese is nice and gooey. The topping isn't exactly what I expected but it still tasted good. The mango cake is heaven!! It's light and filled with mango chunks. And like with any Asian bakery, it's not too sweet! Really the best compliment you can get!

I was so excited to visit this new coffee/pastry shop. All the savory and sweet items look delicious, and the ones I picked up were very tasty. I'm already looking forward to going back and picking up some more goodies. This first time I decided to pick up the Portuguese egg custard, the spinach feta, the caramel apple, and the garlic sausage items. Each of them had such good flavor and were very flaky. I also ordered the iced tiramisu latte and it was very sweet, but in a good way and not in an overwhelming way. It was even topped off with cacao powder so it looked very pretty. The workers were also very friendly and welcoming, and there's a lot of seating inside the shop. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

This is place is so cute and the pastries are delicious. Came in and everyone was really friendly. I liked how they had the trays and tongs at the front door, so you can go straight to the glass cabinets. There were so many options, we didn't know what to pick. We got like 10 things but only took pictures of the macaroons. Just know everything we got was delicious and barely made it to the next day. Definitely would recommend this bakery!

Grab a tray, tray liner paper, and tongs!

Came by to try some pastries after hearing about this place and finally being in the area. It reminds me of 85°C Bakery where you grab a tray and tongs to grab pastries. Got the apple pastries, blueberry cream cheese bread, custard bun, and some cream filled donuts. They were all good and I'd definitely return if in the area again. Check-out was pretty quick and they bag up your pastries for you and you can also order drinks as well. All the seats and tables were filled so I see this is a popular spot to hang out!

I came into Tous Les Jours for an evening treat and was surprised to see such a great selection even at the end of the day. The staff were friendly and the inside of the cafe was vibrant and clean. The birthday cake macaroon was to die for, and I am already counting down the days to get another one! The other sweets I got were also delightful and tasted so yummy and fresh.

Monte cristo, chocolate pastry and an almond croissant
Dana A.

Ohhh lala! We walked into paradise! Everything looked delicious and was absolutely beautifully displayed! The hardest part was choosing which delectable to purchase! My bff and I always share so we can try more things, we started with the monte cristo, chocolate pastry and the almond croissant...and latte's of course! Everything was ahhhhmazing! Like I can't stop thinking of it. Crispy, buttery, cheesy goodness. I will be back, like tomorrow!!!

Yummy fudge brownie
Amy H.

We haven't stopped by in a while. But each time we go it's so hard to decide what to get. Their pastries, breads, chocolate chip cookies and fudge brownie are so very yummy! Can't wait to go back. Smaller location, they run out fast. They seem to have better prices then other similar places. I think more flavor in their items also.

Julia C.

We really enjoyed our breakfast here, everything was very fresh. The restaurant was clean and had a good amount of seating. Blueberry cheese pastry - 10/10, so flaky, perfectly balanced level of sweetness. Chocolate hazelnut croissant - 9/10, again, flaky and fresh. The chocolate amount was a really good ratio to the dough and the croissant was not super dense and dry. The top was almost caramelized with hardened sugar. Vanilla donut - 10/10, very strong vanilla bean filling for the cream. The donut itself was very light and soft, coated in sugar. Chocolate donut itself- 5/10, the chocolate flavor was so light you could barely taste it. It didn't pair well with the whipped cream filling. Same light and fully donut on the exterior. Chocolate chip cookie - 8/10, this was surprising because it was filled with a layer of chocolate on top of the chocolate chips. A solid cookie. Sweet corn and cheese bagel bites - 6/10, these were very weird. They were mislabeled as a cinnamon bagel bite, so not what I was expecting. The flavor itself was okay, just not something I would order again. The inside was a cheese paste with sweet corn kernels mixed in. The outside was rolled in white sugar Hot vanilla latte - good drink, not too sweet. The espresso flavor was very strong.

Everything on their menu looked really good, but I decided to go with something a little more refreshing: a strawberry sundae. Ordering is super easy through two tablets to the left of the counter. It does force you to provide a phone number, so make sure you don't forget to opt out of those pesky text messages once you leave (if that's your preference). The tap-to-pay was very responsive too. The order didn't take long at all, and I very much enjoyed sitting on their little poofs around one of their tables. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and my sundae was so light and easy to eat. It had a generous helping of strawberry goodness, with even more at the bottom, which was quite a lovely surprise. Also, the two Pocky sticks on the side didn't even make it past my first two spoonfulls. Last time I came here was a while ago, but I will definitely make an effort not to wait that long again.

Black Sesame Swirl - 9.2/10 This ice cream is SO good like it tastes very nutty and toasty while not being overwhelmingly sweet. I would definitely get this ice cream again if I happen to stop by. Yuzu Sparkling Matcha - 5.1/10 I thought about trying their matcha lattes but I wanted to try something different so that's why I got this drink instead and honestly.. it's not that good tbh. I honestly hate sparkling drinks with matcha in general because it doesn't pair well imo. The Sparkling Yuzu is like the only thing that I can only taste and the sourness makes the matcha really bitter in a bad way. Although I do appreciate the color of the matcha so you know that they're not using low quality matcha that's for sure. Miso Caramel Kohl - 7.5/10 My family member got this drink and it honestly tastes a lot better than I thought especially since they use miso in coffee which is an interesting combination. Also, the caramel gives the miso a more nutty and sweet taste. I don't really like caramel but it's honestly not too bad. But the coffee flavor is REALLY strong so I would recommend it for those who love coffee. Service was good and they made the ice cream and drinks pretty fast even though it was kind of crowded when I went. There's some seating but just make sure to come when it's not too crowded. The place is pretty clean and nice overall so I would definitely recommend their ice cream especially the Black Sesame Swirl! ‍

Right when you walk in, the sweet aroma of fresh baked sweets welcomed you in. There was a good crowd inside which we thought were waiting to order but found out they were waiting for the fresh baked sweet bread. A must if you ever try any. Just looking through the case of all the amazing creation. Basically fancy donuts. One after the other. They also had a few savory items included. Didn't get any but they looked amazing. We ended up going with the bad bundles. Half dozen donuts and 20 piece staxx. Found out that's what people were waiting for when we walked in. Everyone was waiting for them to come fresh out of the oven hence the long wait. It did take a while for us but we were offered a cookie to try while waiting. It was delicious, I do recommend the ube cookies. After what did take a long while, we tried our fresh HOT box of staxx. Let me say, wow they were amazing and of course hot. Straight from the oven. Nice moist bread with a nice sweet glaze. I can see what the hype was about with them. Everyone in line for them. We didn't get a chance to try the donuts right away. By the time we had them, it had been sitting for a while. Still good but better if they were fresh from the start. It was good regardless and this place was great. We came in the afternoon on a Sunday so it was not very busy at all. One of the major "cons" I have about this place is the size/shape of the boba drink containers. It has such a wide base that the cups cannot fit into any standard car cup holder. You are left with the choice of either trying to guzzle everything at the store or not open your drink at all until you get home or where you are trying to go. The store is located in a rather older shopping center. Not very many popular stores around, which makes parking very easy actually.

I was pleasantly surprised by their unique take on a lot of items. I'm actually pretty surprised they're doing well out here. It's a small shop and there was one person running the whole place when we stopped in. She was taking orders, making drinks, and getting everything out herself. Maybe I'm just an antique, but at a small independent business like this, I don't expect the same scripted greetings and customer-service theater you get from a giant chain. She was busy, efficient, and got our order out without an issue. That's good service in my book. The menu is genuinely interesting, too. You can tell they're trying to do something different rather than serving the same recycled stuff you can find every few blocks. Everything we tried was good, and the kids were happy, which is ultimately why I stopped in. Small businesses like this are operating on razor-thin margins, especially in an area dominated by chains, so I appreciate finding a place willing to take a chance and bring something different to the neighborhood wether they deserve it or not.
