The couple who owns the place has clearly gone to great lengths to create an exceptional cocktail experience. You can tell they genuinely love their craft, and that attention to detail comes through in both the atmosphere and the drinks. The cocktail menu is thoughtfully curated across a wide range of spirits, with enough creativity and variety to appeal to just about every palate. My wife and I especially enjoy coming here as the seasons change to see what new creations they've introduced, while still being able to fall back on favorites from their regular menu. Their Old Fashioneds are exceptional, and as someone who gravitates toward tequila and mezcal, I'm always impressed by what they do with those spirits. The Cozy Old Fashioned is a personal favorite, but I've yet to have a cocktail here that felt like an afterthought. We ordered the chicken tostadas from the happy hour menu, a mixed green beat salad, and the recommended cheesesteak spring roll. The quality, quantity, and price point don't have up. The flavor profile of the food doesn't either. The chipotle chicken tostadas left little to be desired. The presentation alone was incredibly unappealing, and the taste wasn't much better. The cheesesteak spring roll: while the presentation was exponentially better than the chipotle chicken tostadas, this was essentially ground beef fried in a wonton whopper. The chipotle sauce on the plate actually made it taste worse. Two "spring rolls "for around $15 is in insanity, especially when they aren't worth eating. The beet salad: out of the three dishes that we ordered this was definitely the best of the three, but not worth ordering again. A cold salad should be just that, cold. If it's a meat salad, the expectation would be to have, I don't know more than a couple of beats that have been quartered and placed on the plate.
