My girlfriend and I were meeting up for dinner and decided to go to the Dos in south davis to avoid having to look for parking downtown. I ordered the Mango burrito as a bowl and she ordered the vegetarian burrito. My bowl was pretty good. I felt full when I was done. My gf was not super excited about her burrito. She was disappointed because she almost got her normal order and decided to do something different. Service was normal - nothing to really write about. We love the outdoor seating as it gives us a nice quiet place to chat.

Drove pretty far to come visit south davis dos coyotes, and never disappoints! Very friendly attentive staff. Border steak, spicy , black beans sour cream on the side is always the business! Steak, Salsa bar and chips always on point! Everything's really flavorful and fresh! I think next time I ordered extra meat, little lightweight on the portions otherwise everything was great

Man, this used to be my jam when I lived in Sac to go to college. I used to frequent the one over by the mall so I jumped at the chance to visit this place when we were passing through and hunger pains hit us. We stopped in around 3:30p on a Saturday afternoon thinking it wouldn't be that busy and we were wrong, the place was packed. Happy to see they still had their yummy salsa bar. What I swallowed: *My good ol' go to: PAELLA BURRITO: Grilled shrimp.. mahi mahi... sausage.. rice.. cheese.. that aioli party going on.. mmmmm... one bite and it was like all the memories came rushing back.. such a good burrito. This place has always been a good spot to eat at, great food and friendly service. Give this place shot if you haven't been. It's worth it.

It's a fast food Mexican chain in the Davis area. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You order, take a number, and find a table. I don't think the seats and tables are regularly cleaned, so you might need to do that before taking a seat. We ordered the Hank's cubano with pickled jalapeños on the side and the Border burrito without beans. Rice and beans are in majority of the menu items here which is disappointing. Unless you're ordering a plate, Mexican fast food joints in San Diego wouldn't serve it with rice and beans. Seems like a way to fill the burrito with ingredients that aren't meat.. 1/5- Chips weren't thick and fresh, and the hottest salsa was just spicy and lacked in flavor. 3/5- Hank's cubano was a solid 4 with mustard, but it doesn't taste great without the mustard. Therefore, I knocked off a point. The menu said it's supposed to be a green chili jam but I'm pretty sure it wasn't? I also didn't taste all the distinct cheeses. 2/5- Border burrito was meh. Honestly don't have much to say about it because I had my partner eat it all.

This review is for Dos Coyotes' catering service. We had a grad student picnic for our small program of about 20 people and many folks had dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, no red meat, no dairy, no added sugar, no nitrates, etc.) A HUGE thank you to Joshua for helping us figure out which options were best suited for each set of dietary restrictions! The event was a success and everyone was able to enjoy the food. We called in the night before our event and set the pick up for the following afternoon. The majority of people got the Border Burritos, which were delicious! I got the Border Burrito Bowl (a gluten-free option, without the flour tortilla). Several got the vegetarian option, the Southwest Burritos (Vegetables and Rice) and for the vegan option, we did the Southwest with Refried beans. For the very restrictive no red meat/no dairy/no added sugar/no nitrates, we did the Salmon Spinach salad (all extra dressings/sauces on the side) and that person was happy as well. We also enjoyed many orders of chips with guacamole, which come with a TON of chips -- we probably could have ordered less chips, since the burrito orders already come with a small side of chips.

Service ok. Mahi mahi burrito was cold and mostly rice. Do not recommend this burrito. Others in party had fish tacos, which they enjoyed.

Cheapish eats, chip and salsa bar, quick and fresh eats. There is both indoor seatingand outdoor seating and located on the cutest street. The fish and shrimp tacos were great and filling, topped with so much crunch cabbage, hiding the protein, but it was there. The flautas were delicious and the steak tacos had juicy bites of steak. The guac was weak (not an order but what came with flautas). More of thick avocado salsa. Props to the great beer options - with some local varieties from Davis. I loved the quesabirria taco, which came with consommé and my Aggie taco was ok. The Aggie had so much cabbage my friend asked me if there was any fish inside. I assured her there was but it did take me about 4 bites before I found my way to it. Otherwise, everything was tasty! The blue corn tortilla on the Aggie taco was a nice touch since it's one of UC Davis' school colors. The service was great; everyone was friendly and I liked that they cleared away our empty plates often. I also love that they have a complimentary chips and salsa bar. This place is obviously popular- the turnover time was fast and still more people were coming through the door when we left. Thanks and I'm looking forward to returning for brunch!

This building in Davis sits on a corner and is hot pink, so you can't miss it. They have outdoor, covered seating that was very enjoyable with today's great weather. My favorite thing about lunch today (5/7/26) was the service. The food was good, but the service was excellent. Upon arrival, my first time here I peered into the interior of the restaurant to see if my relative had arrived. I was immediately greeted by a very nice young man behind the counter. I exited the building and sat down at one of their exterior tables so my cousin could easily spot me, and the same very nice young man came out and brought me a menu to review while I was waiting for my cousin to arrive. Once she arrived, we went inside and ordered our meals, and returned to their outside seating. They have an open chips and salsa bar which was great as we waited for our meals. A short while later, another nice young man (with braids) came out to clear the table and offer drink refills. They were both very kind, accommodating and engaging. It's very nice to have great customer service from these gentlemen. We had a lovely lunch, and I would return.

But don't let that stop you. The food is excellent and it's worth taking the time to figure out your order. A few dishes I'd point you toward: the Fajita plate, the Al Pastor plate, and the Quesabirria Tacos are all worth ordering. On my first visit I had what I believe is called the Milpas Salad which was great, but I don't see it on the menu anymore. Great chips and salsa bar too. Great outdoor seating for nice days, and dog-friendly. Already my go-to for Mexican food in town. Love all the artwork on the walls too.
