Even though there were only 15 reviews, they were all excellent so I decided to take a chance. Boy, I am so glad I did! Of course, the chocolates (I ordered the large box of Bon-bons and highly recommend them.) are top notch and the colors are beautiful. I think other reviews cover this so I will focus on everything else. The owner (woman owned, yes, please) could not have been more gracious when I contacted her mid afternoon for a gift I needed within a couple of hours. These are custom chocolates, frequently sold out, I was lucky they were available. In addition, I was having one of those days when I seemed to be incapable of doing anything efficiently, and was really stressed and anxious because I'm the newest daughter in law and wanted to nail this whole birthday gift thing. In short, by the time I spoke with her, I was heading towards hot-mess territory. This woman was so kind, understanding and (so very, very) patient that I actually felt calmer after we spoke. Beyond that, the presentation box was elegant (each chocolate nestled inside like a little jewel) and placed in a simple white gift bag with a tasteful satin bow tied jauntily around the handles. But the best part, for me, was a lovely note composed by the owner that was better than anything I could have written myself. Plus, she printed it with purple ink because I mentioned that was MIL's favorite color. I mean, does it get better? So, definitely, going back for future chocolate needs. Hopefully not the day of, next time.

We came in to find some gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week & they had several themed items like a packaged box of chocolates & cute bags. Some customers got personal help from staff on the floor, but we didn't get acknowledged until we approached the candy counter. We were offered either milk or dark chocolate options for a sample. For purchase, we selected the limited time Dark Mint Scotchmallow (strong mint flavor) & Dark Coffee Scotchmallow (coffee flavor was too subtle for me). The lady who helped us & rang us up was friendly & quick. People were very happy to receive the sweets we gifted them.

Not only do they have someone at the door offering free samples to lure in people, but they will also let you try any kind of chocolate. I was in heaven! We took home an assortment of chocolate pieces plus these marshmallow type chocolates that came in dark, milk, coconut and even strawberry flavor! It is a great place to grab a gift for someone - they had lots of gift box ideas! I will be keeping them in mind if I ever need anything. You can even get little individual packaged chocolates as well - kind of like how Ghirardelli does it, only better! Everyone working at Laderach was super nice and knowledgeable! One of the employees told me that the chocolate is flown in fresh from Switzerland every week and it really shows! Overall, Laderach might be my new favorite chocolate shop next to Ginger Elizabeth's! I will be visiting every time I am at the Roseville Galleria now - and you should be to! Läderach offers a wide variety of chocolates, from large breakable slabs in different flavors to bonbons and truffles, all displayed beautifully. Everything feels high-end and thoughtfully presented. BB loves anything matcha, so she tried the matcha chocolate and said it was delicious. I went with the mini mousse caramel milk chocolate, which was rich, smooth, and definitely worth it. The service really stood out -- the cashier was extremely helpful, offering samples, sharing recommendations, and making the experience feel welcoming. The shop itself is clean and visually appealing, and even the packaging feels elevated. They also offer options for those with nut allergies, which is a nice touch. Everything on their menu looked really good, but I decided to go with something a little more refreshing: a strawberry sundae. Ordering is super easy through two tablets to the left of the counter. It does force you to provide a phone number, so make sure you don't forget to opt out of those pesky text messages once you leave (if that's your preference). The tap-to-pay was very responsive too. The order didn't take long at all, and I very much enjoyed sitting on their little poofs around one of their tables. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and my sundae was so light and easy to eat. It had a generous helping of strawberry goodness, with even more at the bottom, which was quite a lovely surprise. Also, the two Pocky sticks on the side didn't even make it past my first two spoonfulls. Last time I came here was a while ago, but I will definitely make an effort not to wait that long again.

Black Sesame Swirl - 9.2/10 This ice cream is SO good like it tastes very nutty and toasty while not being overwhelmingly sweet. I would definitely get this ice cream again if I happen to stop by. Yuzu Sparkling Matcha - 5.1/10 I thought about trying their matcha lattes but I wanted to try something different so that's why I got this drink instead and honestly.. it's not that good tbh. I honestly hate sparkling drinks with matcha in general because it doesn't pair well imo. The Sparkling Yuzu is like the only thing that I can only taste and the sourness makes the matcha really bitter in a bad way. Although I do appreciate the color of the matcha so you know that they're not using low quality matcha that's for sure. Miso Caramel Kohl - 7.5/10 My family member got this drink and it honestly tastes a lot better than I thought especially since they use miso in coffee which is an interesting combination. Also, the caramel gives the miso a more nutty and sweet taste. I don't really like caramel but it's honestly not too bad. But the coffee flavor is REALLY strong so I would recommend it for those who love coffee. Service was good and they made the ice cream and drinks pretty fast even though it was kind of crowded when I went. There's some seating but just make sure to come when it's not too crowded. The place is pretty clean and nice overall so I would definitely recommend their ice cream especially the Black Sesame Swirl! ‍
