Mexicano burrito $16.99 beans dry tasteless hardly any meat and they put a lot of onions
Sonia P.

Did they change ownership or what? I remember coming here a while back and it was good food the ambiance was nice and friendly today the restaurant looks like it was taken apart and put back with no effort the tables got some red pepper as a center piece all dirty full of dirt there's no menu only a white board with what they offer. The man taking our order was nice but other than that it's was not worth $48 for 2 burritos and 2 sodas he said they charge for dining in $1.25 tax per soda and there were other charges on there that didn't make sense. Food was nasty

Enchiladas

Highly recommended this restaurant. Came by this evening for dinner with my fiancé and brother. I got the salsa verde burrito, my fiancé got the California burrito, and my brother got the enchiladas. Everything was absolutely amazing. I used to work right around the corner from this restaurant for almost 6 years and it always smelled so good- I'm kicking myself now for never coming here till now! The owner was extremely friendly and inviting. They have plenty or indoor and outdoor dining. We took advantage of the slightly cooler weather and ate outside. They have complimentary chips and a salsa bar. Everything was so good! We will definitely be coming back :)

2 tacos con rice and beans

It's an ok place. The staff is super friendly. It was hot, and I asked for water and the cashier gave me a refrigerated bottle of water for free. My order of 2 tacos and rice and beans came with free chips and salsa. Nothing special but just solid Mexican food if you are driving on Highway 80 and need an affordable and quick pit stop. The decorations on the wall are both educational and entertaining. It's framed newspaper articles of the struggle of independence and territories between the US and Mexico.

Flour Flautas

Absolutely Amazing 10/10 Everything is made with fresh ingredients and love, it always looks like a work of art. This is definitely a hole in the wall spot. Once you know about it you become a regular. Manny(owner) has some new additions to the menu and I can't wait to try them. But it's hard to leave the classic flour Flautas and Burrito Mexicano. The place is clean and very family vibes. They have a delicious salsa bar as well and I just can't get enough of this place. My hubby and I keep coming back every Wednesday, so if you go then we will see you there!!!

Completely inedible...... The meat is like rocks cant even chew it. The rice can pierce your gums....

Me and my fiance both ordered a super burrito one was was wet and 1 was regular. both of us were chewing on our burritos and we kept chewing down on super hard hard meat and the rice was completely undercooked or it was just left out for many hours and dried out. I am completely disappointed in our entire meal we just threw it all in the trash. Oh and by the way make sure you bring cash because their ATM is down I had to go back to the bank take money out come back and pay in cash.

Such a beautiful burrito. The red and green sauces on top are so good.

Just moved to Dixon and have been trying to find a good burrito spot. We really liked this place! The owner is the nicest guy ever. Very welcoming and you can tell he really cares about his customers. Food is delicious and the presentation is beautiful. Look at the picture of the burrito I ordered. We will be coming here a lot. Note: this place is cash only.

This place never disapoints. Always fresh and delicious.

Been to Jacky's twice now and we really like this place…read more Great location right on 1st Street. Wonderful decor with plenty of seating. Family owned and you can really feel the warmth in the customer service and the love they put into their food. So far, we've tried their chicken nachos (HUGE serving!), crispy chicken tacos, and chicken enchiladas, combination fajitas, along with some beans and rice. Absolutely tremendous...Home cooked taste with a nice presentation. I'm envious of the family and friends that were privy to this food prior to the opening of this restaurant. Jacky's has a cocktails, beer, and wine as well. We've tried the Michelada de Tamarindo, a Top Shelf Margarita, and the Jacky's Azul (combination of vodka, lemonade, blue curacao, and peach punch). We've enjoyed all three. A really wonderful place and a nice addition to Dixon.

My friend and I had an impromptu dinner and he said we should go to Jacky's. I had not yet been so…read moreI was looking forward to it. I knew I wanted a burrito so I would have lunch tomorrow. I ordered the super burrito with carnitas. My friend ordered the loaded nachos. Granted we were the next to last customers, so they were definitely ready to go home. But they were still super friendly! I received my burrito and it had cheese (which I had asked to NOT have) and sour cream on the side (which I had also asked to have). I just let the cheese-thing go since I didn't want them to have to remake the burrito. After I asked the server, she brought out a ramekin of sour cream. The nachos looked good and he ate all of them so that was good. The chips are always nice to have but these chips weren't anything to write home about. They've done a great job decorating. It feels very welcoming and colorful. Like I said we got there at 7:15 and they closed at 8, so next time I'll go in earlier.
