Inside the Thunder Valley casino is this Fatburger at the food court. I went casually with a friend as he lives next to this place. Burger was good. Many different sizes you can order. I skipped the fries becuase I think they are some of the worst things a person can eat. Something about the chemical reaction of potatoes with oil. If I can I try to order cole slaw - I'm not sure if they had sides like that - I somehow don't remember it and lean to think not. Soda was poured by the people there - and it was fine. Had to finally try these hamburgers and they are amazing, delicious, simple yet unique! We added on extra lettuce, onions, cheese, sides of ranch, and mayo. We knew this burger would fill us up. From how I remember their food tasting, there was not any seasoning on the burger. When they called out that our order was ready, I requested some salt and pepper packets. The women behind the counter were friendly with kind faces. They were very polite (don't forget to tip!) We cut our burger in half and admired how the burger ingredients were stacked. The nicely melted cheese. Warm toasted bun... our mouths were salivating. After the first bite... I felt like it definitely needed salt and pepper. My man said his half was perfect the way it was... as he dipped in ranch and mayo. Their ranch is delicious (delicious ranch is very important!) You could get more fries for less money and for easier convenience at McDonald's. The Kingburger is a 1/2 lb burger. It is large and could be shared with another person. However, the burger doesn't seem worth it. Overgrilled and dry on the outside of the burger, but the meat inside is medium and a little pink. I had to add ketchup for flavor and moisture. They have meat or vegetarian options. Then you can also choose a side and beverage. As we vocalized our orders, the young man at the counter was having a hard time getting our orders straight. Either the casino was too loud and he couldn't hear us, or he was just confused. My dad got an original burger: Fresh, ground, 100% pure lean beef, grilled to perfection and built-to-order. Served on a freshly toasted sponge-dough bun. Along with sweet potato fries and Coke. I ordered the Veggie Burger: A soy patty on a fresh whole-wheat bun with everything on it. I also added on skinny fries, but received sweet potato fries instead. Then I had a diet Coke to wash it down with. My sister just ordered sweet potato fries. We took everything to go. First the ordering process was ridiculous. We stood in line for 20 minutes with about 10 people in front of us. The lady who took our order was very nice but clearly overwhelmed. The cost for 2 burgers, 2 shakes and one fry was 45 dollars which is asinine. It took 35 minutes for our food to get made and the burgers were no better than high school cafeteria food. I love Fatburger and I always have a great experience but tonight I went to Fatburger and my husband stood right in front of the counter where you pick the food up and the worker who was a lady standing on the other side told my husband he couldn't stand there because that's where people pick the orders up and we sat at the table to wait for our food and when I got home, I look at my burgers and both of my skinny burgers have mustard when I asked for no mustard.. Plain and overpriced This Fatburger is located inside Thunder Valley Casino at their food court. It is only one of two Fatburger locations in NorCal, the other location being in Livermore, the rest are all in SoCal. Well, my original plan was a happy hour at High Steaks Steakhouse but there is no happy hour when there is a concert going on at the Pano Hall so scratch that idea and here I am at Fatburger. Their Panda Express in this location is just as bad :( My experiences before was okay except the wait was forever long and they yelled out your ticket number so you have to be nearby to be able to hear your number. I haven't dined here in a awhile and now they've upgraded to having an electronic sign boards from both ends of their booth where they flash your number when your food is ready. yay! So after waiting for awhile at a nearby table I saw my order number flash on the board and I go up to the counter and I still had to wait! whut?? Grrr! I ordered the "Original" deal meal (comes with soda and fries). It is their cheapest deal on their menu board. Came out to $12.53 (w/ tax). I would've gladly paid that price if they came out as fat burgers but they were like kids meal, maybe because I opted not to have relish and onions. It was not a big burger but satisfied my hunger for a little bit because they loaded up on my tasteless skinny fries. I never learn... next time go to In-N-Out for dinner pre concert for half the price. You'll get your money's worth there and the wait would be worth it.
