I love coming to this location after getting off of work this in the same shopping center as my job and is very conveniently located for me the staff that work at this location are very friendly and plus every time you go to any Carl's Jr it a good idea to get the Carl's Jr app and start earning points. I know what you're thinking another app but this is a free app and every time they scan your phone you earn points and once you hit a certain amount of stars, you can redeem them for free items. My favorite item here is the chicken club. It comes on sourdough. It comes with chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise. I like to get it without tomatoes or lettuce. I know I'm funny. I don't like those items and I always get it with Chris cuts because they're Chris cuts. Here are amazing. They always make them fresh every order. They are also very well known for their famous star hamburgers, which are really good as well. This location is great for breakfast lunch and dinner and they open every day early morning and are open pretty late. Definitely a great place to stop at if you have a craving or if you're hungry, they got you covered. I highly recommend Carl's Jr.'s of Rocklin greatest establishment great hot delicious food. I eat here every couple of months. It's always been very consistent. You get what you expect. Service has always been friendly and I have no complaints. Just went today (5/31/26) around 7 pm, ordered a meal... apparently the wait was for fries... and had the worst hamburger I've ever had in my life. Ordered a double with cheese and got two orphaned patties, that looked like they'd been kept warm in someone's rear end, and 2 buns that looked like they were kept warm and smashed in the front end. No lettuce, no cheese, part of a dead tomato and soaking in ketchup. Boys, if you don't give a shit, go work somewhere else. So my family and I were craving for some burgers. Carl's Jr was close by and there we went. The Cashier "K", seemed a bit lost. But was able to get all our order in. We got to our table and waited for our food. The dining area was really empty. However, drive thru is very busy. 2-3 cars every 5-10 minutes. We got our food under 10 minutes even though we were the only ones in the dining area. What wasn't delivered nor asked of us, if we wanted ketchup or ranch with our sides. Worse, they only offer napkins per item ordered. There is no napkin dispenser whatsoever. If you are coming here for the Green Burrito items. Order to go or drive thru. There is no Salsa Bar like in the past. Refer to my pic. And well, I can't comment on the Green Burrito food since I didn't order it. But maybe in the near future, I will. Just to see how it compares to Taco Bell, Del Taco or Jim Boys. The middle age woman manager is something of a character. A bit loud, strict, straight up & direct and unsure if its her demeanor or simply her grumpy attitude of customer service that has waned over the years in the food service sector. Her crew seems to just absorb her and push it off to the side. They seem more independent to a point until the Sargent barks. So I see no mentoring, coaching or even actual management. But then again, maybe this how the region is taught to manage. So I am not sure why the dining area is restricted from certain items such as napkins, the lack of a salsa bar especially when they have Green Burrito items as an offering. Or why condiments are not offered during your purchase. But I hear that offer during drive thru orders. In my opinion, this Carl's Jr./ Green Burrito is a hit or miss on any given day. It all depends on the day and time you arrive to eat here. Though the staff overall could use some inspirational initiative. If the Regional GM reads, he/she should know how to do this. read more

my husband and I ordered 2 double bacon western cheeseburger at the drive thru. Waited for 15 minutes for our order to be ready. We got home only to find out that we were given singles on both orders. What a disappointment! I called the store to let them know and was told to bring back the orders so they can remake them! No apologies, no empathy, just said bring the burgers back! REALLY!!! As others have said the customer service and food at this place is HORRENDOUS! The onion rings put on my western bacon were so hard and stale that a piece cut the inside of my mouth! When I called to have them remedy the issue I was told to save the food and bring it back the next or day or whenever I could make it back or they would do nothing. Never again. I've gone here before and stopped going because of cold as ice French Fries. Wanted a burger and fries tonight, so tried it again. After waiting in the drive-thru line for close to 10 minutes, I get to the window and he hands me the bag. Taste the French Fries and they're cold again. They made me drive around to the front and wait another five minutes for the Manager to bring out the fries. At home, I found the burger was cold as well. I have never had any issues with my food or service at this location, and I have lived in this area since before this location even existed and have been coming here for years. The quality of food, service and cleanliness has always been kept up and way above average, in my opinion. However, this review isn't about that. I was having an aweful night and showed up to get food just before closing. Went there on a Sunday (yesterday) for a hamburger. Am diabetic, so was looking forward to their touted low carb wrap. They were all out of lettuce. Son wanted onion rings, they were out of those too, only had enough for burgers. Ordered 3 sliders to try, they were out of the cardboard inserts they put them in. Heard staff say they were almost out of French fries and wether to substitute hash browns or fried zucchini. Then had to listen to staff complain how management never orders enough supplies and they have to deal with it. Would not recommend this Carl's Jr. read more

I gave this Carls Jr. 2 stars just for their incredible customer service. Every time I go here they are very polite and friendly. My gripe is with the quality of the food. It has been horrible. My last burger looked like it fell apart in the char grill then they scraped up the pieces and put it in a bun. My crisscut fries were half full and cold. I ordered the steakhouse burger and it was smooshed and pathetic. Every time I order a western it has almost no bbq sauce. I have to order it with extra bbq sauce and ask for even more at the window just to get what should be standard. Customer service is slow and poor, manager is incompetent, and the food is lousy. Consistently bad fries/onion rings and sloppy burger construction. Green burrito is bad too. Consistently soggy/wet and old tortillas that fall apart as you unwrap. Go the to Stanford Ranch location by Costco, or in Lincoln. Avoid this location at ALL costs. Green Burrito review, I have been going to this location for a long time and way too often since it is so close to my house. I wrote a review for Carl's a while ago but I had never tried any of the Green Burrito items. So I have been trying some of the Mexican food items on the far left of the menu. The burritos and such are pretty good. They have an El Diablo burrito which is very good. I like their El Diablo burger so no surprise there. Their basic burritos and other items that I am going through have been pretty good as well. Not fine Mexican cuisine by any means but comparable to other fast food fare. The food comes out as quickly as the burgers, so I guess people order the Green Burrito stuff more than me. You can get chips or fries with the combos which is cool. I always go fries. I was highly disappointed in this place! I drive a 12' tall box and do not fit in the drive through. The lobby is closed due to the pandemic, so I decided to walk through the drive through. Even after explaining the situation to the manager, he said he could not take my order and that I'll have to get food somewhere else... there was nobody in line and only one car was there before me. The parking lot was empty so I know these guys had nothing else better to do, but they decide to not make money and send an essential worker off hungry. I was SO glad when this new Carl's Jr. opened up...the other one on Sierra College had an employee with major customer service issues, so it was nice to say goodbye to that one! This Carl's Jr. is located right off Hwy 65 and Blue Oaks, next to Chevys and Mel's Diner. They have awesome customer service and their crunchy beef tacos and low carb burgers are consistently fresh, tasty and seemingly almost too-good-to-be-fast-food! Another plus is the dining room and bathrooms are clean, clean, CLEAN! Fast food is usually disappointing (forgotten items, order is wrong, etc.). However, Gage genuinely cares about the type of service he gives customers. I will drive out of my way to go to this location because of this great service. When I order my coffee, Gage pours in my cream and sweetner (not just thrown into the bag without a way to mix it together). There is always a final check before the order is given to me to make sure it is correct. It's the little things he does to make my family keep coming back to this location. When we drive up to the drive thru window, my kids always see Gage and yell "Yes!! It's the guy with the beard!!!" Thank you for the excellent service! read more
