The service is much better, the drink refills are quick, and the food is fantastic. If you want a No Frills meal at a reasonable price, this is the place for you! Stopped by with some friends for a lunch on a Sunday. It was super busy, but we did not have to wait to be seated. I ordered the monthly margarita and the chicken crispers combo. BE AWARE that Chilis West Roseville is now enforcing their 5 minute page policy where you have ONLY 5 minutes to check in at the podium AFTER you are paged, or you IMMEDIATELY go to the BOTTOM of the list! I came here for the chips and salsa, baked potato soup, quesadilla salad, a Diet Coke, and I got exactly what I was expecting. The chips were fresh and warm. The food was great, always filling and inexpensive. We spent ~ $35 for the two of us. Here... the service was GREAT. Kevin was our server and he was absolutely wonderful!!! Attentive, quick, funny, friendly, and VERY helpful. As someone who goes to lots of restaurants, I understand that customers can be pretty specific and particular with their dietary restrictions and preferences. Went to Chili's for a quick lunch with a friend and got there right before noon. Oh Chili's....how I remember you guys were the best back in the early 2000s ....and now how I remember why I haven't been back in over a decade. A friend gave the wife and I a gift card to Chili's knowing that I'm a foodie and I think she secretly hates me. Our server was pleasant and top of things. The wife an I decided to split the "nachos," a burger, and get the 18 count wings because why would you pay $15 for 8 when you could get 16 for $21? Chili's Corporate...fire the guy that decided to make your nachos the way that you do. What a sorry, sad, pile of shit. We opted for the nachos instead of the queso because why not at $1.50 more....you get the same queso with extra right? What a mistake. They do it the way that some other places do it where the "nacho" is an individual bite. These MFers slapped some beans on a chip, melted some cheese on it, then in the middle piled jalapenos, pico, and sour cream in the middle. The description says skillet queso with beef. What I got says otherwise. This is a struggle meal that you would make with random left over crap you have in your fridge that you just throw together and microwave. Salsa for your nachos? Nah, I had to use tabasco sauce. What a joke. The burger was well done. Like really well done. Basically dark brown/gray all the way through. Wife chose the just bacon burger. Bacon was the type you see in the store that is premade and you just throw in the microwave. You know, like the kind you would get in a breakfast sandwich at McDonald's or Jack in the Box. Wings were over cooked. Super dry. They were crispy because what I think actually happens is that they double fry them....but do they fry them once until completely done, throw them in the fridge, then fry them again when an order is up? Maybe. That's the texture that I got. Like I was eating a nicely re-heated air fried leftover wing. Except they were over done to begin with so they were dry as hell. Also how are sriracha honey wings yellow? My wife said they taste more like a spicy orange chicken. Perfect description. More honey, less sriracha, Nashville Hot is I think mayonnaise is spicy hot. Had an ok flavor. I hate establishments that claim Nashville Hot when it's just Nashville spiced. Whoa! I can't believe I haven't reviewed them after all these years! First off, Chili's is family friendly and easy on the wallet. Who can beat their old Timer cheeseburger w/fries, side all for $10.99? It's a part of their 3 For Me deal. McD's can't beat that.!. The menu is more of American/Mexican with great drinks and family friendly food. We've been loyal Chili's customers for EVER, they're far better than Applewhoo down the street, IMO . Recently, I had a mishap where they were suppose to credit my ToGo order. He said it might take a few days. Well, after waiting a week and still not reimbursed, I called. The manager, Todd, took excellent care of me and apologized. I was taken aback because it wasn't Todd's fault but he made sure I was satisfied. Plus, my credit card was reimbursed that day. Our second time in this location and we always go on a friday night after work so ofcourse they are packed & wait time was 30-40 mins tops but nevertheless both our visits has always been phenomenal. My husband & I ordered sirloin steak with 3 different dips & chips, cajun pasta & ribeye steak which is perfection. Our host was very attentive, always made sure that the iced tea is refilled , forgot his name but he is the very tall guy, so tall that i asked how tall he was and he said he was 6'6. Wednesday Night my daughter promoted from Elementary School. For her celebration dinner she chose Chili's. We piled into the car with grandparents in tow. We arrived at approximately 5:20 and observed a large corner booth. Score! So I thought. Approached the host and hostess who I initially believed had common sense and two independent brains and was told the wait was 30 minutes. I was somewhat perplexed seeing all the open booths but understood because most of them were suited for 4 to 6 people. During my wait numerous parties of 2, 4 and 6 walked in and were either immediately seated or seated within 5 minutes. I sat wondering as the corner booth was still empty. After 40 minutes, (reminding you the reader this is Chili's on Wednesday night) I finally inquired to the host if the corner booth was functional. The host responded "that booth won't fit your party." Having been to this Chili's before I have seen this very booth fit upwards of 8 full size adults. The hostess arrived back at the podium to confer with the host as I began to realize the two were sharing one brain. I inquired to the hostess about the booth and she walked to speak to the manager. The hostess arrived back and asked if I could fit my party in one of the numerous open 6 person booths. I told her It would probably be too tight for my party. The hostess then stated it would probably be another 5 to 10 minutes. After a few minutes, keep in mind the corner booth has been open for over 40 minutes, I again asked about the empty corner booth. The hostess now responded the corner booth was reserved. A few more minutes passed and a party of 5 walked in and walked to the corner booth and assumed the space. I looked as they sat and noticed they had room for another 4 people. I told the host my party I would be withdrawing my name from the waiting list to which he responded sarcastically "have a nice day." Realizing this host would fail at watching paint dry I asked for the manager. The manager was very polite and when told about the conundrum, seemed mystified on how two of his employees could not figure out how the round peg went in the round hole and the square peg in the square hole. The manager said he would have to talk to them about how to seat people. Long story short I took my family across the parking lot to Tomatinas and had a better dinner. Advice to anyone going to Chili's make sure you go when the place is empty because the seating of guests is an incredibly difficult task to for these two to figure out. read more

Walked in and was told of a 25 minute wait. Then I only waited less than 10 to be seated, and another 10 for food. My chicken crispers were excellent, as was the salad. Sadly, chilis discontinued the Caesar salad, but a ranch salad makes for an equally good replacement. My chicken crispers and fries were both hot and both seasoned. Chili's is about everything you'd expect from a chain sit down restaurant. Fast paced, mid range pricing, minimal service interaction. Our food was not bad. We ordered the beef queso skillet, and two triple dippers with varying items. The beef skillet was very good, but the chip to dip ratio was a little off and we were left with lots of extra chips, which were still delicious on their own. The triple dippers took quite a while, but they were still warm at least when they came out. The mozzarella sticks were my absolute favorite thing on the platter. The BBQ boneless wings were quite good as well, but somewhat dry. Everything else was about average, but still enjoyable. We got our desserts to go, and the Reese's cheesecake was very tasty, just extremely sweet (as expected). Overall the experience at chili's was good, but fairly average. Called to let them know what all was wrong and the manager took care of it immediately, offering food replacement or refund. Also, expressed appreciation for letting him know about the kitchen issue. I cannot remember the last time I have been to a Chili's. At least since before the pandemic. We came because we had a gift card. I did not have any idea what they had on the menu and I was surprised to find a large selection. There is a little bit of everything. I remember that I used to get their fajitas but was also in the mood for pasta so I got the cajun chicken and shrimp pasta for $20.69. Hubs ordered the appetizer trio for $20 and we got the bottomless chips n salsa with Queso for $11. It was decently good but not Mmmm MMmmm good. The mozzarella sticks were better than most. Our meal with one non alcoholic drink plus tip came to $65. Was it worth all that? Not at all. There are a number of places that would have been more satisfying for less. Had an hour go by before the last person in our group received a consumable meal which was still raw although they respectfully asked for it to be cooked more 3 previous times.
