Saba and I went over different sunflower cakes and after reviewing Cake Nirvanas website I decided to move forward with purchasing a custom cake from Cake Nirvana who didn't disappoint. The creativity, design and detail had my wife and I both surprised and happy. The cake was moist and mouth watering with each bite. I first ordered a cake from Saba for my wedding in June, and we wanted a four-layered cake with different flavors and a flower cascade. We ended up getting red velvet cake with white chocolate ganache, vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream, and brown sugar chocolate chip with chocolate ganache. I provided the flowers, and she put them on the cake on the wedding day. The cake was exactly what my husband and I wanted, and the cake was delicious! The strawberry buttercream was especially popular, given it was all gone by the end of the night! I also ordered a cake for my husband's birthday, and given that he is a huge Sacramento Kings fan, I wanted to do a purple beam-themed cake. Saba was not only able to bring my cake design to life, but she even came up with the great idea of using a purple glow stick as the beam when I couldn't think of better options. My husband absolutely loved it! Saba was very flexible throughout the planning process for both the wedding and birthday cakes, and throughout our communications she's explained to me how she has experimented and learned new techniques to achieve the flavors and designs she makes today. She is so nice and creative, and I love how she's still learning new things to improve her craft. Her prices are also reasonable for the amount of time and care she puts into her cakes. I would highly recommend Cake Nirvana to anyone, especially if you want a truly special and delicious cake! read more

As an artist, I combine my instinct for sculpting, molding, and colors with the chemistry needed to bring separate, individual ingredients into a single flavor - a single emotion. Originally from India, I'm based in the Greater Sacramento area and am a mother of two lovely daughters, and the wife of a marketing executive. We measure success in squeals of delight and widening of eyes in amazement. Every time I see the sparkle in the eyes of the guest of honor, whether it's a nine year old or ninety year old, I feel privileged to be the Chief Happiness Officer of Cake Nirvana.

Then, I find out that Rocklin Donuts and Cinnamon have made it onto some of the best donut lists in the whole country! The chocolate croissant was not flaky or crispy, but had that classic donut shop chewy texture, and of course, was loaded with chocolate. I HAVE to come back for the apple fritter, as that's one of my favorite donuts, and the cinnamon rolls look insane. I will be back!

Very tasty. I ordered the Jasmine Tea boba. Pro-tip: you can ask for less sweet on the teas. He customized my milk tea at 50% sweetness. I look forward to coming back to try the pork adobo, order more lumpia and try the spam musubi. It's been awhile since I've had good Filipino food! I grew up in a very culturally diverse area and missed these dishes, so I'm stoked to have this available right down the street from my work.
